You snap into the fourth orb and you can tell that your mentality has changed drastically. As the environment forms around you, you feel a tremendous amount of power flow through your body.
You're standing in front of the entrance to an encampment with nothing but the burning fire for revenge inside of you. You've been awaiting the arrival of this day for 2 years and you're nervous. Not because of the things that will soon ensue, but because you're finally going to see Rosie again. You have returned to where the Black Traps reside after your pursuit for strength and you have one goal etched deep into your mind. A goal that has been the center of your entire being and the meaning of your existence over the past couple years. Today is the day that you avenge Ariel and get Rosie back.
Your hands quiver as you slowly walk into the encampment. Your mind is sharp and your body pulses with adrenaline as you focus yourself completely on fulfilling what you've come here to do.
You recall how you've traversed between universes over these past years in your pursuit for power. You started by killing the strongest mortals in each universe that you visited until mortal men were too weak to give you a challenge, then you began killing the gods of those universes with the sole intention of growing in strength and becoming more powerful. Hundreds of gods and men fell by your hand until your story eventually became Legend. Now almost every being in the Omniverse knows your name and the story behind your pursuit for power. The most powerful gods and men within the Omniverse now fear the possibility of your arrival, and they're petrified upon hearing even a mutter of your name. You are known as Abbadon, the Destroyer; but those who fear your arrival have chosen to give you a more respectful name. To them, you are referred to as The Lamenter.
As you're walking past the tents in the encampment, the Black Traps who notice you stare at you in fear. You continue to head towards one specific tent in the encampment that's sitting upon a hill as Black Traps run around quietly in the background, alerting everyone of your presence. When you finally arrive at your destination, you see all of the Black Traps form a crowd around you. The looks on their faces are stained with angst as the majority of them defensively put themselves between you and the tent that you planned on entering. As you stand in front of this tent, the crowd knows exactly what you've come here to do. The tent on the hill that they're protecting belongs to Anito.
You look at the people standing in front of you with menacing eyes as you speak to them.
" Move. "
You can feel the fear in the atmosphere amplify tenfold before you speak to them again.
" I won't tell you twice. "
The people in front of the tent disperse except for two Traps that appear skeptical of your reputation and power that stand tall in defiance of your command. Then suddenly you sense two more Traps quickly emerge from the crowd behind you as all 4 Traps attempt to surprise attack you at once. Your heightened perception has given you complete awareness of your surroundings and infinite time to react compared to what it used to be, so you instantly identify the approaching threat and react before the attackers can take their second step towards you.
Within the blink of an eye, you use your power to violently force all 4 attackers onto their knees around you. Their knees slam onto the ground so hard that they shatter upon impact with the ground. The Black Traps scream in pain as you slowly turn and look around at them unamused. As you silently look at them, you force them down even further onto their hands in front of the whole crowd. They glare at you with terror and instant regret before you make them slam their faces onto the ground as hard as they can over and over. The crowd watches in horror as these 4 Traps make a bloody mess of themselves against their will until their faces are completely torn apart and are unrecognizable. Their teeth fall out of their mouth and onto the floor as they continue to slam their faces into the ground harder and harder. The horror finally stops when their necks break from the constant impact of their face hitting the ground and their crumpled corpses start to bleed out in front of everyone.
You glare at the corpses and the crowd with a look of impatience as you speak to them.
" What could weak little mortals like you hope to do against such an incredible being like me? "
You then see Anito emerge from his tent and look at you as if he barely has the courage to stand before you. You pierce his soul with a gaze of retribution as you speak to him.
" Does that sound familiar, Anito? "
Anito slowly and carefully walks down the hill towards you. He attempts to appear compassionate with his words, but you know that it's all a facade as he responds to you.
" I made a mistake, Abbadon. Over these past couple years, I've grown to admire your daughter and understand your feelings towards lesser beings. I've developed quite the friendship with Rosie… and killing me would only upset her. "
You then hear the voice of a familiar girl that speaks up from the crowd.
