Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Crazy Ashborn Descendants

An unknown force seized control of Elias's body, freezing him in place. His surroundings turned into a blinding white void as a strange force pulled him.

The strange sensation stopped just as abruptly, and Elias found himself in an entirely different place. The airstrip had vanished, replaced by an unfamiliar landscape.

"Teleportation?" He frowned as he looked around him, noticing that the person who had brought him here was nowhere to be seen.

He was surrounded by a vast, circular hall that seemed to stretch into infinity. There were huge pillars spread across the hall that were so tall that he couldn't even see their end.

He didn't understand why these pillars were even here, since there was no ceiling. It was as if they were supporting heaven itself.

High above, he saw a blood red sky, where black thunder flashed occasionally. It was a scene that felt like it came straight from some nightmare, but he wasn't alone here.

There were more youngsters in the fall, with the youngest being twelve years old, and the oldest being the same age as his bastard brother.

Unlike him, the other youngsters were perfectly calm, even as they were suddenly teleported to this place.

"Is this the place of awakening?" Elias thought. He had a lot of questions, but he couldn't see any adult in the place to answer him.

He selected the person closest to him, and tried to approach him to ask more about the ceremony.

Roarr~

Suddenly, there was a loud roar that came from heaven. Through the clouds, a giant creature flew out, revealing its body that was even longer than the airship.

Calling that creature a monster was only an understatement. Elias was frightened, subconsciously taking a step back, stumbling over his feet, falling to his butt.

Many youngsters saw Elias fall on his back. Sneers curled their lips as they looked down on the idiot who was so easily scared. A few could even be seen laughing, but most ignored him, their attention fixed on the pillars instead.

Only one boy, slightly older than Elias, approached him.

"Hey, are you alright?" he asked, offering a hand to help Elias up.

"Thank you," Elias mumbled, reaching out. But just as their fingers were about to touch, the boy stepped back, frightened.

His eyes widened in horror, fixed on Elias's chest where the insignia of the Ashborn family gleamed.

"Ashborn Family?" he gasped, his voice ringing out across the hall, drawing the attention of everyone nearby.

"A child of Ashborn?" The people who had been snickering, turned extremely serious. The name of the Ashborn Family carried heavy weight, especially since their bloodline was considered a peak destructive bloodline.

The Family Head of the Ashborn Family was considered one of the few Overlords of the Era that even the Royal Family had to respect.

The Eldest Son of the Ashborn Family had also made a name for himself in the Thousand Slaughter Battlefield, receiving many awards.

The fourth child of the Ashborn Family was the weakest when it came to talent, but even he was a Virus Master that had passed his practical in just three months.

They had heard that the fifth child of the Ashborn Family was going to attend the Academy, but they didn't expect to find him so soon.

Even the people who were focused on the pillars were forced to take a second glance at the boy that everyone was laughing at.

Elias shook his head lightly, forcing himself up, not expecting any more help. He finally understood what his servant meant, when talking about the influence of the Ashborn Family.

Although they hid it very well, he could see fear in the eyes of most of the youngsters. There were only a rare few that were looking at him with great interest.

"I-i am sorry." The young boy, who had tried to help Elias, lowered his head.

He didn't expect to get involved with an Ashborn. Even worse was that he was so shocked that he couldn't control his actions and stepped back. He wasn't sure if he had offended an Ashborn.

He still hadn't forgotten the stories about the Ashborn Family after all. The most well known was the story about the Eldest Son of the Ashborn Family, who had killed everyone in the Destroyer Class.

No one even knew the reasons behind his actions. Many families went to ask the Ashborn Family to take responsibility, but the incident was buried without any consequences.

The Second Son of the Ashborn Family was just as crazy, if not more. He had killed a Professor of the Creator Class, to show off.

As if continuing the family tradition, the Third Son of the Ashborn Family had gone one step beyond. Instead of killing the people at the academy, he had killed the entire family of the academy student that had offended him.

After all that, he took that student as his personal servant. After graduation, no one knew the fate of that servant.

The only person who could be called slightly normal was the fourth Ashborn child. Although he bullied those who were weaker than him, he hadn't done anything too crazy.

Finally, one more Ashborn had arrived in the Dimensional Academy.

Was he going to be like his fourth brother, who was strong for the weak and weak for the strongest? Or was he going to be like his first three brothers, an absolute overwhelming psychopath? That was the question in everyone's mind.

Although his initial impression was that of a coward, none could be certain about the reality. Was that cowardice a false facade? Was the boy playing a pig to eat the tiger? That seemed more likely.

Why else would an Ashborn be scared of the Beast of the Academy, when the Ashborn Family had even worse chaotic beasts.

'An Ashborn in our batch, huh. This is going to be fun." A young boy smiled, looking at Elias. Even though he was thousands of feet away from Elias, he could still see him clearly.

"The youngest Ashborn. Should I kill him right here?" A girl in another direction frowned.
