After hearing Aaron's words, Unohana Retsu couldn't help but become more serious.

She found it hard to comprehend how the seemingly unassuming young man before her could match her strength—a feat few had ever achieved.

Unohana knew her power better than anyone. As a battle enthusiast, she couldn't help but respect the opponent standing before her.

"Captain Unohana," Aaron said with a calm smile, "I have a suggestion. Would you care to hear it?"

"Say what you want. Don't waste my time—I'm here to fight," Unohana replied, her expression quickly hardening as she regained her composure.

Aaron sheathed his blade at his side and spoke evenly. "Since we seem evenly matched, let's call it a draw for today. Both of us need to grow stronger if we are to truly challenge each other. What do you think?"

Though her warrior's heart craved more battle, Unohana acknowledged the wisdom in Aaron's words. The intensity of their clash had given her much to reflect on.

"The next time I seek you out, it will be to defeat you," Unohana said resolutely. She gave Aaron a final glance, turned, and departed.

Aaron shook his head with a slight smile before heading back to his residence. Thus, the first encounter between the two came to an inconclusive but impactful end, leaving behind only a battlefield in ruins.

Back at his quarters, Aaron began to reflect on the duel, analyzing his performance and pondering what he had gained. He understood his weaknesses clearly. If not for the abilities granted by his "All-Knowing and All-Powerful" technique, he might have been overwhelmed early in the fight.

From the moment their swords clashed, Aaron had activated this unique power—not just to anticipate Unohana's moves but to study and internalize her impeccable swordsmanship.

Though this iteration of Unohana had not yet fully embraced her fearsome nature as Yachiru Unohana, her talent in kendo and combat skills was undeniable. Aaron considered himself fortunate to face such a formidable and promising opponent.

While Aaron was not a bloodthirsty individual, he wasn't altruistic either. His primary goal was to use his ability to learn and adapt the techniques of powerful adversaries. Unohana provided an ideal opportunity—a warrior of "limitless potential" who could teach him while also serving as a challenge.

His ambitions were clear: to master combat techniques with precision, maximize their effectiveness with minimal Reiatsu expenditure, and, eventually, achieve unparalleled strength.

Over the past three years in the Bleach universe, Aaron had cultivated significant Reiatsu, especially after acquiring his unique system. However, he realized that defeating weaker enemies no longer provided any meaningful gains. The system's rules dictated that only foes with equal or greater Reiatsu could yield worthwhile rewards.

Determined to grow stronger, Aaron began practicing in the backyard of his residence. He suppressed his Reiatsu entirely, relying only on physical strength as he repeatedly swung his sword with precision.

"Swish…"

"Swish…"

"Swish…"

The blade moved in a deliberate rhythm, striking the steel block before him. Yet, despite his efforts, the iron showed only shallow scratches.

"Cutting steel with pure strength alone is difficult," Aaron mused, inspecting the worn blade in his hand. "But it's not impossible. I just need to keep going."

His thoughts wandered to a concept from an anime he had watched in his previous life: the idea that everything has a "breath." Living beings, stones, steel—everything possessed a rhythm or flaw that, if discerned, could be exploited.

If he could sense the "breath" of an object and strike at its vulnerability, perhaps he could cut it effortlessly—even with a wooden sword.

Eager to test this theory, Aaron activated his "All-Knowing and All-Powerful" ability once again, focusing intently on the iron block before him.
