Chapter 4 - Hidden Inventory

=Japan, Okinawa=

Geto and Gojo were now at a hotel for just one night with two other companions. The young girl's name is Amanai Riko, and her personal maid's name is Kuroi Misato.

Gojo: Sheesh, sensei casually extended our stay before leaving.

Geto: Any other news?

Gojo: *Rubbing his neck* Yeah... Y/N is joining us on this mission.

Geto's eyes widened upon hearing the news about Y/N suddenly joining them. This might be his chance to meet Y/N because he had never met him face to face, only knew his name. Gojo was also excited to see him.

Riko joined in with curiosity.

Riko: Who is coming?

Geto: *Smiling* Our senior is on his way to join us, more help is on the way.

Kuroi: *Confused* I thought the two of you would be enough?

Gojo: If our sensei is sending another Special Grade Sorcerer like us, then there must be a really big problem with this mission.

Kuroi nodded, understanding.

Riko: So, does that mean we have many days left before leaving?

Gojo: *Nods* Yup!

The young girl was excited as she thought about all the fun she would have visiting the places she wanted to see. The maid was very happy to see her excitement.

Gojo: *Yawns* Well, you two better get some sleep while Geto and I keep watch in case someone tries to attack.

Both girls nodded before heading to their respective bedrooms. Gojo leaned on the window, keeping watch in case any Curse Users attempted to assassinate them. As for Geto, he sat in a chair near the door to guard it.

[The next morning]

The four of them were at a western-like restaurant, ordering breakfast and waiting for Y/N's arrival. After deciding on their orders, they handed the menus back to the hostess, who bowed respectfully.

Riko: What time is he supposed to arrive?

Gojo looked at his flip phone.

Gojo: Right about..... Now!

The hostess at the front door opened it and greeted the customer with a cheerful smile, bowing respectfully.

Hostess: Welcome! Would you like to take a seat?

Y/N: Yes, I'm looking for my juniors, the guy with the bright white hair.

The hostess nodded and gestured for him to follow her to where his juniors were seated. Once he saw the white hair, he immediately bowed thankfully to the hostess for showing him where they were seated.

The four of them turned their heads to look at Y/N approaching with a smile. Geto and Gojo moved to the side, making space for Y/N to sit.

As Y/N sat on the sofa with a smile on his face.

Y/N: Hi, nice to meet you all. I'm Y/N L/N, but this is the first time we've met, including you two boys.

Riko and Kuroi looked at the two boys, who just shrugged.

Upon closely observing his appearance, the young girl noted that he was a pretty decent guy compared to Gojo. However, something bothered her - his curse energy didn't show up when he arrived. This observation was shared by the others.

Gojo (Thoughts): Weird, I can't even sense his curse energy.

Y/N: You must be Amanai Riko. Don't worry, your expiration date has not arrived yet. Rest assured. *Smiling*

Amanai chuckled at the way he spoke to her, while Kuroi shook her head and smiled. Gojo and Geto held back their laughter. Y/N raised his hand to get the attention of the hostess, indicating that he wanted to order breakfast for himself. He looked at them with a grin.

Y/N: Don't worry, I'll pay.

Gojo and Amanai cheered at him for offering to pay for their food.

[Somewhere else]

On the rooftop, a tall, muscular man with mid-length straight black hair that reached his ears and a scar on the corner of his right lip was present. His name was Fushiguro Toji, the infamous assassin known as the Sorcerer Killer. He yawned and looked bored, although he enjoyed the warm breeze hitting his skin, which kept him somewhat less bored.

Toji: This is troublesome...

Another man appeared on the rooftop and approached Toji. He was an average-built man with short black hair that was longer on the top than on the sides and back. His name was Kong Shiu, a handler for Curse Users who mediated for Toji.

Kong: Any problems? You seem to be a little troubled.

Toji: Hmm, someone has disrupted our plan. There's a guy who casually joined and is helping them escort the bounty. Although I don't have any issues with the other two kids from Jujutsu High, especially Gojo Satoru, I mainly have a problem with that guy..

Kong: *nods* So, what are we going to do? Do you have any better plans?

Toji: *Shakes his head* No, just stick to the plan. As for the other guy, we might as well take him down in the final line.

With that said, they both went back inside the building.

[Fast forward]

They were now at the arcade, with Gojo and Geto engaged in a competition playing a fighting game, while Y/N and Riko played casual games. Kuroi watched them with a smile on her face, enjoying seeing Riko having fun.

Riko: *Worried* Are you sure you're going to spend your money just for us?

Y/N: *Smiling* It'll be fine. Besides, money is not really a problem for me anymore. What's more important is that I want you to have some fun before we leave. So don't worry about my money and just focus on enjoying yourself.

Riko sighed in relief and smiled upon hearing his words. The fact that Y/N was willing to do that for her was truly heartwarming and showed his kind heart. She really wanted to know more about him.

Riko: So, do you have any siblings?

Y/N: I do, actually. I have a half-sister, that's all I have. Our parents passed away for unknown reasons.

She was shocked to hear that his parents had passed away, leaving only him and his half-sister.

Riko: I'm really sorry to hear that. It must be hard to live without parents.

Y/N: No, no, don't be. That was a long time ago. My mom taught me that I must move on if my parents died. *Looking down* At first, it was hard to let go, but after several years, I eventually moved on. Now, I'm a responsible brother taking care of my sister.

