Richard pov

'What do you mean u want to break up with me, babe you can't do this, I love you I will do anything you want pls don't do this, I said tearfully begging desperately trying to hold her arms.

'Dont touch me', Kyla said with a disgusting look on her face like I was trash, which caused people around her to laugh.

'Am sorry babe,it was a mistake I promise I would never do such a thing again, I really love you', I said pleading despite the humiliation.

'blah, blah,blah, I love this I love that, I don't freaking care, and you can't even get me what I want and you clame you love me who does that, and you see this thing you call a relationship, it was all a bet', she said smiling.

'what!!!', I exclaimed in disbelief "what do you mean by this is all a bet" I asked, confused.

'oh yeah, you see,.... me and my friends bet that if I could get you u fall in love with me and then break up with you I would get a lot of cash and a nice house too, so I thought why not, besides you liked me didn't you? She said happily with an evil smirk on her face.

'what!! so it's true, why Kyla what did I ever do to deserve this', I asked admist pains, I held my chest which was beating violently.

"oh trust me you do alot actually, you look like a little dog begging for his treats,who knew the school's hearthrob could be so soft to the point of crying for a woman". She said.

'hahaha' she and her friends burst into laughter while taking pictures of me and then left the cafeteria.

I just stood there bewildered not knowing what to do or say, I just couldn't let her go like that I loved her so dearly, tears fell down my cheeks as I looked at her retreating figure.

Just then I began to hear rumors round me it's seems like the whole school had gathered to watch the scene, I felt so humiliated but nothing felt worse than my hurting heart, which had been broken beyond repair, just then I summoned the courage to leave I ran out likei was chasing someone and then went to the boys locker room.

Looking at myself in the mirror, with one hand on my chest, my disheveled clothes, red eyes and a bruised face which Kyla had slapped earlier when I touched her looked so swollen and red, I just couldn't believe she would do this to me. I trusted her so much that it hurt so bad, Just then my head started spinning and I fell down the last thing I remember was someone rushing into the washroom yelling my name as I passed out.

Diamond high school

Sasha pov

I was just about to get place my tray on the table when someone beat me to it, I just smiled, even without raising my head to look at the person I already knew who would have the nerve to do that.

"Hey bestie, how's my favorite girl doing?", Lucy said after taking a seat next to me, and then took a doughnut out of my tray, I just chuckled 'everytime' I said to myself, she always does that claiming it to be her way of showing her love.

"Hi Lucy, am doing great, you?, I asked.

"Am doing great", she said cheerfully, "but it's just this stupid physics project Miss Emily gave me it's giving me an headache she said faking a sad look, I just chuckled, I knew she was trying to get out of doing her project by makingg me do it for her.

"Um I think I could help you with tha...,"

I was saying when she suddenly engulfed me in a tight hug.

"Oh thanks babe", she said still hugging me tightly.

"You're welcome", I said trying to break free from the hug.

"So where were we", she asked after finally letting me go.

I was about to say something when I spotted someone walk into the cafeteria with her little minions like stupid dolled up barbie solders behind her.

As they walked in the leader which is Selena gave us both death glares.

Selena was Lucy's rival they were the top famous people in the school and they challenged each other to see which of them is going to be the most popular, wealthiest student and the highschool queen bee.

"I so hate them",Lucy said as she glared back at them not backing down.

"Lucy!" I shouted giving her a glare.

"Fine I dislike their characters", Lucy said reluctantly.

"I just can't believe she would go to any length just to surpass me", she said with a disgusting look.

"Can you believe she locked me in the girls bathroom when I was getting ready for the audition last month and then told everyone that I couldn't come cause I was sick, but thank God luck was on my side, that someone pased by the bathroom that day and heard my cries if not I would have been stuck in the there for a day, she said angrily.

"Am sorry, I wasn't there to help", I said sadly.

"It's ok that's in the past now", she said.

I knew Lucy was talking but I wasn't listening because of what I saw unfold right now.

"Sasha, hey are you listening to me, what are you staring at she asked as she turned to look in the direction I was looking at then she gasped.

"OMG isn't that Jake that who just kissed Selena on the lips, but I thought you guys liked each other", Lucy askedall at once with a shocked expression.

I just couldn't say anything, I just stared at them in shock and confusion, 'but Jake liked me', I said to myself.

"Sasha please don't be sad ok, ....don't let her see you like this I don't want her to think she is winning", Lucy said sadly.

"Am fine, if he wants to be with Selena, then so be it",said with an expressionless face and turned back to my lunch and began to eat.

Lucy sighed and just turned back to her food.
