The Tension Rises

Team Placements
Skipping the team placements as they remain canon
Team 7: Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, led by Kakashi Hatake.
Sasuke sat rigidly, glaring daggers at Naruto, who lounged casually in his seat with his signature smirk. The atmosphere between them was suffocatingly tense. Ever since the revelation about Naruto in part 5, Sasuke had been consumed with suspicion and disdain, while Naruto seemed utterly unfazed, reveling in the tension.
When Kakashi arrived three hours late, Naruto was the only one who didn't seem annoyed, merely shaking his head with a chuckle.

The Roof Introduction
On the rooftop, Kakashi explained the format for their introductions.
"Your name, likes, dislikes, hobbies, and dreams," Kakashi instructed, offering an example of his own. "I'm Kakashi Hatake. My likes and dislikes? None of your business. Hobbies? Same answer. My dream? Never thought about it."
Skipping Sasuke and Sakura's introductions, it was Naruto's turn.
Naruto stood up dramatically, spinning his umbrella like a prop as if he were on stage.
"No need for introductions, folks!" Naruto proclaimed, bowing theatrically. "After all, I'm already famous! You've all heard of me, the kid with forest-green eyes, sharp features, and the village's favorite prankster, Naruto Uzumaki!"
Sakura rolled her eyes while Kakashi gave an amused glance. Sasuke narrowed his eyes in irritation.
Naruto continued, his tone smug. "Hobbies? I enjoy pranking our lovely villagers, eating the glorious ramen at Ichiraku, and above all, I love humanity."
The last statement earned an eyebrow raise from Kakashi, and Sasuke's scowl deepened, knowing Naruto had intentionally left out something critical, his love for chaos.
Naruto turned his gaze to Sasuke and grinned, he copies Sasuke. "Dislikes? Hmm, a certain someone. My dream? To end him."
This piqued everyone's interest, but Naruto quickly moved on.
"Finally," he concluded with a faux-serious expression, "my other dream is for the ninja world to achieve true peace."
Sasuke's glare intensified. He didn't believe a word of it. To him, Naruto's actions were the embodiment of chaos, not peace.

The Bell Test – Next Day
The scene opens with Sakura unconscious under Kakashi's genjutsu. In the illusion, she had seen Sasuke's lifeless body riddled with kunai.
Sasuke was buried up to his neck, courtesy of Kakashi's Headhunter Jutsu.
Naruto stood a few feet away, doubled over in laughter. He mocked Sasuke's earlier declaration.
"'I'm different from those two, huh?" Naruto repeated in a high-pitched tone, tears of mirth streaming down his face.
Sasuke glared at Naruto, but his immobilized state robbed his anger of its usual edge.
Naruto straightened, smirking. "Why so hostile, Sasuke? You're acting like I've personally wronged you."
Sasuke didn't respond, but his piercing gaze said it all.
Naruto shrugged and turned away. "Lighten up, Uchiha. You'll get wrinkles," he quipped before strolling over to Kakashi.

Kakashi leaned against a tree, nose buried in his book.
"Ah, Naruto, your turn at last," Kakashi drawled, not bothering to look up.
Naruto twirled his umbrella and pointed it at Kakashi. "Prepare yourself! The Great Lord Naruto is about to take you down!"
Kakashi closed his book and pushed off the tree. "Bring it on."
Naruto took a step forward, and vanished.
Kakashi's instincts kicked in just in time as Naruto reappeared beside him, swinging his umbrella. The weapon missed Kakashi's head by a hair and slammed into the tree, leaving a deep crack in the wood.
Kakashi leaped back, surprised. The academy reports had described Naruto's combat abilities as average at best. But this was far beyond what he had expected.
"So, you've been holding back all this time," Kakashi muttered, putting his book away.
Naruto grinned unnaturally wide, his sharp teeth glinting in the light. "Come on, sensei. Take me seriously, or you'll lose to the big bad demon brat!"
Kakashi pulled out a kunai, holding it defensively.
The two sized up each other, each waiting for the other to make a move.
Naruto broke the stalemate, counting in German. "Einz… Zwei… Drei!"
A burst of pink smoke erupted, and when it cleared, Naruto held a sleek handgun. He aimed it at Kakashi and spoke ominously. "Smile for the camera."
Naruto fired.
Kakashi's kunai glinted as he infused it with chakra and deflected the bullets. Sparks flew with each impact, forcing Kakashi to stay on the defensive.
The handgun clicked empty, and Naruto smirked. "Oh, we're just getting started."
He counted again, summoning a machine gun.
The rapid gunfire echoed through the clearing. Kakashi flipped, ducked, and spun, using trees for cover as bullets shredded the bark.
Sasuke, still stuck in the ground, was wide-eyed and horrified at the unfamiliar noise. "What is that?!"
Naruto's laughter rang out over the chaos. "Dance for me Sensei!"
