Valtilean gripped Roland's hair, and brought him up, all Roland could feel was worthlessness. He knew he couldn't lie at all, as he knew for sure the oppressive black eyes of his would see through all that dares defy him.
Roland was pale, his breath grew shallow, nothing he could do would save him, all the cells in his body were raging, the same way he described it in the log during when he was 1002. The first meeting between him and Valtilean.
"Answer the damn question, Saeonius." Valtilean demanded, clenching Roland's hair before throwing him down, he looked at his hand, which had some of Roland's strands of hair, then shook his hand as if there was nothing but a dead insect.
"Fine, I'll ask another question." Valtilean sighed, his gaze never left Roland's eyes, he clenched his hand into a fist.
"Where's Satoya Kamiyama?" He asked as he looked down on Roland. Roland's mind was empty, but a simple answer kept lingering in his head, as if begging to be said. Until the words slipped from his lips.
"I lost him."
Before Roland knew it, his entire head was grabbed, then slammed into the charred ground causing massive devastation to the entire lifeless island. Roland's brain matter scattered everywhere, but his consciousness still remained, just in a deep, simple silence.
Valtilean wiped his hand in a piece of cloth he took out of his pocket, before tossing the cloth behind him. "Fine then, I'll find him myself."
"But one last question." Valtilean asked, before taking out a sword. This sword's edge seemed to have been worn down, along with the sword appearing extremely old, and had a metallic–blood like stench.
"So Saeonius, do you know where The Falsity of All Truth is?"
Valtilean's question was met with silence, before he let out a deep sigh. "Oh right, you are a fodder compared to the rest of them."
He then bent his legs into a crouch, looking at Roland's face. Despite his brain matter being scattered, Roland remained well alive. "Calibre capable of rewriting molecules into your own cells, yet weakest among all past cataclysms."
Valtilean then stood up, looking at his watch, before making a 'tch' sound while rolling his eyes. Valtilean then snapped his fingers, before a gate–similar to Ludwig Azure's starlit gate, but the major difference being its completely devoid of color and seemed much smaller.
Then a deceased man fell from the gate, this man was wearing the VHC uniform, but appeared to have been killed from countless stab wounds from the front and back.
"Go ahead, heal yourself."
Valtilean then turned away, while behind him, a large cocoon of biomass formed behind him where Roland and the deceased man were. Not even a minute later, the cocoon unraveled itself to reveal a fully reconstructed Roland.
"You do know I need the calibre of the person to resurrect them right?" Roland pointed out, he was still trembling in fear, but was more 'composed' despite the roaring resentment his entire body has against Valtilean.
Valtilean shrugged, as if he knew the requirements, he then said in a bored–detached tone. "Exactly, that's why I'm searching for him."
