FALLING FOR THE UNEXPECTED

Lena's pov
As soon as I got home, I flopped down on the couch and pulled out my phone. I needed to talk to someone, and Kamva was the first person who came to mind.
I dialed her number, and she answered on the first ring. "Hey, girl! What's up?"
I took a deep breath and launched into the whole story – Ntando, Ntsika, the job, the feelings... everything.
Kamva listened attentively, making supportive noises and asking questions. When I finally finished talking, she let out a low whistle.
"Girl, you've got drama!" she exclaimed. "But seriously, what are you going to do?"
I sighed, feeling overwhelmed. "I don't know, Kamva. I like Ntando, but there's something about Ntsika that draws me in. And what if I'm just reading too much into everything?"
Kamva's voice was calm and reassuring. "You need to take a step back and think about what you really want, Lena. Don't worry about what might happen or what others might think. What does your heart tell you?"
I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath. What did my heart tell me?
"I don't know, Kamva," I admitted. "I'm all confused."
Kamva laughed. "Well, that's okay. You'll figure it out. And in the meantime, I'm here for you, girl."
We chatted for a bit longer, and by the time we hung up, I was feeling a little more clarity. I knew I still had a long way to go, but with Kamva's support, I felt like I could face whatever came next.
