Chapter 32 - Urshifu vs. Articuno: An Epic Battle

The stadium, which had become a battlefield full of storms and destruction, heated up again as Yang Xiaolin stepped to the forefront. With extraordinary calmness, he summoned Urshifu, the Pokémon he relied on, into the arena.

The roar filled the stadium as Urshifu appeared, its body radiating an aura of power that intimidated its opponents. With a level of 130, Urshifu is a threat that far surpasses Articuno, which, despite being legendary, is at level 110.

"Urshifu, it's time for us to show our strength. Use Surging Strikes!" commanded Yang Xiaolin with a firm voice.

Urshifu shot forward like lightning, its movements almost invisible to the naked eye. With precise, rapid movements, it unleashed Surging Strikes, a three-stage attack that hit Articuno hard. The sound of the attack echoed, reflecting Urshifu's extraordinary power. Each blow generated waves of water that engulfed the arena, adding to the intensity of the battle.

Articuno was thrown into the air, its wings flapping laboriously to maintain balance. However, despite being hit by the devastating initial attack, it did not give up easily.

Articuno, with its cold aura, retaliated with Ice Beam, a highly focused ice attack. A blue ice beam shot forward at high speed, targeting Urshifu, who stood firm in the center of the arena.

Yang Xiaolin promptly gave the command, "Dodge with Close Combat!"

Urshifu slid to the side with incredible speed, its movements like flowing water. However, Articuno did not stop there. Quickly, it unleashed Blizzard, a massive snowstorm that enveloped the entire arena, creating an ice storm that obscured visibility. The temperature dropped drastically, causing some spectators in the stands to shiver.

Although the storm was strong, Urshifu continued to move agilely, leveraging its speed advantage to evade attacks. The swirling snow around him seemed unable to touch his energy-filled body.

Yang Xiaolin remained calm, his sharp eyes watching every move of Articuno. "Now, use Wicked Blow!" he shouted.

Urshifu, with maximum strength, directed a highly focused dark attack at Articuno. The attack shot forth with perfect accuracy, directly hitting Articuno in the chest, causing it to be thrown hard to the ground.

Articuno tried to rise, but it was clear that its strength was beginning to wane. Its majestic wings now moved with difficulty, and its breath sounded labored.

However, the battle is not over yet. Outside the arena, the members of Team Galaxy did not remain idle. They unleashed high-level Pokémon such as Genesect, Tyranitar, and Weavile to apply additional pressure. Their relentless attacks began to disrupt the main battle.

"Elite Four, focus on the Galaxy Team members!" shouted Yang Xiaolin, directing his teammates.

Liangyi, who was using Excadrill and Garchomp, immediately launched into another battlefield, attacking with Dragon Claw and Earthquake that shattered the enemy's formation.

On the other side, Zhao Feng sent out Salamance and Tyranitar. With Salamance's resistance tactics, they effectively neutralized the threat from Genesect, which relied on Fire-type Techno Blast attacks.

Meanwhile, Urshifu remains focused on Articuno. Yang Xiaolin decided to end this battle. "Urshifu, use G-Max Rapid Flow!" he shouted.

Urshifu, which transformed into its Gigantamax form, radiated a powerful aura that made the arena tremble. He unleashed an attack involving a torrent of water, striking Articuno with an unstoppable force.

The attack was the final blow. Articuno, who had put up a fierce resistance, finally fell to the ground, unable to continue the battle. A dim blue light enveloped its body, signaling that it had been defeated.

With the fall of Articuno, Team Galaxy's morale crumbled. Their remaining Pokémon could not withstand the combined attacks from the Champions and Elite Four for long.

Genesect, which posed a significant threat, was finally defeated by a combination of attacks from Garchomp and Salamance. Meanwhile, the members of Team Galaxy began to flee, realizing that their defeat was inevitable.

When the battle was over, the stadium fell silent once more. Some spectators who were still trapped in the stadium, previously anxious, were now cheering, celebrating the victory of the Champions and Elite Four. Urshifu stood in the center of the arena, its body upright with an aura of victory radiating.

Yang Xiaolin, with a small smile on his face, stepped closer to Urshifu. He patted his Pokémon's shoulder with pride. "Good job, Urshifu," he said softly.

However, in his heart, he knew that this was just the beginning of something bigger. The Galaxy team still harbors darker secrets, and this battle is just the beginning.

When the dust of battle settled and the crowd in the stadium began to calm down, the atmosphere that was once filled with tension slowly transformed into a sense of relief and victory. The Champions and Elite Four, despite their exhaustion, stood tall with pride radiating from their faces. They have successfully maintained their honor and prevented a major threat from Team Galaxy.

In the crowd, Yang Xiaolin stood still, observing the stadium that had witnessed fierce battles. He took a deep breath, realizing that the danger for now had passed. However, deep in her heart, she knew this was not the end of the struggle.

Yang Xiaolin checked the condition of his team. Urshifu, who had just defeated Articuno, stood firm despite its body showing signs of fatigue.

"Good job, buddy," said Yang Xiaolin gently while patting Urshifu's shoulder. He then called Urshifu back into the Pokéball to rest.

In the corner of the stadium, Gengar remained on guard, its sharp eyes monitoring every corner of the arena. Although the battle was over, Gengar showed no signs of letting down its guard. It remained hovering in the shadows, ready to act if the situation changed.

Yang Xiaolin took his phone and called his nephew, Yang Chen, who was at the farm. On the phone, his voice sounded firm yet full of relief.

"Gengar is no longer needed here. You can call it back," said Yang Xiaolin.

Yang Chen, who was standing in the middle of a green field with a gentle breeze blowing through his hair, listened to the report calmly.

With a simple word in his mind, he called Gengar back. "Gengar, return to the farm."

In the stadium, Gengar heard the command. His body, floating in the air, slowly faded into a dark shadow, then disappeared completely. In a matter of seconds, he reappeared at the farm, where Yang Chen was waiting for him calmly.

When Gengar arrived, Yang Chen looked at him with a small smile. "You did well," he said while patting Gengar with appreciation.

Although Gengar was not directly involved, its presence as a silent guardian had provided a sense of security throughout the battle.

However, behind that smile, Yang Chen's mind was filled with vigilance. He knew very well that Team Galaxy was not a group that easily gave up. This defeat is just one chapter in the grand game they are playing.

The night began to envelop the farm, but Yang Chen did not feel at ease. He stood on the porch of his house, gazing at the vast fields illuminated by the moonlight. The night wind carried a silence that seemed to conceal an unseen threat.

In his heart, he pondered, "Today we might win, but I know they are surely planning something bigger." This defeat will only make them more dangerous. We must always be ready.
