The blood from the beast splattered onto Satoya's entire side. He looked at the dead beast in shock, then turned his gaze toward the young man who killed it. The young man had dark hair, with menacing dark blue eyes. He also wore a suit but without a tie, but an odd logo piqued Satoya's curiosity.
The young man stood up, and he pulled his sword out of the beast's head. Satoya realized this man looked no older than 19 or 20. "Survivors?" The young man questioned, like he expected to see nothing but dead civilians.
"Survivors? Really?" Satoya heard behind him, this time, a man who appeared to be in his mid 20s ran up to them, he then heard the same person call out. "Sorry, Ludwig can get pretty intimidating upon first impression."
Upon closer inspection, Satoya realized this man had an odd, 'alien' presence, but he couldn't comprehend the odd feeling of the man. He also noticed how this man had heterochromia, one of his eyes was a rich, gold color, while the other eye was a 'depressing' dark purple.
"My name's Rin Satomura!" He bowed, before offering his hand toward Satoya for a friendly handshake. Satoya reluctantly accepted it, before Rin happily asked, "I'm pretty surprised on how yall survived!"
Satoya paused, baffled at the 'lighthearted' comment said by him. He then suspiciously asked, "What do you mean?"
"Ah, nevermind that." He walked into the toppled train car. Rin stepped and looked at every single detail of everyone, as well as everything in the train car. "This brought me a pretty good idea." Rin chuckled, with Rayna, who woke up a couple seconds ago just simply glared at him in suspicion.
"You guys are the only survivors in the whole train." Ludwig said suddenly. "Ah c'mon, they just woke up, at least give them some time to comprehend everything." Rin sighed as he helped Edward pull Johnathan out of the mound of luggages.
"I think my ankle just broke." Johnathan muttered, Rin then nodded, as if he's taking in information about the situation on everyone. After some deep thought, Rin turned toward Ludwig.
"Ludwig, your calibre lacks training, transport them to the 1st capital headquarter."
Ludwig kneeled, and placed his palms on the ground. Without a single warning, several gates opened below Satoya and his friends. Before they understood what was happening, they fell through, collectively screaming from the sudden fall.
"You could've at least warned them." Rin shrugged, then walked outside the train car. "Lionel did say to transport any survivors there.." He thought while he casted his gaze toward the mountains.
