As David delved deeper into understanding his newfound abilities, his primary focus shifted to amassing Genesis Points through his Absorption ability. This drive led him to the kitchen where he planned to experiment with various objects. He opened a cabinet and retrieved a plastic cup before heading to the fridge, grabbing a shiny red apple. With both items in hand, he laid them out on the table, ready for his first test.
David extended his hand towards the plastic cup, concentrating intently on using his absorption ability. To his astonishment, the cup began to disintegrate before his eyes. Vanishing as if it never existed at all
Suddenly, a system notification chimed in his mind:
[Host has absorbed an apple and gained 2 Genesis Points]
Although it was only one 1 Genesis Point, David felt a surge of excitement. He refused to let minor setbacks discourage him. Eager to continue to his experimentation, he focused on the apple. Once again, he stretched out his hand, visualizing the process. The apple met the same fate as the cup, disintegrating completely without a trace.
another notification appeared
[Host has absorbed an apple and gained 2 Genisis Points]
With 3 Genesis points now accumulated, David realized he still needed more to create anything Significant. Questions buzzed in his mind about the correlation between the items he would absorb, and the Genesis Points he earned. Just then, a cockroach passed by the table, he quickly grabbed his flip flops and killed the cockroach. An idea sparked in his mind, and he reached out once more, focusing on the lifeless insect
[Host has absorbed a living organism and gained 10 Genesis Points]
"Woah, I didn't expect such dramatic difference," David exclaimed, astonished by the sudden influx of points. "Hey Genesis, how does this absorption ability determine the amount of GP I get?"
[Genesis Points are allocated based on the complexity of the entities you absorb. For instance, inanimate objects like plastic cups yield minimum Genesis Points since they are relatively simple in structure and require basic materials and straightforward processes for their creation. In contrast, living organisms provide significantly higher Genesis Points due to the intricate biological systems that sustain them. Their existence necessities a deeper understanding of complex interactions, cellular structures, and the diverse resources needed for their development. In essence, the more intricate and resource-intensive a creation is, the greater the Genesis Points awarded.]
Processing this information ignited a fire within David. He needed to regain what was stolen from him and quickly began plotting his next steps. His search for items to absorb intensified as he scoured his apartment for anything else of value. He dispatched a few more flies and cockroaches, racking up a total of 30 Genesis Points before deciding to venture out to Central Park
He spent hours hunting insects, diligently absorbing every critter he could find until nightfall. Exhausted yet exhilarated, he returned home around 9 PM and settled down to review his day's accomplishments.
[Genesis Points: 300]
Content with his progress, David crawled into bed, anticipation bubbling within him for what tomorrow would bring.

Sunday: 07:00
After being fully rested David woke up fully refreshed and ready for action, David meticulously planned his day. After dressing quickly, he grabbed his emergency stash of cash which was around $20000 and stuffed it into his backpack before leaving his apartment in search of a friend of his named Seth. Who is rumoured to be involved in arms dealing. He had heard of him being around town. He travelled using the subway and went to Midtown South and walked for a while until he found the building he was looking for. Standing at the doorstep he rang the doorbell 3 times.
After a moment's pause, he rang again. This time the door swung open to reveal a young woman who was only wearing a bra and her panties her expression indifferent, this momentarily shocked David.
"What do want" the girl asked flatly
David quickly regained his senses before answering her
"My name is David, and I am looking for Seth he is a friend of mine is he here by any chance" David responded in a calm tone
She closed the door abruptly, leaving David alone for what felt like an eternity until finally, Seth appeared at the entrance.
"Well, if it isn't the god of gambling! I haven't seen you in ages David, where have you been?" Seth exclaimed with enthusiasm.
"You know living the fast life, I see you have company should I come back later?" David replied with a hint of caution
"Don't worry about her, come inside and let's catch up" Seth insisted
David followed Seth into an opulent living room adorned with expensive Artworks and furniture and had an enormous flatscreen TV. They had small chat before David decided it was time to get straight to the point.
