Chapter 15 - Party (2)

As we arrived home, I noticed my mom tidying up the living room, her usual routine keeping her occupied. A wave of excitement washed over me, compelling me to share our news. "Mom! You need to stop what you're doing and come with me!" I exclaimed, unable to contain my enthusiasm.

She paused, a curious look on her face as she dried her hands on a dish towel. "Where are we going, Aryan? Is everything alright?"

"Everything is more than alright! Just trust me, okay?" I urged her, my heart racing as I called the movers to arrange the transfer of our belongings to our new house.

"Alright, lead the way!" she said, playfully trying to decipher my cryptic excitement.

With Aladdin secure in my backpack, I took my mom's hand, leading her out of the house and hired a cab. The ride was filled with the thrill of anticipation, the wind rustling her hair as she listened to my rambling tales about the new beginnings we were stepping into.

When we were near the house, I turned to her with a wide grin. "Okay, close your eyes. I want it to be a surprise!"

Mom raised an eyebrow but complied, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth as she trusted my intentions. I carefully guided her to the front door, her steps cautious and curious.

"Alright, open your eyes!" I said, stopping right in front of the house.

As she blinked her eyes open, I watched the mixture of confusion and realization wash over her face. The spacious villa stood magnificently in front of us, bathed in the late afternoon light, flowers blooming around it, and the inviting porch beckoning us closer.

"Aryan... this...is ours?" Her voice broke as she stepped forward, absorbing the beauty of our new home, tears welling up in her eyes as joy overtook her expression.

"Yes, Mom!" I declared, practically bouncing with excitement. I had kept this secret, hiding the fact that we could predict the future in our endeavors, but this joyous surprise felt like enough to share.

"Oh my! I can't believe you did this!" she gasped, covering her mouth with her hands as she took in every detail. "This is unbelievable!"

Mukund, standing beside me, wore a broad grin. "And we've got movers coming to help shift your things. This place is going to be lit with laughter and love!"

Mom scanned every nook and cranny of the house, her eyes glistening with tears of disbelief mixed with joy. "I'm so proud of you, Aryan." Her voice trembled as she looked at me, as we didn't have good comfort fro the time my dad got missing.

I felt a swell of warmth in my chest, knowing I had truly done something special for her. My heart raced, fueled by the exhilaration of our shared success and the happiness spreading across my mother's face, as this is most mom's wish, although i will achieve much more in life than this for my mom this is a big achievement for her to be feeling proud.

"We're going to make this place a home," I said, taking in the high ceilings and spacious living room that seemed ripe for memories waiting to be created. "And you'll have a garden to tend to, Mom! We can grow flowers, just life when dad was there." shit i slipped my tongue.

"Let's go inside!" I urged, as i didn't want her to feel sad at this moment, mom nodded and entered the house. We stepped inside, immediately greeted by the sunshine pouring through large windows, bathing the living space in a warm golden light.

"I never knew a place could feel so welcoming," Mom said, her eyes softening as she wandered from room to room, absorbing the open layout.

Laughter filled the air, creating a tapestry of happiness that enveloped us in the space. It was infectious, and I found myself daydreaming about how we would turn this house into our sanctuary, a space where every corner echoed laughter and love.

"Aladdin, you'll love it here too!" I said, suddenly remembering my little companion nestled in my backpack. Gently, I pulled him out, and he promptly stretched, arching his back and letting out a soft yawn.

Aladdin made his way to the open window, slinking past my mother and Mukund, and hopped up to the sill, gazing at the view outside. "This is like a castle! MEOW!" he declared, standing proudly with his chest puffed up, as if claiming his new territory.

"Indeed it is! A castle for royalty," I chimed, laughing at his excitement. "Get ready to rule the kingdom, as we have much more to do!"

...........

{as we arranged every thing inside the house it was night, mukund returned his house, the next day we had a house warming party and my first success of earning. after everybody came from my classmates and my mom's colleague's and also some of our family friend's who didn't cut their ties after what happpend } make a party atmosphere of house warming ceremonyThe sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over our new home as the day of our housewarming celebration dawned. Excitement buzzed in the air like static electricity, filling every corner of the villa—a mixture of adrenaline and joy permeating throughout. I could hardly contain my enthusiasm, knowing that today would mark an important milestone in our lives.

I flattened down the vibrant tablecloth that covered the large dining table, adorned with colorful dishes that Mukund and I had worked tirelessly to prepare. Freshly baked pastries from the nearby patisserie sat beside homemade snacks, the tantalizing aromas wafting through the house, making my stomach rumble in anticipation. The kitchen was filled with clattering pots and pans, each creating a rhythm that harmonized with the lively energy of the evening.

"Do you think we have enough food?" Mukund asked, tossing a handful of tortilla chips into a bowl and glancing at the spread we had set out.

"More than enough! We'll have leftovers for days, and that's the dream," I chuckled, bustling around to ensure everything was set. "Plus, we have drinks! You can't have a proper party without drinks!"

