 🌌 🌠Crash! 💥 💥 🕳️ 💨 🕴️
Lucian was traveling through space like a falling star, then he crash landed on a novice world.Â
Dust was flowing everywhere, he couldn't see anything until the dust settled down. He emerged from a hole in the ground.Â
He sees him in a big field with nothing there. As far as he can see only grasslands. Behind him were mountains very far though.Â
System sound comes to his mind. Ding!Â

...….
WTF.... What's happening to me? What is this ??? God system. Where the hell am I ?Â
What happened to me earlier. I was fixing my spaceship then suddenly, I got hit by some kind of light and I lost my consciousness.Â
"I can't remember anything else."
I have skills and they are locked… Now I have to do some missions. I don't get it. Let me think about what happened earlier.Â
Lucian sat on the edge of the crater, staring at the massive hole his crash landing had carved into the ground.Â
The once-pristine landscape was now scarred by smoldering earth and broken vegetation, a reminder of the chaos that had brought him here.Â
Smoke curled faintly into the air, carrying with it the acrid scent of scorched soil and melted metal. At the center of the hole, something gleamed dully in the waning sunlight, an object that immediately caught his attention.
Curious, he slid down the loose dirt and crouched next to the metallic shard embedded deep in the crater. It shimmered with an otherworldly glow, a strange mix of silver and iridescent blue that shifted under the light.
"What the hell is this?" Lucian muttered to himself, reaching out hesitantly.
The metal was cool to the touch, impossibly smooth, and heavier than anything he'd ever encountered. He braced himself and tried to lift it, straining until his muscles screamed in protest.
"Damn, it won't budge," he grunted, stepping back to examine it further. "What kind of material is this? I've never seen anything like it, not even in the Federation's top research facilities."
The shard felt ancient yet advanced, a paradox in design. It might hold answers to his predicament or be nothing more than a relic of this strange world. Either way, Lucian couldn't do anything with it now.
He straightened and dusted off his hands, frustration bubbling under the surface. His thoughts drifted back to the system that had been thrust upon him earlier. Before he could process much more, a familiar sound rang in his ears.
> Ding! New Daily Mission:
Run 10 kilometers
Drink 2 liters of water
Lucian frowned at the translucent screen hovering before him. The words glowed faintly, urging him to take action. Yet instead of tackling the tasks, he sank to the grass just outside the crater, knees pulled to his chest.
He let out a deep sigh, staring at the sky painted with hues of orange and pink. His thoughts drifted far from the tasks at hand, back to his family.Â
His family's warm smile. His mother contagious laughter. His sister's curious eyes as she bombarded him with endless questions. The ache in his chest deepened.
"How am I supposed to get back to them?" he whispered, his voice trembling.
The loneliness of this alien world pressed down on him like a weight. No familiar faces. No guidance. Just this damn system dictating his every move.
> System Notification:
"Host must complete at least one daily mission before the day ends.Â
Failure to do so will result in punishment: Lightning Strike."
'The words jolted him upright.' "Wait, what? Punishment? Lightning strike?" Lucian's voice rose in disbelief. "You're telling me I'll be fried alive if I don't do some chores?"Â
"Are you serious right now?"
The system offered no response, only a faint pulse in the glowing text.
"I... I can't believe this," he muttered, running a hand through his disheveled hair. "Do I have to run or drink water? But where the hell am I supposed to find water? There's nothing around here except dirt and rocks."
His body already ached from the crash landing. The thought of running 10 kilometers made his legs feel even heavier.
"If I run, I might collapse," he groaned. "But if I don't, I'll get zapped by some cosmic taser. Great. Just great."
After several minutes of frustrated muttering and pacing, Lucian finally made his decision.
"Fine! I'll run," he said, throwing up his hands. "But don't expect me to enjoy it."
Lucian started his run around the crater, keeping the mysterious shard in his peripheral vision.Â
He didn't dare stray too far; the thought of encountering hidden dangers in this unknown land sent shivers down his spine.
At first, his steps were steady, the adrenaline from his frustration pushing him forward. But as he covered the first kilometer, his body began to protest.
Sweat poured from his brow, soaking his shirt and stinging his eyes. His breath came in ragged gasps, and each step felt heavier than the last. The gravity of this planet seems higher than earth.Â
"Damn it... I'm already dying here," he panted, glancing at the system screen to track his progress. "One kilometer down... nine to go. This is insane."
Huff Huff!
The world around him seemed to blur as exhaustion set in. The crash had left him bruised and battered, and now he was pushing his body beyond its limits. His pace slowed with each passing minute, his feet dragging across the uneven ground.
By the fifth kilometer, the orange sun had dipped below the horizon, casting the landscape in shadows. The faint glow from the metallic shard illuminated the crater, acting as his makeshift landmark.
Lucian's legs wobbled, his vision swam, and his lungs burned with every breath.
"This system is trying to kill me," he muttered, stumbling forward. "If I don't die from running, I'll die from exhaustion."
Despite his complaints, he pressed on, driven by sheer stubbornness and the fear of punishment.
By the ninth kilometer, darkness had fully enveloped the landscape. The only sounds were his labored breaths and the faint rustling of the wind through the alien foliage.Â
He felt completely alone, save for the system's persistent reminders.
> System Notification:
 "One kilometer remaining."
Lucian gritted his teeth, pushing his legs to keep moving. His muscles screamed in protest, and his vision narrowed to the path ahead.
Finally, he stumbled past the 10-kilometer mark, his body giving out as he collapsed onto the ground.
> Ding! Daily Mission Completed:
Run 10 kilometers
Strength: + 1
Reward: 5 EXP
Lucian barely registered the notification. He was too exhausted to care. The grass felt soft beneath him, and the cool night air was a small comfort against his overheated skin.
His last thought before slipping into unconsciousness was simple:
"This place is hell."
The system's screen dimmed as Lucian drifted into a deep, dreamless sleep, the mysterious shard gleaming faintly in the distance.
