Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Aldora Takes Flight

"Tsunda, since I can buy literally anything from the store, do you think there's something that lets me take someone's class for myself? Even if it's just a one-time thing?" Zach asked, his eyes gleaming with a spark of mischief as an idea formed in his mind.

"Sure, darling," Tsunda replied with a sweet smile, completely unaware of the icy glare Aldora threw her way.

"Perfect." Zach grinned, feeling a rush of excitement. Without missing a beat, he added, "If there are enough points, get me an automatic tracker too. Even if it's single-use, I need one that can track this girl—no, guy."

Tsunda didn't need a soothsayer to figure out what Zach was plotting. Without hesitation, she dove into the store, quickly scanning through options. The moment she finalized the purchase, the dungeon core—a small, glowing cube—flared with brilliance. In an instant, two items materialized before it.

With practiced ease, Tsunda retrieved them and handed them to Zach, carefully explaining their functions and how to activate them.

Finally Zach exhaled, a determined glint in his eyes. "Aldora, We're going after that guy-girl."

Although this will be his first combat experience since the guy girl wouldn't easily let him take his class away, Zach was none the less prepared.

Aldora's eyes gleamed, her lips curving into a delighted smile. "As you wish, Master."

Without hesitation, she unfurled her wings—black as the abyss yet glowing faintly with an eerie violet hue. A gust of wind kicked up around them as her majestic wings stretched wide, each feather laced with the power of the underworld. Before Zach could react, she scooped him up effortlessly, cradling him against her chest.

It took a full second for Zach's brain to register his predicament. His face was buried directly in the softest, most divine place a man of culture could ever dream of—her breasts.

Oh... oh my god.

A wave of pure, unadulterated bliss washed over him. Was this what it meant to achieve peak existence? To be held in the embrace of a goddess-like woman, enveloped in warmth, softness, and a faint scent of lavender?

He grinned like a fool.

Aldora, feeling his breath tickling her skin, smirked down at him, her crimson eyes glowing with mischief. "Master," she whispered, tightening her grip slightly, "if you wish to take me right here in the sky… I wouldn't mind."

Zach's soul nearly left his body the moment he heard those shameless words. His face burned hotter than a furnace, and he instinctively turned away, coughing violently. "W-We're on a mission! Focus!"

It was unknown if he was saying those words to Aldora or his junior brother who almost woke up from sleep.

Aldora giggled, a mix of sweetness and dark amusement. "Yes, Master~"

Then, with one powerful flap of her wings, they shot into the sky like a missile. The sheer force of the ascent nearly knocked the air out of Zach's lungs. The wind howled around them, cold yet exhilarating. His clothes flapped wildly, and he could barely keep his eyes open from the intensity.

Unwillingly, and with a heavy heart, he lifted his head from its heavenly resting place to glance down below. What he saw was sobering.

The world beneath them was a graveyard of human civilization. Ruined buildings, abandoned factories, crumbling roads… Nothing but remnants of a lost world stretched endlessly before his eyes. No signs of human life outside the towering fortresses dotting the landscape in the far distance.

"What's the reason for that bigshot to turn earth into such state?" Zach mutters absent mindedly.

Crawwwwwwwww!

Before he could dwell on it further, a sharp screech cut through the sky.

A flock of monstrous creatures emerged from the swirling clouds—thirty of them in total. These things were nightmarish, their forms like oversized vultures, yet their flesh was, how should one way it, fleshless? revealing dark, pulsating veins beneath their skin. Their eyes burned with a sickly green glow, and their elongated beaks dripped with black ichor.

Zach's breath hitched. "Uh… Aldora, we have a company here?"

Zach didn't finish his words as another screech echoes. The flock split apart, maneuvering in eerie synchrony before diving straight at them with murderous intent, it was like they have done this countless times due to how precise they were.

"ALDORA, DO SOMETHING!!"

She responded with a chuckle—an amused, borderline ecstatic chuckle.

"My, my, Master… you sound so desperate. It's cute."

Still holding Zach tightly, she drew one of her twin swords with a single, fluid motion. With her left arm securing him possessively, her right arm slashed outward in a deadly arc.

The first wave of beasts never even reached them. A burst of dark purple energy flared from her blade, cutting through the sky itself. The creatures screamed as their bodies were split apart in an instant, their insides dissolving into black mist.

More came.

Aldora twisted midair, maneuvering effortlessly as she weaved through the swarm. She was fast—unreasonably fast. Each beat of her wings sent light waves through the sky, each slash of her sword left trails of destruction.

Zach, on the other hand, was struggling not to throw up with how Aldora keeps spinning on air.

A shadow passed overhead.

His instincts screamed—danger!

One of the beasts had slipped through Aldora's rampage, its talons stretching towards him.

Panic seized Zach's chest. His body locked up. Shit! He was going to die!

He was gonna die a virgin!

No! He mean a half virgin!

But just then, Aldora moved.

With a growl that sounded more demonic than human, she crushed the bird's skull with a single, brutal punch with her sword aside—while still holding Zach close. Black ichor splattered across the sky, raining down like cursed ink.

Her grip on Zach tightened. Her breathing was heavier, her pupils dilated with fury. "You… almost touched him."

It was like something dark swirled around her the moment Zach's life got threatened, making her unleashed hell.

With a single, monstrous flap of her wings, she blitzed through the remaining enemies. Each strike was merciless—bones cracked, flesh was sliced apart, creatures exploded into mist.

She held Zach close all the while.

When the last monster perished, Aldora exhaled sharply, her expression still twisted in lingering rage. But as she looked down at Zach, that darkness melted away, replaced by a loving—yet unsettlingly intense—smile.

"Master… you're safe."

Zach, pale and sweating, nodded weakly. "…I know, but I think I need a drink."