" He's a liar! "
You turn towards the voice and you see Rosie standing close to Tom as the crowd disperses around them. Rosie continues to speak up with tears in her eyes as the whole crowd watches.
" He's a gross man, Papa. I hate him. He's always trying to take advantage of me and get me to do dirty things but he can't because Tom always stopped him. Tom taught me how to tell when he's up to no good. "
Tom hugs Rosie close to him as she cries silently. It must've taken her a lot of courage to speak out in front of everyone the way that she did. You turn back to Anito and see a look of pure terror stained on his face. He knows this is it. He knows what's about to happen.
Anito's voice trembles as he tries to plead with you.
" P-p-please Abbadon! I'll do anything you ask of me! "
Tom quickly hugs Rosie and buries her face in his chest to protect her from seeing what happens next. You smile slightly as you respond to Anito.
" Then die. "
You pull Anito towards you with your power and catch him by his throat as you begin floating up in the air. You slowly squeeze his throat with one hand as he struggles to break free. He begins flailing his arms as his face begins to turn blue, then he unsheathes his dagger and begins stabbing your arm in an attempt to break free from your grasp. The dagger doesn't even come close to piercing your solid skin and the blade shatters upon the 6th stab onto your arm as you slowly close your hand around Anito's windpipe. The tips of your fingers then break into the skin on Anito's neck as you continue to close your hand around his throat. Anito stops struggling as his face turns purple. Blood from his neck begins running down his body and he goes limp as your fingers rub the bones inside his neck. You stare into his eyes and taunt him with some familiar words as you think about what he did to your wife and the mother of your child.
" What's the matter, Anito? There's no fight left in you? "
Anito then loses consciousness and you quickly close your hand into a fist around his windpipe. Blood explodes out of his neck all over you as his body falls to the ground. You hold the meat from his throat tight in your fist and look down at his lifeless corpse. The crowd moans and cries in fear and horror as they see that Anito's head is only connected to his torso by bones in his spine and the skin on the back of his neck as the blood from his missing throat floods the ground all around you. You look back up at the crowd with dead eyes as you're covered in blood and you speak to them in a serious tone.
" You are only alive because I allow it. From this moment forward, you answer to me… "
Suddenly the memory begins to crack again, but this time it's different. The light seeping through the cracks into the orb isn't white this time. It's orange. The orb then shatters and you're back in space once again, but to your surprise, a familiar face is there to greet you. It's Noeh, and he looks at you empathetically as he floats towards you.
You're flabbergasted, not only because you saw him die right in front of you when you were in the cafe, but also because it feels like he's slipped your mind since you've been going through all of your old memories. You speak to him in an overwhelmed tone as you're still trying to process what happened in the most recent memory.
" H-how? I saw you die… "
Noeh gently puts his hand on your shoulder and smiles as he responds.
" Yes. You did. I am in an ethereal form within your mind. Witnessing these memories has felt like a long time in your perception, but when you awake from this trance, you will return to reality as if the witnessing of all of your memories happened only in the blink of an eye. "
You take a deep breath and prepare yourself for the awakening back into reality, but Noeh reads your thoughts and speaks to you in a reassuring tone.
" Relax, Abbadon. I can keep you here as long as you need until you are ready. I know that these memories have been alot for you to handle, and I am here with you one final time to help you stay on the path that my father has given you. "
You remember the conversation with the Valghul before it killed Noeh. It wanted you to help The None reclaim reality. Noeh reads your thoughts and responds.
" Yes, it did. The Valghul was right. Reality did belong to The None before my father began creating universes, but I'd like you to at least understand my father and the truth behind the Valghul's intentions. Would you care to stay and speak with me one last time before The None consumes my entire being? "
You smile softly as you look back at Noeh.
" Sure. "
You say to him.
" I'll happily be here for you in your final moments. "
