Synopsis
In a kingdom on the brink of war, Yan Jiangri, the Emperor's daughter, is caught in a dangerous game of politics and emotion. Her mission to sabotage the Han Kingdom's supply lines brings her into direct contact with Lin Shaungwei, a ruthless commander who has his own ambitions. The two share a tense, complicated relationship, one where trust is fragile and betrayal looms. Jiangri "You know better than anyone that war is not a game. It is lives lost for every move we make." Lin "Sometimes, sacrifices are necessary for victory." Wenji "You don’t have to carry this burden alone. You know I’m here for you, always." Emperor "The Han forces grow stronger each day. I need you to join General Shaungwei and sabotage their supply lines." Lin "Ready for this, Your Highness?" "I’ve been ready for far worse than this," Jiangri replies, her voice cold. "You were never more than a pawn in my game, Jiangri. I used you to get what I wanted." --- As the mission unfolds, Jiangri is forced to confront Lin's true intentions. The tension between them escalates, leading to betrayal and the destruction of what little trust was left.

Chapter 1 - Description

The Yan Kingdom was not vast, nor was it small. It basked in gentle sunlight, with ancient, graceful architecture and breathtaking landscapes of golden farmlands. The legendary Yanliyo River, a symbol of life and myth, flowed through its heart.

On a spring morning, when blossoms filled the air with delicate fragrance, the Yan Kingdom triumphed over its invader, the neighboring Han Kingdom. Princess Mingye of the Han Kingdom became the queen of the Yan Kingdom's crown prince, uniting the two lands. But unity came at a cost—one that lingered like the shadow of a fading sunset.

"Shaungwei, I curse you. Your entire cycle of rebirth will drown in the sorrow of my tears."
