The moment Leviathan made his move the vampire leader was shocked. Like a lightning dragon Leviathan moved and ripped half of his people into two. No one could resist his might as he killed half the vampires in the manor.
"You're running out of people," Leviathan said, his voice low and threatening tone as his eyes glowed with brutal red light that made it look like his eyes was filled blood. It carried the promise of annihilation, and the leader finally began to understand the monster he just angered. It wasn't just any monster, was a beast that even monsters fear
The vampire leader clutched at his chest, where Leviathan's earlier strike had shattered during his short rampage. He coughed, blood spilling from his lips, but he still clung to his arrogance. "You think this changes anything? You can't kill us all, Leviathan. We are endless."
Leviathan stepped forward, his shadow stretching across the blood stained floor. "Endless?" he said as his wings came out of his back ripping his shirt in the process and his eyes glowed faintly in the manor as all other light dimmed in the hall. "Shall we test that theory?"
Sophia placed a hand on his arm, her touch soft yet firm. "Leviathan, stop. We need answers, not more bodies."
His gaze shifted to look at her from the coner of his eyes, and for a moment, the red light in his eyes flickered. But it wasn't enough to sway his anger. "They've already made their choice, Sophia and I won't ask again."
The vampire leader groaned, dragging himself upright. "Fine," he spat. "I'll tell you. She's alive...for now. I'm not certain they are planning on keeping her alive"
Leviathan's wings shifted, the feathers sharpening into deadly edges. "Where is she?"
The leader hesitated, his looked at the only few remaining vampires cowering in the shadows in fear. They were trembling, their confidence complete crushed from Leviathan's rampage. "A convoy," he finally admitted. "Heading south, to New Orleans. But if you think you can save her—" He couldn't complete his words due to fear as Leviathan gaze turned to him
"Who told you to do this?" Leviathan's asked in a voice that was sharp, demanding. The vampire leader refused to speak and Sophia stepped forward, her voice firm but steady. "Who's behind this? Who ordered you to take her?"
The leader hesitated, his eyes darting toward the remaining vampires for support. "It was a demon… a woman named Clarisse. She came to us weeks ago, offering protection and resources in exchange for our help."
Lotan rolled his eyes at the mention of Clarisse. "Of course, it's her. She's always meddling."
Leviathan's expression darkened further, his glowing eyes narrowing. "You're telling me you've aligned yourselves with demons? You've doomed yourselves."
The leader stepped back, fear etched on his face. "We had no choice! She's powerful. We couldn't refuse."
Leviathan took a step closer, and the leader flinched. "You've betrayed me for her. Now you'll live with the consequences."
Sophia grabbed Leviathan's arm, her touch gentle but firm. "Levi, focus. We know where Alice is now. We need to move before it's too late and besides he isn't your underling"
He glanced down at her, his gaze softening slightly. With a sharp nod, he turned to Lotan. "Get the car ready. I'll handle the rest." Leviathan said and he took of into the air
"Seriously, what about me" Sophia said and Lotan smirked at her "You have done what you can, leave the rest to us" Lotan said before he disappeared leaving Sophia alone with the vampires "Damn the both of you bastards" Sophia screamed in frustration before she turned back to look at the vampires.
One by one the vampires began to come out of the shadows with growing confidence "I'll advise you guys not to act on your current thoughts" Sophia said as she brought out a dagger from her boot. Immediately the first vampire attacked and before he could come near her, the necklace she wore glowed with a blue light as a shield was created around her and the vampire flew backwards at a speed faster than when he attacked "I guess this will be fun for me. I finally get to operate on a living vampire" Sophia said with a smile as she brought out another dagger and attacked as another side of her which no one has seen was shown
As Leviathan and Lotan moved through the woods they spotted a convoy of black SUVs up ahead. "That has to be them!" Lotan said and Leviathan flew downward and immediately slammed his feet on the front of the car last in the convoy
Leviathan soared above the convoy, his glowing wings lighting up the night sky. He swooped down once more and this time he tore the lead vehicle into two and he stood in the ground this time around and stretched his hands forward. Immediately the front the car touched him he was thrown backwards
Leviathan stood up from the ground stunned "Hell iron?, How did a demon like Clarisse husband get his hand on this amount of Hell iron" Leviathan said before he moved again and this time his hands where already claws and he pierced the car's engine once he slammed his hands on the cars front
Lotan arrived as ice spikes erupted from the ground and the car tires were frozen and unable to move.
The demons guarding the convoy reacted quickly, leaping out of the vehicles to confront him.They were massive, hulking figures with horns and glowing red eyes.
"You picked the wrong target," Leviathan growled, his voice echoing with power.
The first demon charged at him, swinging a massive axe. Leviathan dodged effortlessly, countering with a blast of red destruction energy that sent the creature flying into the trees. The second demon was faster, striking at Leviathan with sharp claws and he was instantly killed by one of Lotan's spikes. "Go and save Alice, leave this creatures to me" Leviathan said and Lotan nodded before he moved to the car where Alice was held hostage
The battle turned intense but was short has despite their numbers Leviathan ended the life of everyone of them
"Something is wrong" Leviathan said as he moved closer to Lotan."I know, it was to easy" Lotan said as he looked around warily and just right then a portal opened and two demons came out.
