A blinding white light shot down from the sky into one the derelict apartment in the deserted neighborhood. The light seemed to have drawn the attention of the various entities in the locality as each of them began marching towards the light descent location.
With the derelict building, the light disappeared after few seconds, revealing a male teenager whose age could not have passed 18. He was 5'9inch tall. His hairs were pure white and his gaze sharp. His nose were not too pointed and his lips were crimson red like one who had just drank blood.
He wore a casual short-sleeved grey shirt with the word 'PHANTASM' written on the shirt in gothic font and italic style. His pants were of matching colour with his shirt. He wore a long pencil-like jean and complimented his entire dressing in black Nike-brand sneakers.
His mind was buzzing with questions about where he was, but all that answered him were the humming sounds and the slow walking sounds of something. Piqued, he moved towards the shattered window by the side of the room to know what was happening.
The environment was dark and it took him no effort to know it was already nighttime. The outside world looked desolate, devoid of any human or animal. The street in which the building he was in was seemed it had it rough against the fierce attack from someone or something. This scene further made him want to know exactly where he was.
The humming sounds and footsteps drew his gaze towards a partial human or say humanoid. The veils of darkness made it hard for him to see clearly, but with the details he had...
"A frickin' robot!?" He muttered under his breath in shock.
The 'humanoid' had a pair of bright red eyes that could be seen even 100 meters away. It had the body structure of a human but the faint discernment of cables that ran across various parts of it body made him ascertain that he was seeing a robot.
In its hands was a semi-automatic gun that resembled an MP5 from Earth. The gun had one or two attachments like an 16x scope and a big round hole beneath the nozzle of the gun. The white-haired teen observed the robot as it took a step every two seconds.
Abruptly, the robot's red eyes locked gazes with the white-haired teen.
"ENEMY SPOTTED!!! ATTACK MODE ENGAGED!!!"
Before the teenager could attempt running, the robot spotted him and sent a loud warning sound into the air as if to alert it robot friends.
POP!
The robot fired a spherical ball that came out from the round hole beneath the gun's nozzle. Like a bullet, the ball, with the size of a ping-pong ball, flew towards the semi-destroyed building at high speed while the robot kept marching towards the enemy's spot.
BOOM!
The ball which was actually an explosive bullet exploded upon contact with the half-fallen walls of the building. From it foundation, the building began to quake in violently. Unexpectedly, the robot shot another explosive bullet at the building, turning the violently quaking into a quick crumbling.
Standing and gazing at the ruins of the house searching for any signs of life, a thick metal rod stabbed the robot from it rear. The rod passed through the back of the robot to it front where a blue-coloured core was giving a gentle hum.

Syd, the white-haired teenager, saw an HUD panel appear in his sight. The last time he saw this kind of panel was back on Earth. While he was in his basement, the panel popped up with a question. Without thinking he chose Yes since he thought his Visual Implant was having problems.
Oh! Earth was a place that was technologically advanced. Implants and all sort of technology existed. An hour later, a strange force appeared out of nowhere and sucked him in while sending him into another planet or place entirely.
Syd gawked at the notification for sneaking on the robot known as Rogue Mechanoid and killing it.
At first when the Rogue Mechanoid shot the first explosive bullet, Syd had reached the exit of the building and upon explosion, Syd dived away from the building. He found a rusty metal rod near his crash spot and hid behind an abandoned vehicle. By the time the Rogue Mechanoid shot the second explosive bullet, Syd had stealthily moved behind the Mechanoid with only a vehicle dividing the two opponent. He grabbed the opportunity of the Mechanoid engrossed with the search of him and stabbed it from behind, targeting it core.
[SAY OPEN INVENTORY TO FIND ACQUIRED]
"Open Inventory." According to the notification he got, he followed the prompt and said. Instantly, the display before him changed to another interface.

Without even another prompt from the panel, he said "Equip" making the Karvok SMG appear in his hand. He checked the gun and grinned... But the grin didn't last long...
Ta! Ta! Ta! Ta!
Bullets spewed out of the nozzle of five or more Karvok SMG, all aimed towards with. With immediate alacrity, he dove into the cover of one abandoned vehicle, saving his head in the process.

"NO!" As someone who had gained perfect mastery of guns and weapons both in real life and in Virtual Reality, it would be an insult if he enabled the assist.
Syd checked the bullets left in the gun and confirmed it was a full round. Each rounds of the Karvok SMG contained forty-five bullets. Happily, he knew he could still save about five rounds in his Inventory. He checked the explosive bullets and found three bullets left.
Having confirmed the status of his new SMG, he crawled away from the vehicle to another one. It was like a traffic congestion on the street before the Rogue Mechanoids attacked. With this set of barricades, he crawled fifteen meters away from his previous location while his attackers resumed their firing spree.
In a commando stance, Syd sprung up from his hiding spot, catching the Mechanoids offguard and shooting his first explosive bullet at their squad.
