"Good news finally, the reinforcements have arrived and the beast tide is being pushed back." Said Jack as he came by in the world behind the portal to relay the news to Lux who had certainly been spending his time wisely ever since he entered the gate.
"That's good." Said Lux in relief as the number of civilians in the gate were starting to grow in number and eventually they would lose control over the situation in the gate. Already, a few of them had been kicked out after they committed some crimes against the other civilians or they broke the conditions he had set at the very beginning.
"Did the monsters that broke inside of the city get killed?" Asked Lux once again as despite wanting to bring them all out, he wasn't cruel to the point of sending them out amongst monsters.
"Yes, perhaps a few remains but there are plenty of professionals currently scouting the city to kill the few remaining monsters." He replied as some of the explorers who heard of the news started to escort their families out of the otherworld and back onto earth. After all, nothing was better than to be in one's own home.
With the first few people leaving, more followed and eventually a large part of the civilians slowly departed from the safe confines of this cloudy world.
'Finally.' Thought Lux with a relieved expression as he had followed his conscience with great pain to help them. However, if such a thing were to happen once more he would arrange more guards to make sure nothing happened.
Leaving the gate after the large group, the shop gradually became deserted. Looking around, Lux nodded his head. Despite not having been in the shop, the shop was still in pristine condition with the two girls and the guards coming daily in the shop to make sure everything was in order.
However, everything changed when he looked out. The previously standing buildings all around had collapsed, and plenty of monster bodies lay in the ruins alongside some human bodies.
With a shake of his head as he recognized a few of them which included two of the men who had previously cheated him and hadn't paid for the gate, he shrugged his shoulders as he instead went back to the shop. While the surroundings weren't completely safe, he wouldn't push himself into danger. After all, despite everything, he wasn't a fighter and while he had created the druid profession core, he had yet to learn any spells of this category.
"If I were some kind of thrill seeking professional, I'd certainly head out to scout for monsters or try to locate the origin of the monsters which is certainly due to the appearance of a large but hidden tower." He commented to himself while showing a derisive smile. He wasn't exceptionally scared of death having already gone through it once in the past. However, having received another chance at life, he was especially careful with it, treasuring it as he knew how valuable and lucky he was to have encountered such a situation, especially in a world as special and incredible as this one.
Not going out due to the dangers was simply intelligent as he didn't need to hunt for money nor to look for opportunities outside as everything he needed was in his system. All that he needed was money and he would be able to get whatever he wished.
"Frank, I'm going to create a new portal. Do a quick survey on the other side with the other guards. However, protect your lives as much as possible." He said as he knew that once he created the portal, he would have to survey the surroundings and kill any near beasts. After all, if they attacked his portal, he might lose his portal.
Thankfully, he was lucky compared to others. After all, a portal destruction always meant a loss of the coordinates of the celestial body in the depths of the universe. However, with his system which had unlocked the coordinates, he couldn't lose them even if he wanted to.
"Yes, sir." He replied as the others all nodded their heads, preparing themselves for battle. They hadn't been very busy those few days except for killing a few monsters and finally a real mission was upon them. They'd make sure to complete it to perfection, grateful for all the help they had received from their boss.

As soon as the portal shimmered into existence, the group pushed their way through the portal, fully geared up to explore the surroundings and bring back an exact report of the world behind the gate.
With the six men gone, Lux turned around and waited on the side. He preferred not going too far away. After all, a situation might arise where he might need to close the portal rapidly. While other humans couldn't go through the portal, nothing stopped the monsters from doing the same. It was merely a precaution.
"Boss! We found other humans!" Exclaimed Frank who brought back two corpses which he dropped on the store's floor much to Viola's distress and Miranda's glare as they would be the ones to clean it up once their boss got whatever information he wanted form them.
"Close to the portal?" He asked with a frown as the group had only left for half an hour before coming back with those two. It meant that in the case where the battle took them no time at all, the furthest limit was only a quarter of an hour away from the gate since they would have to come back as well.
"Only a few minutes away." Confirmed Frank with a nod of his head which was followed by the other five who had been part of the battle.
With furrowed eyebrows and a sinking feeling in his heart, the brown-haired space wanderer slowly nodded while thinking deeply about the implications.
He knew that Poria had five gates and that was without his own as he hadn't created one at that time. However, he hadn't thought that his own gate would appear in the exploration territory of another group.
"Alright. For the moment, please go around and see if you can find the other gate. Refrain from being seen if possible and at the same time, bring back any information on the ressources or monsters that you encounter." Said Lux as the group nodded. They had originally come back just to give an update but they were indeed ready to head back and explore a bit more of the new unlocked land.

With the gate reappearing in the middle of the shop, Lux spent his time simply creating and closing the gate to improve the gate level. While he couldn't do it too much, doing it close to a dozen times was possible all thanks to his increased energy reserves.
With the two girls cleaning the two corpses and the blood on the ground, directly dropping it in Proteus where some monsters would clean it up for them, they soon resumed their post, not that there were any customers at this time.

POV - Frank
"The environment is at least pretty good. It would be a great place for a vacation." Said the scarred man as he looked around. The reddish sky and the heat on their bodies made them feel like they were at the beach.
The rocky and tall mountains in the distance, the forest and marshes that they could see around them and the obvious radiating heat made this world seemingly peaceful. However, as he saw the monsters, he couldn't help but come back to his senses. A razorback hound, hundred-eyed rat, ash spiders and hollow owls. With those kinds of monsters right around the gate, they could certainly not think of anything like a vacation. Perhaps once everything around was secure, it would be a great place for their boss but for the moment, simply following orders was the most important.
"Spread out and try to find any new information about this new asteroid." He said as the five men behind him silently left in their own directions.
They knew to head back to the gate once something happened and they would be fine for as long as they stayed careful.
Leaving on his own, Frank wasted no time, taking his own direction, he followed the small trails he could see in the dirt. Despite having been a slave on his prior planet, he hadn't always been one and had originally been a hunter and a tracker. While hunting animals and humans were different, everything left traces, one only had to know where to look.
Following the steps in the wet dirt, the broken tree branches, the obvious battle scenes where they had fought with an animal or another human, the blood trails and more, Frank followed the trails for two kilometers, the path zigzagging until he finally arrived in front of his target.
