Chapter 2 - The Goddess of Love, Sex and Fertility.

Akira didn't know how long he'd been running for, but by the time he stopped, the sun had set and it was dark out.

Crouching down and gasping for breathe, Akira wiped the sweat that was dripping from his head and shook his hand to shake it from him.

"Finally," Akira barely managed to get out. "I think I've finally lost it. I can't believe that thing chased me for so long. I thought I was done when I ran into that goblin camp. Or even worse, when that troll looking thing saw me and started to chase me as well. It was fast for something so big.

And here I was thinking that I'd get some cheat and be able to take out anything. Why can't life ever just be simple. Just once," Akira said as he got himself back up.

"Bloody Hell, I need to figure out what to do. I have no knowledge of this world except there's a forest and monsters. And it seems to have a day and night cycle, nothing revolutionary.

Going from the games I've played, this must be a starting area of sorts because there's some type of flickering lights everywhere that illuminated the whole forest."

Akira was talking about the small dots that seemed come appear out of nowhere and give light to all the creatures of the forest. Upon further inspection, he realised they were actually tiny creatures with wings.

"Hello," He tried to get the attention of one of the creatures but it completely ignored him as it just floated by.

"Rude," He commented but what he couldn't see was that the creature was actually dead. They were dryads, guardians and inhabitants of the forest. When their true form died, the dispersed and became tiny bulbs of light until their bodies regenerated 1000 years later.

If he had known this, he'd have been terrified more than he was as dryads were regarded as the children of the nature goddess and immensely powerful beings. Whatever could kill this many off them was not to be trifled with. Especially not by some reincarnated fat guy with no cheat.

"At least there's some light around. Even if they are ignorant. Wait, what's that over there?" Akira asked as he noticed that ahead of him, there seemed to be lights that was more densely connected.

"Oh well, I'm in the middle of a forest with no gear, no cheat, no hope. I might as well investigate. I've already died once, no point in being scared of death."

As he said this, he began to walk quicker towards the lights. It made no sense as to why he would, but it was as if something had pulled him towards the lights. As he got closer, he felt the need to protect, but protect what he wondered.

"What the..." Akira was cut off by the sight. When he got close, all the lights seemed to float quickly away from him. What was left was a dimly lit patch of grass and a beautiful naked woman lying unconscious on the ground.

He knew from video games that her not moving and being naked in the cold likely meant she was the victim of bandits and left for dead, so he logically should leave in case those bandits are still nearby. Despite him being a logical person, he couldn't shake the pull he felt to this woman.

Maybe it was the sight of her being vulnerable, or maybe his male instincts when he saw a naked girl this gorgeous, but he felt some unnatural desire to protect her. So despite every bone in his body telling him to go in the other direction, he walked over to her, took of his suit jacket and placed it over her. He gave her a slight nudge to try and wake her up but as he touched her skin, he felt a warmth envelop him.

Every part of his beings, physical and spiritual, felt complete and satisfied at the touch of this woman's smooth skin. It was as if he'd been granted every wish and desire he could ever want and all that satisfaction was transformed into pure, physical bliss.

The feeling within him was so great that his attempt to wake her up was nothing more than a weak tap on her shoulder. Despite this, the woman he thought might have been dead began to move slightly as her eyes fluttered open.

Looking into her opened eyes, it was easy to tell that the urge to sleep was still strong in her as she rubbed her eyes and yawned loudly.

"Hello, who would you be?" She asked as if waking up to a strange man sitting over her naked body was something common for her.

She stood up, not realising that the jacket covering her private areas would slip off as she was standing before Akira completely naked, unbothered by this mans gaze on her.

Getting nervous and flustered, Akira tried to look around in all directions, anywhere but her body. However, as he stupidly waved his head all over the place, he forgot that his head would keep crossing her and making it look like he was trying to look but get away with it.

"It's fine," The woman said to him. "You're a man who is obviously into women, wanting to look is only natural. But I appreciate your attempts to not look at me to try and make me more comfortable. It's sweet but unnecessary.

Men see me naked all the time," The woman said without realising what Akira would immediately assume.

Akira, still nervous and embarrassed, turned around completely as he stood up and tried his best not to look.

"Sorry miss. I just saw you lying there and I tried to cover you up with my jacket and wake up you, but stood up and the jacket slipped. I didn't mean too, I swear," He said panicking as back on Earth, this would result in him being thrown in jail and wrongfully called a creep for his whole life.

"Fine. Here," The woman said as she snapped fingers and walked around to Akira, offering him the jacket back. She was now wearing a long white dress that was made from silk.

"How... How did you do that?" Akira asked shocked.