Riko immediately hugged Y/N without hesitation, tears streaming down her cheeks. This surprised him, but he hugged her back nonetheless.

Gojo and Geto stopped playing when they heard their story, while Kuroi listened from the back.

Riko sniffed as she let go of the hug, looking at him with a bright smile. Y/N smiled back and patted her head before they continued playing their games.

[Timeskip]

After visiting many places, they were now taking a break at the hotel. Geto carried the sleepy Riko to bed, while Kuroi went to the bathroom. Gojo and Y/N were on the balcony, feeling the cold wind on their skin. Geto came over and leaned on the rail next to Gojo.

They didn't seem to have much interaction with each other as they had been spending their time with Riko. An awkward silence lingered without either of them saying anything.

With a sigh, Gojo spoke to Y/N.

Gojo: Hey, how does it feel to be dating Tsukumo? Did things get spicier? *Grinning*

Y/N laughed and shook his head, amused by Gojo's question.

Y/N: Well, there are a lot of interesting things. Just normal dating like in the TV shows.

Geto joined the conversation.

Geto: Is there a reason why sensei sent you here? I mean, I know there may be problems, but the two of us would be pretty good at handling ourselves on this mission.

Y/N: Well, I've known sensei for the past 3 years, so I trust his instincts. Who knows, there may be stronger opponents waiting for an opportunity to strike at Riko.

Geto nodded in understanding.

Gojo: *Grinning* Say, after this mission, want to have a sparring competition?

Y/N: *Laughing* I knew you were going to say that, but... what will the winner get?

Gojo: Simple, if one of us wins the fight, they get the title of The Strongest Sorcerer.

Y/N: And what about the loser?

Gojo: *Smirking* The loser will be called The Loser Sorcerer.

Y/N: Alright, it's a bet. Just don't complain if you lose.

Gojo: Oh yeah, I bet you can't get past my Infinity.

And so they both started arguing like toddlers, much to Geto's disbelief at what he was witnessing that day.

=Churaumi Aquarium=

Visiting the aquarium was the last place Riko really wanted to go. She stepped in front of the glass, turning her body as she walked along, watching the different sea animal species. The ambiance was filled with the sounds of two whale sharks and the blue light of the sea highlighted her. Riko's eyes were focused on the sea animals, and her body felt so relaxed just by looking at them. Her breathing was steady as the world seemed to slow down.

Suddenly, she turned her head and saw Y/N standing in front of the glass, watching, but his view was different from hers. He stayed in the shadow away from the blue light of the sea. Y/N turned his head and saw Riko standing there, looking at him with her bright smile, to which he also smiled back. They stood facing each other before turning back to continue watching the sea animals.

The silence never bothered them because they were mesmerized by the different fish swimming everywhere. Finally, Riko spoke up to him.

Riko: Y/N, have you ever thought about... dying?

That question from her wasn't really surprising for Y/N. Many had asked that question, including his sister. That question still lingered in his mind, and he had never given an answer before. But this time was different.

Y/N: Hmm...

Riko: *Stuttering* F-forget what I said earlier, let's ju-

Y/N: You know, it's really hard to answer that question, but I think I have... I have...

Riko widened her eyes, surprised to hear what Y/N answered, yet she smiled as tears came out of her eyes.

Riko: You're a really wonderful person, Y/N. It was... very beautiful what you said, and I think I know why.

Y/N: *Smiling* Cherish your moments while they last, you really need them.

And so, they ended their last moment of visiting. It was time to leave and escort her to Tengen.

=Tokyo Jujutsu High, Foothills of Mt. Mushiro=

The group had finally reached their destination, setting foot on top of the hill after climbing through endless torii gates. Riko was catching her breath, and Kuroi took out a handkerchief and gave it to her. Riko smiled at her maid and accepted it to wipe the sweat off her forehead.

Geto: We're inside Jujutsu High's barrier now.

Riko: What a relief.

Kuroi: *Smiling* Indeed it is.

Y/N: Here, take this.

Y/N handed a water bottle to Riko, who accepted it gratefully.

Riko: *Smiling* Thank you so much, Y/N.

As for Gojo, he stood there quietly with his hands in his pockets, looking down, until Geto called out to him.

Geto: Satoru.

Gojo: *Looks up* Hm?

Geto: *Smiling* You're really working hard this time.

Gojo looked annoyed and glared at him, then he switched off his Infinity.

Gojo: *Sigh* I never want to get stuck babysitting a brat again.

Riko, after wiping her neck, became annoyed at for calling her a brat.

Riko: Huh?

Time seemed to slow down as Y/N sensed that something was not right upon their arrival. His eyes were able to catch someone moving very fast as a blur, heading towards Gojo.

When time returned to normal, Gojo found himself in a different position, next to Geto.

Gojo: *Confused* Wait, what just happened? Why am I next to Geto!?

He looked at Geto, who had a shocked expression on his face. When Gojo looked at the other girls, they had the same reaction as Geto. Finally, he looked at Y/N, but to his shock, his eyes widened as he saw Y/N being thrust by a katana right through his back, through his chest.

Geto (Thoughts): Impossible! We're inside Jujutsu High's barrier.

Toji: *Clicked his tongue* Shit, I missed that strike.

Y/N turned his head and glanced at Toji behind him.

Y/N: You think I wouldn't notice that you were quick enough to strike at my junior. You should think twice before attacking him *Grinning*

Toji: *Grinning* Well, aren't you the cocky one who said that.