Aladdin roamed around, darting between guests' legs as the sun began to dip further, ready to light the night with a plethora of twinkling stars. I caught him pouncing on a stray ribbon that had escaped from all the decorations we'd pulled together earlier in the day. His antics continued to draw laughter from every corner of the gathering.

As our guests began to trickle in, the atmosphere transformed, enveloping us with warmth and joy. My classmates, Mom's colleagues, and family friends filled the living room; it became a vibrant tapestry of laughter and chatter that resonated throughout the villa. The space felt alive, the very walls absorbing the sense of belonging that enveloped us.

"Aryan! This place is amazing!" one of my classmates exclaimed, his eyes wide with admiration as he examined the colorful decorations strung across the ceiling—radiant paper lanterns nestled above the dining area, interspersed with twinkling fairy lights that glimmered like stars.

"Thanks, man! We're just getting started," I replied, my heart racing at the warmth in their voices.

Mukund jumped in, "And wait until you taste the cradomet! Aryan's magic meal will blow your mind!"

"Magic?" someone chimed, crossing their arms dramatically. "Areyou saying we'll get powers from it?" Laughter erupted among the guests, muddling together in a happy chorus that drifted through the house.

As the clock struck six, the doorbell rang repeatedly, indicating our neighbors had decided to drop by. A few more familiar faces—I couldn't help but feel a wave of gratitude wash over me. These moments were what I had envisioned when I first laid my eyes on this new house.

"Welcome, welcome!" I called out as I swung open the door, greeted by our neighbors, all beaming smiles and cheerful greetings. "We're so happy to see you!"

They brought with them a beautiful array of plants—gifting us not only with well wishes but also with vibrant greenery that could liven up any room. "A housewarming gift from all of us!" one neighbor declared, handing over a potted monstera with elaborate leaves that danced in the soft breeze that filtered through the open door.

"Thank you so much! This is perfect!" I exclaimed, placing the plant on the table where it could add life to our gathering. With every new arrival, the atmosphere became more vibrant, laughter echoing through the hallways, harmonizing with the soft music playing in the background.

As we settled down, I watched my mom move around, chatting animatedly with her colleagues. For the first time in a long while, I saw her truly at ease, her laughter mixing effortlessly with that of our friends. A sense of accomplishment washed over me; we had created a space where everyone could feel at home.

"Alright, partygoers!" I shouted, guiding their attention toward the table laden with food. "Let's start this celebration with a feast! Come grab a plate and dig in!"

The guests surged toward the buffet-style spread, filling their plates with delectable treats while excited chatter filled the air. I stood at the edge of the table, feeling a mix of nostalgia and thrill as I watched everyone enjoy themselves.

After some time, I decided it was time for the next part of our celebration—the toast. "May I have everyone's attention, please?" I called, raising my glass. Silence fell over the room, and all eyes turned to me.

"I just wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for being here today. This house means so much more than just the walls and floors; it represents a new beginning for my mom and me. We've worked hard to create a home filled with love and joy, and we look forward to fillingit with wonderful memories alongside all of you."

A ripple of applause followed my words, and I felt a swell of gratitude. "Here's to new beginnings, friendships, and amazing adventures ahead! Cheers!"

"Cheers!" the room echoed, and glasses clinked together, the sound echoing happiness and shared experiences yet to unfold.

Mom beamed, her eyes glistening as she raised her glass. "To Aryan—my wonderful son who always strives to bring joy into our lives."

The room filled with laughter and warmth, and at that moment, surrounded by friends and family, I felt a sense of hope blossom in my heart.

As the night wore on, stories were shared, and the air crackled with joyous energy. Music played softly in the background, its rhythm inviting a few guests to break out into a dance across the living room.

I watched Aladdin as he darted between guests, soaking in the attention and a few well-earned scratches. It felt like he was relishing this newfound joy as much as we were.

Soon enough, laughter erupted again as guests challenged one another to various games. "How about a dance-off?" one classmate suggested, earning cheers of agreement.

Ali, the owner of the most famous pizza joint in Lohita, shouted, "We need judges! Aryan and Mukund, you're up!"

Everything felt surreal as we stepped forward to take our roles in this spontaneous celebration. Judging the dancing duel between friends wasn't something I'd expected, but I was ready for the challenge.

As each contestant took their turn, showcasing their best moves, dissolved into fits of laughter. Accents of jovial banter filled the air, causing the tension of our past tribulations to fade into mere memories. Each step back we took was another step forward; every laugh shared echoed the fact that we were finally moving on.

Amidst all the excitement, I caught my mother's eye. She looked radiant, her smile bright and genuine, and it warmed my heart to the core. Moments like these solidified my belief in the essence of home.

As the dance-off transitioned into a new game—charades—our living space buzzed with exhilaration. I couldn't stop grinning. This was what it meant to create a home—a place woven with connections, laughter, and love.