"Baron level demons" Leviathan said with a frown while the chains in the demons' hands glowed with an eerie, dark red light as they crackled with hellfire. Leviathan's eyes narrowed as he calculated his moves. He knew these weapons weren't ordinary as they had been crafted for one purpose: to restrain him.
The first demon lashed out with the chain, and Leviathan sidestepped, the weapon grazing his arm. Pain erupted instantly as the chain ripped through his usually impenetrable skin. His blood, dark and thick, glistened under the moonlight.
Lotan, standing near the car with Alice, was just as stunned. "Leviathan, the chains are injuring you!" he shouted both in worry and surprise shielding Alice from the residual shockwaves of the battle.
Leviathan growled, his voice deep and resonant. "I'm aware of that fool, it's my skin after all" He darted forward, his claws elongating as he slashed at the first demon's chest, sending it staggering back.
The second demon took advantage of the moment, swinging its chain toward Lotan and Alice. Lotan raised an ice barrier just in time, the chain shattering it upon impact. The explosion sent shards of ice flying, but Lotan held firm, wrapping Alice in his arms.
"You focus on Alice!" Leviathan bellowed. "I'll handle them!"
The first demon snarled, raising its chain to strike again. This time, Leviathan didn't dodge. Instead, he surged forward, grabbing the chain mid-swing. The hellfire seared his hands, but he held on, pulling the demon closer. With a loud and frightening roar, he drove his claws deep into its chest, tearing it apart in one swift motion.
The second demon hesitated but quickly retaliated, its chain swinging in a wide arc. Leviathan leaped into the air, his wings propelling him higher. The chain narrowly missed him, scorching the ground where he'd stood.
Landing with a thud, Leviathan extended his wings, blocking the demon's view of him for a short moment. When he folded them back, his appearance had changed—his hands had transformed into razor-sharp claws, his teeth had elongated into fangs, and thick black hair now covered parts of his neck and shoulders.
The demon froze, clearly unnerved by the transformation. "You... you've started to gain your strength" it muttered, its voice trembling.
Leviathan smirked, though his expression was far from comforting. "You have no idea what I have gained demon."
He lunged at the demon, moving faster than before. His claws slashed through the demon's chain, severing it. The creature let out a howl of rage but didn't retreat. Instead, it summoned hellfire, its hands glowing as flames erupted and surged toward Leviathan.
Leviathan raised his wings to shield himself, the fire licking at his feathers but failing to penetrate. With a roar, he launched himself at the demon, his claws raking across its chest. The demon staggered but managed to swing what remained of its chain, landing a direct hit on Leviathan's side.
The impact sent Leviathan crashing into a tree, the bark splintering under the force. Blood dripped from the wound, staining the ground beneath him. Lotan took a step forward to attempt to help him , but Leviathan held up a hand. "Stay with Alice!, Don't take your focus of her" he barked, struggling to his feet.
The second demon snarled, its confidence returning. "You are still weak, Leviathan. The present you can't defeat me"
Leviathan wiped the blood from his mouth, as an angry expression spread across his face. "How dare a Baron demon like you call me weak, who have you the courage." He said with pride and anger in his tone
With a roar that shook the forest, he surged forward once more, his claws tearing through the demon's defenses. The battle was fierce, but Leviathan's sheer ferocity began to overwhelm his opponent.
Finally, the demon stumbled back, its body covered in deep gashes. It looked toward the broken remains of its partner and then at Leviathan, who stood tall despite the injuries infliced on him by the chains. Deciding it wasn't worth the risk, the demon stepped back, a portal appearing behind it.
"This isn't over," it growled before retreating into the portal, disappearing into the void.
Leviathan exhaled heavily, his wings folding back as his body began to revert to its human form. He turned to Lotan, who was still shielding Alice. "But for now It's over," he said, though his voice was weaker than before.
Lotan frowned, noticing Leviathan's unsteady stance. "Are you sure? I don't you could have come out of that battle unscathed."
Leviathan waved him off. "I'll be fine, the injuries will heal really quick. Let's just get Alice out of here."
But as he took a step forward, his vision blurred. His legs gave out beneath him, and he collapsed to the ground.
"Leviathan!" he heayLotan shout, rushing to his side.
Alice stirred, her eyes fluttering open as she took in the scene. "What's happening?" she asked weakly.
Lotan knelt beside Leviathan, checking his pulse. "He's... he's alive, but something's wrong."
Alice looked at Leviathan, her eyes filled with concern. "We need to get him home." and a ball of water cover them and they disappeared before appearing in the penthouse pool
"Quickly, get him inside and place him on the couch " Alice said as she swarm out of the river and Lotan quickly placed him down
Soon the elevator opened as Sophia walked in covered in Vampire's blood. Immediately she saw Lotan she be am angry "How could you too just leave me with a bunch of blood sucking creatures" Sophia shouted and Alice raised her head up before she spoke "Sophia" Alice said and Sophia eyes widened in surprise "Alice" She said and it was then she noticed something was off
"Where is Leviathan" Sophia asked and Lotan pointed at the chair and Sophia eyes widened as tears gathered in them "How did this happen" Sophia asked her voice cracking "I don't know, I have no idea" Lotan said