"Magic. You can't use magic? Oh right, I forgot you were human for a second," The woman said smiling as if teasing him for being human.

"Magic? So magic exists in this world too? Wait, human? You're not human? You look human," Akira said as he examined her from head to toe, no longer worried about staring.

"So do elves if they cover their ears. So do dwarfs if they wear high heels. This shape is more common than you'd think. Wait a minute. I look human?"

"Obviously you look human, or I wouldn't be reacting like this," Akira said still flabbergasted that the woman wasn't human.

"So they actually did it. They tried to kill me," The woman said filled with sadness.

"Who tried to kill you?" Akira asked as he looked around trying to see if the people she was talking about was nearby.

"The other Gods. I knew this would happen eventually. But to actually team up against me and strike when I wasn't looking. The cheek of them."

Akira could do nothing but stand at her blankly and blink.

"GODS? You're a God?" He shouted.

"Yep I am. I'm Anavira, the Goddess of Love, Sex and Fertility. I'm the strongest of the highest tier of Gods. And before you ask, no I can't die. Not truly anyway. Now, tell me, what year is it?" Anavira asked flatly.

"Year? 2025? I don't know, I'm not from this world," Akira said matter-of-factually.

"So you're a reincarnated. Weird, I outlawed reincarnating souls to other worlds long ago. 2025, so you're from Earth. I've been gone 5000 years. That's not too bad, what can happen in 5000 years. Barely enough time for a tea party."

"Wait, can you just back up here. You've been gone for 5000 years. As in 5 0 0 0. A lot could happen. Also, if you banned it, why am I here?" Akira asked curious.

"Good question. I'll be sure to ask the reincarnation gods when I'm done beating on them for trying to kill me. Listen, thank you for saving me. I'm not at full power yet, but I can bestow a blessing on you. It will help you get out of here," Anavira said with a smile.

"Wait, this is all going too fast. Can I ask you some questions?"

"No. Look, I know this must all be scary and daunting for you. But I'm the most important of all the Gods. I kept balance in the entirety of creation since the dawn of time. It's not a lot of time for me, but answering one question might mean another universe is at risk of destabilising.

And if that happens, well I'm not sure but it won't be good. I can already sense it here. The other Gods have messed with everything. Balance, love, joy. It's as if they've died in this world. How about this?

I'll give you a blessing as a thanks. I'm sure we'll meet again, for now, I need your help. I need you to help fix this world. Bring back some joy and peace. We'll divide and conquer."

"I'm not sure," Akira muttered as he looked to the ground in shame. "I'm not someone who can do this. I don't have a good enough heart. Perhaps you should ask some good looking hero to help you. I'm sure he'd be able to do it."

Anavira looked at Akira with sympathy, it was clear the man before her was broken and had no confidence in himself.

"Listen," Anavira spoke in a soothing voice. "I don't know what happened to you, but I'm guessing you were put down for your appearance. I'm old, too old to care about looks. What women my age care about is your actions.

You touched my exposed flesh. Something that no human man could normally do and not try to force himself on me. But you did, and you only could because your heart is strong and good. I won't force you to accept, but what I need. What all of creation needs isn't some handsome moron who thinks getting as many girls as possible is good.

We all need a guy who can touch the Goddess of Sex and not be driven mad with lust. We need a guy who ran through dead dryads to help someone he didn't know. So please, help me again. And I promise when we next meet, I'll answer anything you want. I'll help get you back home if you want. Just please.

Help me."

As Akira looked into the desperate eyes of the woman before him, he felt his confidence grow as she spoke. All his life, he'd be treated like garbage because of his looks. Treated like a slave by employers. But this woman, he could tell was genuine and that she didn't see him as less because of his looks.

"Okay," Akira said quietly. "I'll help you. If it's that urgent. I'll help."

The woman smiled at him as she summoned some orb from her hand. The orb was bright blue and when she raised it towards him, the orb flew into Akira. The orb flew so ferociously it felt like a bomb had hit him and sent him flying away.

Snapping her fingers again, the Goddess opened a portal to somewhere Akira couldn't see. It was just pure light inside the portal.

"Thank you. Before I go, what's the name of the man I'm indebted too?" The Goddess asked. Akira couldn't answer as he was still recovering from the blast, but the orb inside him seemed to reach out towards the Goddess.

"Akira. Nice to meet you Akira. I'll see you around. I promise," She said before waving to him and walking into the portal.

Akira lay there for a few minutes as he felt an intense heat inside him grow until it felt like he was going to blackout. And then. The pain disappeared, as if it never existed.

"What the Hell kind of divine blessing was that?" Akira asked before hearing a voice in his head.
