"This is... the land of fables?" Elias felt like he had walked into an entirely different world the moment he stepped out of the forest.
There was no sun or moon in the sky. There were not even clouds. Still, the world was filled with light, as if it were the middle of the day.
Right outside the forest, he also saw the skeleton of a giant, a creature beyond recognition. The skeleton was so huge, that even if it was lying on the ground, it was still hundreds of feet high.
The skeleton seemed to have been there for centuries to have deteriorated to this point. But the thing that intrigued him even more was a sword stabbed into the skull of the skeleton.
If it was right outside this forest, then many from the previous batches of the Destroyer Class would have passed through this place. Yet, the sword was still there. Was this a trap? Or did they not think that the Sword was useful? Or could they not take the sword for some reason?
