When Light came out of his room's ceiling, he saw that even the solar panels and the roof of the house were completely covered with snow, which activated Light's Sub-Space ability. Light continuously ran his hand over the snow, literally digging through it like a mole.
After only a dozen seconds, the fact that he had completely pierced through the snow had suddenly cast a red light in his eyes.
The sudden stinging of his eye and the fact that he was wearing transparent sunglasses were almost simultaneous.
However, Light could only see the tall trees on the horizon and the shapes of those trees that were not buried under the snow.
However, as far as his eyes could see, he could see zombies moving in the distance, and it worried him that they had come so close to his house on top of all the snow.
That's why Light, who had taken out the snowmobile from his Sub-Space, placed the vehicle on the snow and got into the vehicle.
He placed two pistols on the ground on the inside of the vehicle and tied three hunting knives to the belts above his right and left knee respectively, and immediately tied the other hunting knife to his waist.
With this, killing zombies would be very easy for him.
Although not much snow had fallen, Light could feel the cold. He didn't expect to encounter such a cold the moment he left the house.
He didn't think it would be this bad when the temperatures dropped drastically as the 6th month of the apocalypse approached, when the cold was at its worst, from the 3rd to the 4th month. At least that is what he remembered.
When he took out the fast thermometer and looked at the cold, he saw -37 degrees Celsius. It was a deadly cold, he was very lucky to have heat packs everywhere and even the snowmobile he was sitting on had a heating system.
It was possible to freeze to death in only 20 minutes in this cold.
The fact that it was much less cold than the cold before he returned to the past seemed to indicate that something had changed with his return to the past.
Of course, this made him question himself how much more he did not know.
Nevertheless, he must have thought that it would be better to forget everything right now and take care of the zombies that started to approach him, so he immediately took out one of the pistols he had put in the interior of the vehicle and took a hunting knife in his hand.
He immediately got out of the vehicle and stepped on the snow like a marble marvelled at how hard the snow was and started moving towards the zombies.
He used his Inspection skill on the zombies as he moved towards them and noticed the slight changes in them:
[Level 1 Zombie
Health - 24/24]
[Level 1 Zombie
Health - 17/17]
[Level 1 Zombie
Health - 30/30]
He was relieved that these three zombies only had different health values, he wasn't sure he wanted to deal with zombies above one level at the moment.
Still, the prospect of levelling up with these zombies made him extremely ambitious. This, of course, led to the firing of the gun:
"BANG!!!"
The bullet had hit the zombie's shoulder and the shaken zombie had fallen to the ground, the fact that its life value had disappeared seemed to indicate that it was dead, which meant that there was no need to kill zombies - at least level one zombie - by shooting them in the head.
Still, Light remembered clearly that before he travelled back in time before the news was interrupted, the only weak point of zombies was their skulls and the brains inside. Zombies took longer to die unless they were beheaded or shot in the head.
Light was able to kill the zombie with only one bullet, even though this bullet did not hit the zombie in the head. This meant that the life value he saw was only an advantage for Light.
This excellent information provided him with a lot of strategic knowledge. This alone could win many battles in the future.
After shooting one zombie, Light, who had held his gun towards the other, fired another shot without waiting, and the sound of the gun immediately disappeared in the snow.
When the zombie fell to the ground, it stopped moving because this time the zombie would not survive, Light managed to shoot the zombie right in the head, either by luck or by the advantages of his training.
When he fired his third shot, the last zombie did not die and continued to move towards Light after a small concussion, which meant that zombies or mutant zombies whose life was not reset would continue to live anyway.
When the last zombie died after a short shot, it was all over.
Light, who easily realised the improvement in his shooting skill, took a deep breath because he could not see more zombies, and then got back on the snowmobile.
Light, who started the vehicle, started to move forward as soon as he gave gas to the vehicle and the journey started at that very moment.
Then he felt his whole body relaxed in a very comfortable way as if all the fear and adrenaline had been renewed or, in other words, reset.
Even though Light was happy to think that he might have levelled up, he still didn't want to stop the vehicle again for no reason and check the system, instead, it would be much better for him to proceed until he reached the point of completing his journey.
That's why he increased the speed of the snowmobile and started to continue his journey.
He could feel the cold hitting his face. Although he wore three layers of clothing and two berets on his head and tried to protect himself from the cold by covering his eyes and the rest of his face, there was no way he could withstand the cold approaching -50 and in some places even exceeding that level so well.
This seemed to explain why he was trying to move so fast, he could feel that he was very cold even though he had heat packs in his clothes. At least it had stopped snowing, that was a plus, right?
