Damian didn't even look or meet any of them. He just turned around and walked towards the forest outside the safe zone. His gaze is cautious and constant vigilant because in tower the monsters aren't the only threats you need watch out for. Greedy and the desire to survive will turn even the heart of good man into a monster. And there are rogues in the tower too.
ROGUE
Also known as a dark awakener, is a human who plot against humanity and serves the entities of other world. They try to kill anyone who has the potential to grow into a powerhouse. They're called the hunting dogs of other races. The tower is a dangerous place where an awakener can die anytime.
Damian moved forward while a boy called him," hey bro, we're forming a team to get better survival chance. Do you want to join too? ", Damian said," sorry I'm not interested ", but the boy didn't go away and said," hey we're not bad guys just listen buddy. This is the tower. You need to stick together in order to survive you know. So why don't you stick with us. You just need to tell us your skill and that's all ".
Damian looked at him and said," I'm not interested", the boy grew irked and yelled," oh! Seems like you're either a small fry with a small skill or someone with too much pride in your heart. We're being generous already by offering a team proposal you know. I have a D rank skill, the team leader has a B rank skill and other members have skills that's atleast D rank or above ".
Damian looked at him and said," i have a F rank skill - enhanced touch. Do you want to take me ?", the boy looked at him in disdain and said," oh! Low level skill doesn't mean you'll be stuck. Do your best okay? ", he then walked away without saying a word.
Damian meanwhile curled his lips. Forming a party? When a crisis arrived these guys are the first ones to abandon their party or when the rewards appeared they will be the first ones to protest. They're the ones that will backstab you when they see the opportunity.
Damian stretched his body and walked into the forest. His targets are slimes. That's right, if it's another skill he got he may have avoided them. It's because of their bouncy bodies that melee attacks have less effects on them. Until their core is destroyed they will eventually regenerate and kill you. Their acid bullets and water bullets are also lethal for newbies without much stats.
But their skill - Regeneration is a good thing. He can get the skills of these slimes. A wonderful skill, some slimes may even evolve into poison or metal slimes depending on the conditions. Damian goes to the slime forest and saw few people. Usually anyone in slime forest either has fire related skills or piercing type skills that targets core.
Damian walked into forest and encountered a slime. It's blue in colour and bouncing around. Don't take it's cute appearance, it's called rookie buster for a reason. Unless you have the above two skills, you tend to avoid these guys.
The slime suddenly jumped at him with full speed. Damian learned back while the slime who missed the target turned around and shot an acid bullet. That's why they're called rookie busters, the acid bullets once hit can melt your skin. And you may get killed.
Damian used the short sword he has to split the acid bullet and dodged another tackle from the slime. He then charged towards the slime while it fired a water bullets at him. Damian evaded this too and continued his charge, just then the slime fired an acid bullet. Holding the short sword as a shield he defected it and the acid bullet landed on the nearby tree melting it's bark with an acidic fume.
Damian then stabbed the slime from it's top, but it didn't pierced the core. He smirked and tossed the slime upwards. And when it landed it's like a pan on the floor. Damian didn't waste anytime and pierced it again. This time it's core is smashed and the slime is dead.
Damian looked at the notifications:

Damian didn't look disappointed. His Gluttony is only in its first transition. So it's understandable only one skill will appear.
