Chapter 1 - The Introduction

---

My Name is Jay

My name is Jay, and I'm 24 years old. I am currently unemployed and spend most of my time sitting at home. This has caused a lot of frustration for my family. They want me to find a job and start working instead of staying idle,

and I can't blame them. They're right—I can't continue like this forever.

I, too, want to change my situation. I want to find a job, earn money, and contribute. So, after much deliberation, I finally decided to actively search for work. However, finding a job proved to be far more challenging than I anticipated. I visited many places, spoke to countless people, and submitted applications wherever I could, but nothing seemed to work out.

After a week of persistent searching, I finally found a job. It wasn't exactly my dream role, but it was a start—a security guard position at a hospital called Wellness Hospital. I was genuinely excited.

This job would keep me busy, allow me to earn money, and give me a sense of purpose.

But as I prepared for my new role, I started hearing strange and unsettling stories about the hospital. According to rumors, wellness hospital was haunted. People claimed that a female spirit roamed the balconies at night. What's more, I learned that over ten security guards had quit their jobs before me.

Allegedly the spirit had terrified them so much that they left without a second thought.

The stories described the spirit as a women seeking revenge, but no one seemed to know who she is or why she wants revenge and against whom, Despite these rumors. I resolved to focus on starting my new job and not let such stories distract me.

The First Day Of My Job

My first shift was the evening - to - night shift. Everything seemed normal at first. At 9 PM. I began patrolling the hallway.

The hospital was quiet, and there was nothing unusual.

But as the clock struck 10 PM, things started to change. I began hearing strange sounds and whispers. As if they were inside my head. I tried to dismiss them, thinking it was just my imagination, however, as the night went on the atmosphere grew increasing eerie.

I started feeling a presence, as though someone was watching me. My instincts told me to look around, but I saw nothing until i did.

In the dimly lit corner of the hallway I noticed a shadowy figure. It was human-like and seemed to be a women. At first, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I stared harder, trying to convince myself, it was just a shadow or a figment of my imagination

But then, I saw her face. Her skin was pale, her eyes were unnervingly white, and her long hair hung loosely, obscuring fear grilled me.

Unable to bear I start to walk away, but as I walked I feel her presence again following me. I speedup in fear but her presence was getting closer and closer eventually I manage to rushed to the security room, locking the door behind me.

Breathing heavily, I checked the CCTV cameras, hoping to confirm what I had seen, but the figure was gone. There was no sign of her. I sank into a chair, trying to process what had happened. Was it just a hallucination fueled by the stories I'd heard? Or was the legend real?

I stayed locked in the security room for the rest of my shift, too afraid to venture out. And I decided to call my parents from my phone but they weren't picking up. Then I tried to contact with the officials of this hospital and the result was same, none of them answered my call, So I just sat down on the chair silently.

I went to the security cameras, and looked at every footage. I saw the same figure standing in the hallway staring dead into the camera, my heart was stopped for a moment by wetnessing such a horrifying figure.

I felt like she was staring at me right throw the camera, I was scared to death but immediately the spirit vanished from the hallway and she was nowhere to be found.

I sat down on the chair and question myself saying "Where have I put myself into? I am not even married, ohh lord save me...I said

I stayed in the room until 4 AM. When the morning light brought some sense of safety.