"You wouldn't have come all this way just to have a chat, so what going David?" Seth asked, leaning in a plush sofa
"I need your help," David said urgently. "I was recently robbed so I need you to provide me with some Information and a gun I'll pay you. You are my best shot at getting this sorted"
Seth thought for a while before responding to David
he then raised an eyebrow before asking "How much did they steal for you to have to go so far as need a gun"
"Enough to die for" David responded with a serious tone
"Woah, it must have been a lot, since I owe you from last time you saved from losing my money Gambling, I'll help what information can you give me?"
David detailed everything he remembered---the description of the car and its license plate belonging to the thugs who had assaulted him. He also provided the street in which the assault took place so Seth could hack into nearby cameras to identify any faces.
After that Seth left David in the lavish living room for about 1 hour then came back with the information he had got.
"I've got good news and bad news, which do want to first" Seth asked with an enigmatic grin
"The good News" David replied impatiently
"The good news is I found the Owner of the car and even got some footage of one of the culprits he was near gas station"
"Awesome! then what's the bad news?" David pressed.
"The Bad news is that the owner of the is one most dangerous people in New York his name is Isaac Foreman he has serious connections from all over New York City, how did you get yourself in such a big mess?" Seth asked in disbelief
David cursed under his breath "Damm it! I should have prepared more for that day of course no one would like to lose that much money in a day." David spoke out
"Let me guess---this is related to your gambling? If I had to give you any advice, I would say leave the country while you still can and leave all this trouble behind because if all you think you would need to take down someone like him with a gun is crazy. I can even help you get all the fake documents you need to leave the country."
David paused to reflect but shook his head resolutely. "No, I won't run away I will solve this problem but thank you for your help and about that gun how much will you sell it for?" David asked
"Forget about it," Seth replied casually. "You're going to need it more than I will, consider it a gift"
Seth leaned in, his expression grave as he played the footage on his sleek flat screen TV. The grainy image flickered to life revealing a dimly lit gas station. David's heart raced as he saw it-- a familiar car, unmistakable in its meaning presence.
"There he is," Seth said, pointing to a figure lurking near the vehicle. As the camera zoomed in, David's blood ran cold. It was one of the thugs from that fateful night-- the brute who had knocked him down, the one who laughed as his money slipped through his fingers like sand.
David's fists clenched, knuckles whitening as he leaned closer to the screen. "that's him. That's one of Isaac's goons." Anger coursed through him like a wildfire, igniting his resolve. He remembered the fear and humiliation he felt, but now it was replaced with a burning desire for retribution.
Seth paused the footage. the screen frozen on the thug's brutish face. "His name is Boris. Lives in Queens. Dangerous piece of work, I'll tell you that much the guy basically looks like the terminator."
"Doesn't matter," David replied his voice low and steady, tinged with menace. I'll make them pay."
Seth raised an eyebrow, impressed by David's newfound determination. "You sure about this? You're diving headfirst into a lion's den."
David's gaze was unwavering fuelled by fierce determination. "I didn't come this far to back down now."
Seth reached beneath the table, producing a sleek black case with a satisfying click. He opened it slowly, revealing a fully loaded 9mm Winchester Magnum, its polished metal gleaming under the light. A silencer was attached, making the perfect tool for quiet vengeance.
"Take it," Seth said, his voice firm. "You're going to need it. Just remember-- this isn't a game anymore."
David lifted the gun, feeling its weight settle comfortably in his hand. A surge of adrenaline rushed through him as he imagined the confrontation ahead---the thrill of reclaiming his power, of turning the tables on those who thought they could intimidate him.
"I'll handle Boris," David said, a steely glint in his eye. "And after that, I'm going after Isaac."
Seth nodded, knowing that David was no longer just a victim, he was a force to be reckoned with. "Just be careful out there the streets aren't forgiving."
With the footage still playing behind them and the gun in hand David felt invincible. This was no longer about revenge. David left Seth's house ready to exact his revenge and wouldn't stop until he claimed what was rightfully his.
