"What happened?"
When Light sent this message to Elise, it took a while for a message to come back, the classic ellipsis constantly appearing and disappearing.
It was as if Elise was afraid to explain to Light.
"Is it something that requires me to come?" Light suddenly sent another message, and with that, suddenly his phone rang.
Elise was calling him.
Light hadn't wanted to call his sister or anyone else because of the bad reception of the phone networks, but since Elise was calling him on his phone, he had to talk.
When Light answered her call and put the phone to his ear, he asked again:
"What happened?"
After Light's question, Elise's voice finally came:
"I have good news and bad news for you, Light."
"Let's hear the bad news first." Light suddenly said, and with that, Elise's deep breathing was heard on the other end of the phone and the answer came immediately afterwards:
