At the top of a tower, Logi observed the ruckus—laughing, a dice rotating between his fingers.
"I must admit she has speed, too bad she doesn't have agility"
Logi turned to the boy with a frown suddenly carved on his features. "Shouldn't you be off doing something else?"
He hated to admit it but the boy was right, that was the first thing Logi noticed and for a split second, he thought she would pass the first obstacle.
"I'm free of chores—besides this is way more fun to watch. No one has caused a stir like this" The boy grinned smugly, revealing two missing teeth.
"Whatever" Logi waved his hand dismissively.
"How's your hand? The skin weaver did a good job right?" he asked worriedly as he stared at his bandaged right hand.
The way Logi clenched it close to his chest told him he still felt the pain despite having it fixed.
"I'm fine, Cai," he replied, distractedly.
