The Valghul, seeing that it's now trapped, tries its best to break the box and escape. The Valghul morphs Arthur's body in all sorts of ways. From its sharpened pike arm stabbing the box, to attempting to grow too large; each attempt fails over and over before it begins to panic. Tom looks at the Valghul with amusement as it helplessly growls and groans in frustration. What's incredible to you is that the Valghul, even as powerful as it is, is nothing compared to the power of The Holy Omniverse Transcript. You just captured a god killer with a simple thought. Because the Valghul is possessing a host that is of the Omniverse, the host's body cannot break the rules that have been set by you for Rosium.
You use the book to begin slowly shrinking the box, and the Valghul begins to scream and roar demonically once it realizes that it only has mere moments before its host becomes destroyed. As the Rosium box slowly gets smaller and smaller, you think about the death of your wife and daughter. You think about the suffering that Veronica and Mimi have been put through. You think about Aatu and Noeh's gruesome demise. You think about all of the Black Traps that were hunted down and genocided. All of these things trace back to the Valghuli and The None, and in mere moments, Sir Arthur will be free from their grasp.
The box continues to shrink until a humanoid can no longer fit inside of it, so the Valghul transforms into a wolf. As the box gets smaller, the Valghul transforms into smaller and smaller things. From a wolf to a snake, from a snake to a scorpion, from a scorpion to an ant, and finally from an ant to a bacteria. The box becomes so small that it crushes everything that's inside down to a singular atom of Rosium, and the Valghul is no more.
The book closes and you silently float there in outer space for a moment before Tom flies over to you and puts his hand on your shoulder. He smiles gently, making a remark to you telepathically.
" That was incredible, Donny. I'm proud of you. "
As you return back to your normal state after using the book, you feel weak. Tom's voice echoes to you as you slowly lose consciousness.
" Donny…? "
Your vision goes blurry and you pass out.
Suddenly you open your eyes to see that you're tied to a chair, floating in a void filled with cosmic purple auras. There are belts holding your arms, legs and mouth in place. You can't move your head and you begin to breathe heavier as your eyes dart all around in every direction, looking for anyone or anything to help you escape. You use all of your strength to try and break the belts that bind you, but even with all of your strength, you can't move an inch. You try to use your powers as a Trap to siphon the Light from the belts, but your hands don't even glow green like they're supposed to and you realize that you can't use your powers either. You're alone… trapped… confused.
Right when you stop struggling and give up the attempt to escape, you blink your eyes and suddenly Mimi is sitting in front of you crying. She's wearing a white nightie and you watch her weep and sob as she sits there until her crying eventually stops. After a moment of silence, she looks at you with tears in her eyes.
" Why'd you kill my papa, Star Faller? "
Mimi says gently as tears run down her face. Her voice echoes throughout the void as she speaks to you.
You try to talk to her, but the belt that's over your mouth isn't allowing you to. You try to move and talk to respond to Mimi, but you can't. Mimi continues to talk to you as you struggle.
" Why won't you answer me, Star Faller? "
Your heart is aching and you try desperately to communicate with Mimi but your bindings don't budge and you're stuck sitting there just looking at her. Mimi speaks again as she stands up.
" You killed my papa, Star Faller… are you gonna kill me too? "
Mimi then pulls out a kitchen knife from behind her and slowly walks towards you. You shake in panic and you try to scream as she approaches, then she climbs onto your lap and sits up on her knees looking down at you. You look up at her face nervously as she puts her little hands around the handle of the knife and puts it between you and her.
" It's okay, Star Faller. I'll do it for you. "
Mimi says before she plunges the knife, blade facing upwards, deep into her stomach. Mimi's blood spills out of the hole as she slices her stomach open going upwards with the knife until the knife reaches her chest and she pulls it out. You cry out in pain and fear as you stare at Mimi's innards while her blood spills all over your torso and rapidly drips off of the edge of the chair. Tears run down your face as the smell of Mimi's blood fills your nose.
