Here's how the final chapter can look:
Chapter: The Final Act
Mingma stood in the darkened chamber, his breath shallow as the oppressive weight of Kumari's curse bore down on him. The once faint eye-shaped mark on his arm now glowed with an ominous intensity, pulsating like a heartbeat. He clutched his chest as pain radiated through his body, the curse eating away at his very soul.
He had come so far—surviving the trials, entering the academy, and defying odds stacked against him. Yet, no amount of training, no amount of power gained, could undo the ancient malice that had been etched into his being.
"Kumari…" he muttered, falling to his knees. His vision blurred as the shadowy tendrils of the curse wrapped around him, sapping the last of his strength.
As his life flashed before his eyes, he thought of the friends he had made, the battles he had fought, and the dreams he had dared to dream. He had always known his path was not an easy one, but he hadn't expected it to end so soon.
"I wanted… to become stronger…" Mingma whispered. His voice was barely audible now, but his resolve never wavered. Even in his final moments, he did not regret the choices he had made.
The curse flared one last time, consuming him entirely. The light in his eyes dimmed as his body crumpled to the ground. Silence fell upon the chamber. The only trace of Mingma left was the faint echo of his unyielding spirit.
Author's Note
Thank you, dear readers, for staying with me on this journey. I began this novel as a way to learn and improve my writing, but I realize now that there were many areas where I fell short. This was my first attempt at creating a full-fledged story, and while it was far from perfect, it taught me invaluable lessons about storytelling and perseverance.
I've decided to end this novel here, as I want to take the time to refine my skills and deliver a better experience in the future. I will be focusing on writing fanfiction for now, where I can hone my craft and gain more experience before embarking on another original work.
To everyone who read, supported, and gave feedback—thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope to return with stories that are not just better written but more meaningful and impactful.
Until then, thank you for everything, and I'll see you again in my future works!
With gratitude,
The Author
