Dianna's gaze pierced through Winter, accompanied by her taunting words.
She could sense that others' impressions of her were far from mere illusion; however, she cared little, as no one truly knew the real her yet.
"Anyway, let's not waste any more time and get to work," Dianna stated, bringing the previous discussion to a close. She subsequently gestured towards the shelf.
"Do you see that file?" she asked."You need to review it and report to me the loss and profit we gain for the last few months."
Winter acknowledged and was about to get the file. "Also, bring me a cup of coffee," Diana added, halting Winter in her tracks.
Winter wondered if she was deliberately trying to pick at her; however, her thoughts were interrupted by her following words.
"Please stop staring and focus on your tasks."
Winter was annoyed by Dianna's domineering demeanor, but she chose to suppress her pride and pivoted to grab the file and exit the room.
