Avenger (A): Scorched Girl is the embodiment of resentment and misfortune, forever cursed by her own longing for warmth. She resents all that is joyful and beautiful, burning away everything that resembles happiness.

Oblivion Correction (A): Her hatred does not fade with time. Her attacks grow stronger when facing those who live in warmth and comfort, as if fate itself fuels her flames.

Self-Replenishment (Flames) (A+): The fire of her soul does not extinguish. Even as her body crumbles to ash, the flames persist, feeding on her despair. She continuously regenerates magical energy over time.

Personal Skills

Eternal Match Flame (EX):

"These match lights are my only hope…"

The cursed match embedded within her body never goes out. Each match lit creates a fleeting illusion of happiness, but once the light dies, everything around it is consumed in fire. Grants the ability to ignite flames that grow stronger in the presence of joy or warmth.

Charred Despair (B+):

"A warm fireplace… A plentiful dinner… Fancy decorations… What will show up when I light the next match?"

Her own body is burned beyond recognition, yet she still clings to the hope of warmth. As her despair deepens, she becomes more erratic and unstable, increasing her offensive power while making her unable to distinguish friend from foe.

Hatred's Ember (A):

"If I must perish… Then I'll make you meet the same fate."

Her flames are not just fire—they are the embodiment of her suffering. Those burned by them feel an unbearable sense of loss and despair, their thoughts consumed by an overwhelming hatred until their last breath.

However, unlike most self-sacrificing attacks, her fire never truly goes out—her ashes remain, and from them, she will eventually reignite.

"Fourth Match Flame. No… Don't take my hope away from me."

"I'll burn everything… until nothing is left! If there's no warmth, then let there be fire! Fourth Match Flame!"

Lore

Once, she was a simple girl selling matches. Each tiny flame gave her visions of warmth and happiness—a loving family, a feast, a world where she was cherished. But the matches burned out too quickly, and the real world remained cold. Perhaps it was desperation, or perhaps the cruel hand of fate, but she struck match after match until the fire consumed her entirely.

Now, as a Servant, she is little more than a lingering wraith, caught between yearning and destruction. She does not attack out of malice but out of an uncontrollable need to take warmth from others, as if by burning them, she can reclaim the happiness she was denied.

Scorched Girl speaks in a soft, melancholic tone, often lost in half-remembered dreams of a life that never was. She asks questions about warmth, about love, about whether happiness is something that truly exists. But the moment she senses joy, the flames rise.

In the end, she does not know whether she wants to be saved or to burn the world with her.

Dialogue

Summoning

"Ah… A flicker of warmth… Did you summon me, Master? I am Scorched Girl… Class Avenger. My flames burn bright, but they do not warm. Will you give me hope Master?"

Bond 1

"Master… You are kind, aren't you? It's strange. I don't think I was ever treated like this before. But don't get too close. My fire doesn't distinguish between kindness and cruelty… It only burns."

Bond 2

"I have seen it. The warmth of the hearth, the laughter of a family, the light of a star above a peaceful home. I have seen it… but never touched it. Never felt it. Each time I reach for it, my fingers turn to cinders."

Bond 3

"Master, do you think happiness is real? Or is it just another illusion, like the flickering images in my flames? I wonder… If I burned everything away, would I finally find the truth? Would I finally feel whole?"

Bond 4

"I had a dream, Master. A dream where I was not alone in the snow. A dream where someone took my hand and led me to the warmth, where the matches never burned out. It was so vivid… but I woke up, and all that remained was ash Do you think… if I were to burn bright enough, I could change my fate? Or am I doomed to always be betrayed by the cold?"

Bond 5

"Master, I… I'm afraid. Afraid that one day, you will leave like all the others. Afraid that I will wake up alone in the snow again. Tell me… if I keep burning, will you stay? Or will you run when the flames grow too high?"

Wish for the Holy Grail

"The Holy Grail? If it can grant wishes… then I would wish to feel warmth that does not fade. Not fire, not fleeting matches… but true warmth. I don't even know if it exists. But… I would like to believe. Or perhaps… I would simply burn the Grail itself. If happiness is something I can never have, then why should anyone else?"

Like:

"I like the feeling of a match just before it burns out. That brief, fleeting moment where the light warm my body, and it feels as though the world could be warm. But it never lasts."

Dislike:

"Cold. The kind of cold that seeps into your bones, that makes your fingers numb, that makes you feel like you don't exist. That kind of cold is worse than fire… because at least fire leaves something behind."

Relationship sheet

Nero Claudius

"Golden flames and radiant pride… You shine like the sun, Nero. But suns burn out eventually, don't they? Does your fire waver, even for a moment? Or is it truly eternal?"

Chacha

"You laugh so easily, little one… Are you not afraid of being burned? Your fire is like a festival, a bright and fleeting joy… I wonder… If I had been born under such a sky, would my flames have danced like yours?"

Oda Nobunaga (Avenger)

"Your fire is different. It smolders, waiting for the right moment to consume all in its path. You are destruction itself… Yet you wear your ruin with laughter. Tell me, O Demon King—do you ever fear your own flames?"

Jeanne d'Arc (Avenger)

"You… You understand, don't you? The flames of betrayal, those who left us to the cold. But your fire is wrath. Mine is despair. You seek to burn the world… I only wish to stop feeling the cold."

Servants with Burn Affinities

"You and I… We are not so different, are we? Flames cling to us, define us, curse us. But tell me… Do you burn because you wish to? Or because the world has left you no other choice?"
