Chereads / Alpha Galaksi / Chapter 6 - Beautiful Sight

Chapter 6 - Beautiful Sight

"See you soon." Interrupting her, Galaksi turned around and left without giving her a chance to retort.

Kezla stomped her foot in anger. "Why is my day full of a nuisance? I already had an annoying brother, and now I encountered a pervert."

Galaksi reached the room where his assistant was waiting for him. When Uncle Reed saw his cousin came back with a smile, he felt surprised and wanted to know the reason behind the expression. He resisted the urge to comment and opted to remain silent,

On the other side of the restaurant.

Anne was waiting for her friend after she was done deciding on the menu and making an order. She thought, 'It's been quite a while since she left. Is there any problem?'

No sooner had she thought of this than she saw her friend arrive, her face burning with rage.

As she reached the table, Anne asked, "Why are you so red? Are you angry about something?" Before her friend could say anything, Anne continued with her usual logical thoughts. "Wait! Are you having your periods?"

Sitting down on the chair, Kezla warned, "Bestie, don't piss me off now." Pressing her temples, she mumbled to herself, "It was worse than my period. I hope it never happens again."

Anne observed her and commented. "A person always looks relaxed after relieving themselves, but you look angry, so I thought you had your period suddenly and didn't have sanitary napkins with you. Do you want me to bring some for you?"

"Stop uselessly bringing up this topic. You and my period, both are the biggest headaches of my life. I wish I could stop both of you from annoying me." Her voice raised in anger.

"I can't ensure that I will stop, but you can stop your period," Anne said calmly, scratching her head with her index finger, unaffected by her friend's anger.

"How do I do that?" she asked, anticipating her crazy friend to stop . But it was all an illusion.

"Remove your ovaries and the whole system. No ovaries, no periods!" She said as if he was giving her the best solution.

"And no kids, either. Who is gonna produce a baby for me in the future? Will you help me?" She asked her mockingly. "Although the last time I checked you are a Cardiologist and not a Gynecologist."

"I don't need your overboard solutions." Saying, she looked out of the glass wall that allowed one to see outside and looked like something had caught her attention.

Anne followed her sight and noticed what she was staring at. As he was about to say something, a waiter entered and served their food. Soon, the table was filled with delicacies.

"Anne, didn't you order too much for the two of us?" Kezla asked as she surveyed the table full of dishes.

"Nope!" Anne shook her head and continued, "I know the endless depth of your small tummy. Do you know how much you eat? I always wonder where you store all the food. You never get fat, either."

"I'm blessed with a good metabolism," Kezla said, smiling as she started to dig into the tasty food in front of her.

The food was finished within a short period of time as the two were starving and couldn't resist the delicious treats in front of them. The food was too delicious to give them scope to think about anything apart from their growling stomachs. Neither of them uttered a single word as they ate their food. After finishing the meal and paying, the two got out and stood at the exit, waiting for their car to arrive.

In the private room of the same hotel...

Galaksi and his Uncle were also done and walked outside the private room. Reaching the exit,

As Galaksi waited for his car, he saw the two friends standing at the other side of the door, conversing.

While the one looked annoyed, the other had a huge grin on her face. The two noticed Galaksi staring at them and Galaksi offered them a light smile then slid into his car when it arrived.

Kezla was observing the dress on the mannequin in the shop across the road. She had been doing this since lunch and as they came out, still she was doing it.

"Don't look at it. That's not for you," Anne commented, his eyes fixated on the dress.

"Why?" she asked still observing the dress.

"That dress is meant for girls with C's and D's. Yours are no more than B," Anne replied, her gaze fixed on Anne's chest.

Realizing where her friend was looking and what she mean she frowned. " You-" Of course, she was at a loss for words as this matter was sensitive for any woman.

"My words are true." Anne watched her reaction with a smile.

"You know what? Even if you are my friend, I feel like killing you with my bare hands. How could you say something like this to your best friend?" Her eyes were full of killing intent.

"It doesn't matter if you are my friend or not; I am a doctor and talking about the body of others is natural for me. Do you know the best part?" he asked.

"What?"

Anne paused for effect as she looked into her eyes, intent on teasing her. "I am too shameless."

Kezla was rendered speechless. Knowing that nothing could affect her blatant friend, she gritted her teeth and contained her anger. She would have got the dress but she was tired to her bones to do so and rejected the idea.

As she thought of this, her gaze fell on a familiar figure. The man from the washroom was looking at her. Anne followed her gaze. The other only smiled and slid into his car.

"Wasn't that the guy from the airport who you blessed with your angry gaze and curses?" Annelooked at the car that pulled away from their sight.

"Yeah!" she said, annoyed.

"Don't you think he looks quite hot?" Anne asked contemplatively.

"Really? I don't think so," she retorted lightly.

"He seems to be rich. Look at his expensive car."

"Whatever." She brushed her off.

Their car arrived, and Anneput all the shopping bags in the trunk. She forced Kezla to sit in the back and ordered the driver, "Wait for me at the intersection ahead. I will be there in fifteen minutes."

"Where are you going?" she asked, making space for Anne to sit next to her.

"Personal business. I'll be back soon." Anne closed the door and signaled the driver to move.

Inside the Maybach...

Galaksi was reading some documents Giving out a deep sigh, he folded the papers and gazed out of the window. Touching the corner of his lips with his thumb, he recollected the moments when his lips brushed against hers.

Uncle Reed, who was sitting in the front seat, looked at the rearview mirror. Much to his surprise, he saw the smiling Galaksi thinking about something. It wasn't a simple smile; he showed off his pearly white teeth for the first time. It was an eye-catching and beautiful sight.
