Chapter 1 - THE POWER OF MUSIC PART 1

I don't know what's up with some girls, man... So, there's this day I had set aside for physical fitness—it was a fine Saturday. I got to Kabianga and found the gym room locked, so I decided to head to the school grounds to train there. Even if it was just some random football match, I'd have appreciated it. 😂 By the way, exercising is healthy.

I arrived at school that morning in my pink shorts, which were actually a pair of trousers seven years ago 😀 (I'm not growing), and a bright green gym vest. My water bottle was intact. I trained for an hour and then went to the field to rekindle my 12-year-old football skills.

When I got to the field, I discovered there was no casual football match—the kind where you're told to "find someone to join you" 😀 or you end up on a team with 17 players while the other has 10 because they've got boots. 😂😂

I was disappointed and decided to leave the pitch. Feeling a bit down, I wandered over to Frustration Square. As I looked around from a distance, I spotted a fine girl sitting all by herself, broh... 😀❤️

I walked straight up to her, no handshakes. I wanted to crack a joke to break the ice.

"Good afternoon—or is it still morning here in Kabianga?" 😂 I said, mixing a statement with a question in a playful tone.

"No, it's noon," she replied to both my question and my joke with a smile. I told myself, "Okay, man, just go with the flow here."

Sometimes, us guys can be pretty dumb. 😀 I might just be the dumbest of them all because the next thing I said was, "Do I smell bad from here?" She gave me a long look and kept quiet.

"Mmmh?" I added. Still, she just sized me up.

At that point, I decided to put on some music since the Wi-Fi refused to connect.

PERFECT DESIGN by Nyashinski... uuh, this song slaps! If you know it, you know it's perfect for singing along to.

So there she was, tapping her feet to the rhythm. Slowly but surely, she started singing along—and it was my phone playing the song. "Hii yetu hii yetu ni perfect design beib, kwangu milele ntangoja..." 🎶 She sang. But since she wasn't willing to talk to me, I paused the music and left her hanging with the wrong lyrics. 😂😂

Do you know what happened next? 😂 ...PART 2.
