Chapter One
A powerful, handsome werewolf stands by the window, a steaming mug of coffee cradled in his strong hands. His chiseled jawline, dusted with a faint shadow of stubble, catches the soft morning light filtering through the glass. His piercing eyes, a vivid mix of gold and amber, seem to glow faintly as he gazes out at the forest beyond, lost in thought.
Broad shoulders and a muscular build are accentuated by a fitted black shirt with the sleeves rolled up, revealing forearms marked by faint scars—remnants of past battles. His dark hair, slightly tousled, frames his face, giving him a rugged yet refined look. The faint aroma of coffee mingles with the earthy scent of pine wafting in from the open window.
The way he sips the coffee—slowly, deliberately—suggests a creature of habit, someone who savors the quiet moments before the chaos of the day begins. Despite his calm demeanor, an aura of raw power and primal energy surrounds him, as if the wolf within is always just beneath the surface, ready to emerge. A hand gently touched this shoulder he turned back to see who it was.
"Mom it's you"
"Did I make you startled?" Sarah asked.
"Not at all. No one dares to scare me; I'm a havoc." He sneered. " So tell me how was the meeting at the pack?" Zeal asked.
"Nothing much new members joined Jacob already set a date for their welcoming ritual."
"Ok Mom"
He used his werewolf heightened sense to signal Jacob; immediately, Jacob received the message and quickly showed up in front of Zeal.
"I was worried you wouldn't receive my signal only a strong-minded person can access my signal and here you are the few lessons I gave you after making you the park beta finally it's paid off"
"I'm grateful for your trust Alpha."
"Did you see the news humans are being massacred? Do you have any idea who did it? I hope it is not from our pack. You know I don't like people going against my order it will put our people in danger if the government finds out about our existence."
"No, Alpha, nothing like that is happening at the pack. I have everything under control, or maybe it's the werewolf hunters that captured your father. This might be their plan to lure us into their trap" Jacob analyzed.
"Sighed! They dare to create a problem for our pack. We will fight back, but now is not the right time." Zeal said as he clenched his fist on the coffee mug and made it break into pieces.
"I want you to inform the pack that the new members will join us in hunting the next full moon, and this time, I will join in the hunt." He said disdainfully.
Jacob was surprised to hear him say he would join the hunting. It had never happened before, and ever since, his father, the former Alpha, was hunted down by werewolf hunters, and the power was passed down to him. After that day, no one had seen his face.
"Alpha, it's almost night. I need to take my leave; I don't want the people at the pack to let their guard down while I'm away."
"This time around, we must find your father; I just hope he is still alive," Sarah said, with a tearful voice.
He moved at a very full speed, heading to the pack.
