Chereads / Arrogant Young Master / Chapter 33 - Madness

Chapter 33 - Madness

Inside the Spring Flower Pavilion, Xenon casually sipped his beer while enjoying a plate of Tier 2 demonic beast meat. Just then, a voice transmission from Tarra reached him.

"Young Master, a Martial Warrior Stage 1 individual has just entered the Spring Flower Pavilion."

Xenon paused mid-drink.

First, a girl carrying a poisoned dagger capable of killing a Martial Warrior had appeared. Now, a Martial Warrior had arrived.

Was she targeting this person?

An assassination?

A smirk played on Xenon's lips as his curiosity deepened. For now, he chose to sit back, enjoy his drink, and observe the unfolding events.

Meanwhile, on the performance platform, the female musician continued playing gracefully. Suddenly, two female attendants—Linda and Tina—who had approached Xenon earlier, stepped onto the stage.

The musician frowned in confusion. Why were they interrupting? She was in the middle of a performance, and the audience was watching.

"Linda, Tina? What are you doing here!?" she asked.

Then, something utterly bizarre happened.

Linda suddenly began hopping like a frog in front of everyone, while Tina launched into an endless series of backflips.

The audience was stunned.

"W-What are they doing?"

"Is this part of the performance?"

"What the hell is happening!?"

Even the other attendants of the pavilion were bewildered. Linda and Tina were among the most beautiful women in the Spring Flower Pavilion, yet here they were, behaving like lunatics.

Linda continued hopping, licking random objects before suddenly shouting something that sent shockwaves through the crowd:

"The Emperor of the Blue Water Kingdom is a little bitch!"

Gasps filled the room.

Meanwhile, Tina, exhausted from her relentless backflips, collapsed onto the floor and started crawling like a worm, using only her legs.

The audience was in complete disbelief. Some choked on their drinks, while others simply stared, unable to process what they were witnessing.

Inside their minds, Linda and Tina were horrified. They could see everything happening but had completely lost control of their own bodies.

"What's happening to me!?" Linda panicked internally. "I want to pass out! If Emperor Elric hears what I just said, I'm dead!"

A furious voice suddenly echoed through the pavilion.

"WHAT MADNESS IS THIS!?"

The musician snapped her head toward the source of the voice.

"Madam Greta!"

At the edge of the platform stood Greta, the owner of the Spring Flower Pavilion and a Martial Apprentice Stage 9. Her eyes burned with rage.

In an instant, she dashed forward, intent on knocking Linda and Tina unconscious.

Her mind raced. 'What are these two fools doing!? The reputation of the Spring Flower Pavilion will be ruined! Worse, if the Emperor hears that a mere brothel worker insulted him, we'll all be doomed!'

Taking a deep breath, Greta turned to the audience.

"Everyone, I deeply apologize for this inconvenience..."

Then, her gaze shifted to a middle-aged man in robes—Sage Delman.

Earlier, they had been engaged in conversation, but the commotion had disrupted everything. Now, he too had witnessed the bizarre scene.

Without hesitation, Greta grabbed Linda and Tina like sacks of grain and rushed toward Sage Delman, desperation in her voice.

"Sage Delman... we need your help with this."

The sage smiled faintly and surveyed the room. This brothel was one of his favorites—it would be a shame if it were destroyed over such an incident.

With a flick of his hand, Delman released his spiritual energy, directing it at the Martial Warrior Stage 1.

Instantly, everyone below Martial Apprentice Stage 7 felt an unbearable pressure, as though their bodies were being crushed.

A heavy silence fell over the room.

Delman's deep voice boomed:

"I am Sage Delman from Tazar Academy. No word of what transpired here shall leave this place. Do you all understand?"

Fear gripped the audience, and they responded hastily.

"Y-Yes, Sage! We saw and heard nothing!"

"Yes, Sage Delman!"

"We swear on our lives!"

Satisfied, Delman turned back to Greta.

"Alright. The spectacle is over. Now, let's get back to business."