" I need a hug, Star Faller. "
Mimi says as she drops the knife and leans into you, pushing your face deep into her bloody organs. She then grabs the back of your head and pushes your face deeper into the hole in her torso. You begin to suffocate in her blood and you can feel her blood running down your throat as it enters your face through your nostrils. You're panicking and fighting your restraints as you slowly lose consciousness, but right before you drown in Mimi's blood, your restraints disappear and you pull Mimi's corpse off of you. You lay her small body onto your lap with closed eyes and wipe off the blood with your hands before you open them. Once your eyes focus, you look down and see that Mimi's corpse has turned into the corpse of Rosie.
Suddenly, the bloody and gorey display disappears and you're left holding Rosie's corpse in your arms as a picnic table and a park materializes around you. The park is completely empty and the atmosphere feels eerie, as if you're being watched from all sides. You look up at the other side of the table to see an older man wearing a purple suit. He leans forward onto the table, standing over it with open arms as he stares at your dead daughter. His gaze meets yours and he puts on a crooked smile. At that moment, it was clear that everything was just an illusion.
" God of Nightmares… "
You say to him in a surprised tone. The man responds in an unhinged and delusional manner as he stares at you.
" Nightmares! Chaos! Madness! Dreams! Yes! Yes! It is me! Sowzo visits in your sleep! "
You lay Rosie's corpse down onto the table in front of you with tears in your eyes. You put your hand softly on her cheek and pull the hair out of her face as you get a good look at her. Sowzo tilts his head upwards and looks at you peculiarly while you silently look at your daughter with teary eyes.
" When I lost her, she turned to dust… Didn't even get to see her again afterwards. "
You say to Sowzo in a depressed manner. Sowzo, clearly not caring about your emotional state at the moment, begins to ramble on about what he wants to tell you.
" Mortal did a good job! The Valghul is dead! When the Valghul came here, Sowzo fled! Sowzo saw it corrupting dreams inside mortals' heads! Scared, Sowzo was. Filled with dread! Sowzo remembers what Nahzgor said! He told Sowzo to hide because Aatu died! Sowzo thought that Nahzgor lied until he saw that Nahzgor cried and was on Izael's side! Nahzgor never cries and Izael never lies. Only under a serious circumstance would they both comply. Sowzo knew his death was certain when we lost the God of Time! If Aatu lost his life in a fight, there was no point for Sowzo to try! "
You continue to look at your daughter with an emotional stare as you think about the moment you lost her. Why did it have to be her? Why couldn't you have just lived a happy life with her and Ariel?
Sowzo, irritated that you're ignoring him, claps his hands twice and your daughter's corpse suddenly reanimates aggressively. Rosie's body lets out a blood-curdling growl as tendrils come out of her mouth and wrap around your neck, choking you. Sowzo looks amused as he watches you fight to break free from the monster that looks like your daughter. He smiles at your horrified expression and speaks to you in a condescending manner.
" Come on, mortal! What's the deal? Can't you see she isn't real? Since you don't listen to Sowzo, Sowzo will steal her appeal. Sowzo cares not how you feel. "
Fed up with Sowzo and his shenanigans and insulted that he'd use the image of your daughter in such a way, you unknowingly awaken the dormant power within you that you used on that night when you lost Rosie. A violent green aura radiates around you as you stand up and the illusion of your daughter disappears. Sowzo glimpses at you with terror and slowly begins to walk backwards as he speaks.
" Impossible! Impossible! This is my dimension! You should have no power in Somniohm! There should be no contention! "
You slowly begin walking towards Sowzo with a look of disdain as he backs away from you. As you walk forward, you completely break the picnic table as if it's made of paper. Each step you take fractures his dimension under your feet and you can see white light gleaming through the cracks as you slowly close the distance between you and him. In a panic, Sowzo disappears in order to get away from you. The dimension then distorts and warps itself into something more familiar in an attempt to calm you down.
You take a moment to look around and you see that you're standing outside of Ariel's cottage. It's peaceful, the weather is beautiful, and you can feel the wind gently blow on your skin as you close your eyes and take a deep breath. You hear Sowzo's voice echo throughout the dimension from every direction with intrigue.
" I now understand why my father chose you. I heard all the rumors. I believed them not true. I was pushing you, mortal, to see what you would do. You really are special, if only you knew… the power that you hold is Absolute. "
