Scene 1: The Offer
The next day, Elliot tracks down Amara, determined to speak with her again. She's back at her bookstore, reshelving books when she hears the chime of the door. Her heart sinks when she sees him—a figure too sharp for this quiet space.
"I'm not here for books," Elliot says with a playful smirk. "I'm here for you."
Amara bristles. "I don't perform."
"I'm not asking you to perform," Elliot counters, sliding a business card across the counter. "I'm asking you to create with me. There's something in your music that can't stay hidden."
Amara hesitates, the weight of her violin case still lingering on her mind.
Scene 2: Amara's Dilemma
Later that evening, Amara shares the encounter with Mina. "He's insane," she says, pacing her living room. "I can't work with someone like him."
Mina shrugs. "Or maybe he's exactly the kind of crazy you need to get out of this rut."
Amara looks at her violin case, the card still tucked inside.
