Chapter 13 - Fallen angels 2

....

This display of dominance elicited shocked reactions from those watching, even among his allies.

The sheer control Raizel exerted over his enemies was both awe-inspiring and terrifying, leaving everyone acutely aware of the vast chasm between his power and theirs.

Turning his gaze toward Issei, Raizel spoke with a calm yet playful tone, "You can deal with your ex-girlfriend however you wish, Issei." His eyes briefly flicked to Akeno, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "Isn't that right, Akeno?" he added, his voice teasing.

Akeno raised an eyebrow, a small smirk forming on her face, while Issei looked flustered, caught off guard by Raizel's unexpected remark.

The rest of the group couldn't help but react, some chuckling at the playful jab, while others remained focused on the tense situation.

Raizel's light-hearted comment amidst the serious atmosphere added a brief, humorous moment, highlighting his composed demeanor even in the midst of battle.

He then turned to his enemies, stepping in front of them with an air of absolute authority. His eyes, still glowing red, pierced through the darkness as he spoke in a cold, detached voice. "How do you wish to die?"

The fallen angels, undeterred, responded with threats, vowing to kill him and boasting of their strength. Raizel remained unfazed, his gaze unwavering. "Our eyes do not meet," he stated calmly. "Kneel."

With that single command, an invisible force pressed down on them, and despite their resistance, they were compelled to drop to their knees.

The sheer weight of his presence left them powerless, their bravado crushed under the overwhelming dominance Raizel exuded.

As all three of them were forced to their knees, Raizel's cold, commanding voice resonated through the air. "This is where your eyes meet mine."

Slowly, he began to unseal his power, an invisible pressure descending upon the area, suffocating and unbearable but just for his enemies. The atmosphere grew heavy as everyone present felt the weight of his presence.

With a subtle gesture of his hand, he activated his 'Blood Field' ability, his control over them absolute. The air seemed to thrum with energy, and all eyes were on him as he spoke with unwavering authority. "Your sins..." His words were deliberate, each one echoing with gravity.

As he continued, a single drop of blood appeared on his right hand's finger, glistening ominously. "...shall be paid with your blood."

The finality in his voice was chilling, leaving no room for mercy. The drop of blood symbolized the judgment that was about to be executed, marking the end for those who dared oppose him.

As Raizel's words echoed in the still air, a large blood tornado suddenly erupted around the fallen angels and the priest. The crimson whirlwind swirled with terrifying intensity, engulfing them completely. Within moments, their bodies began to dissolve, turning into blood and ceasing to exist.

The gruesome spectacle drew a mix of shock and awe from everyone present. The sheer power and finality of Raizel's judgment left an indelible impression on all who witnessed it.

The fallen angels' defiance was utterly crushed, their fates sealed by the overwhelming might of his 'Blood Field' ability. The eerie silence that followed was a testament to the profound impact of Raizel's ruthless display.

With the task complete and the battlefield now silent, Raizel moved gracefully towards the group. Issei had already dealt with Raynare, his expression one of resolution.

As Raizel approached Akeno, his demeanor softened, and he spoke to her lovingly, though with a teasing edge. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice gentle yet playful.

Before Akeno could fully respond, Raizel suddenly placed a hand over his mouth, a small cough escaping as a trace of blood stained his fingers. The sight instantly sparked concern among the group, their worried expressions reflecting their growing unease.

"Raizel!" Akeno exclaimed, stepping closer with evident worry in her voice. The others quickly gathered around, their concern palpable.

'Hey, EL it's not like i am short of life force then why is this happening.'

[This is not because of the cost of using your power, Raizel. This is because you were in sleep and your body is adapting to your power after waking up.]

'Ah.. you should have told me you scared the crap out of me.'

Despite their evident concern, Raizel brushed it off with a faint smile. "I'm fine," he insisted, his voice calm and composed. However, Akeno wasn't convinced. She stepped in front of him, her eyes filled with worry.

"Draigg has already told us everything about your circumstances," she said firmly, her voice trembling slightly with concern. "So please, refrain from using your power like this." The care in her tone was unmistakable, a clear plea for him to consider his well-being.

Raizel met her gaze, seeing the genuine concern in her eyes. Though he maintained his composed demeanor, her words lingered, the weight of her worry not lost on him.

Seeing the worried expressions on Akeno and the others, Raizel decided to address their concerns. His voice was calm and reassuring as he spoke.

"I appreciate your concern, but there's no need to worry. I have a lifespan of 25,000 years," he explained, his tone steady. "Even if I use my powers recklessly, I can still live for another 20,000 years."

Despite his attempt to ease their worries, the group remained concerned. Akeno, however, frowned slightly, her concern not entirely dispelled. "Just because you have a long lifespan doesn't mean you should be careless with your health," she insisted, her voice gentle but firm.

Raizel offered a small, reassuring smile. "I understand, Akeno. I'll be more careful," he promised, acknowledging their concern while trying to put them at ease.

Though this revelation left the group staring at Raizel in shock, the sheer magnitude of his lifespan sinking in. The weight of his words hung in the air, adding another layer to the mystery surrounding him.

Breaking the silence, Raizel spoke calmly, "There's no need to dwell on this. You should head back to the Occult Research Club."

Without waiting for a response, he raised his hand and, in an instant, teleported away, leaving the group momentarily stunned by both his words and his sudden departure.

The others exchanged glances, still processing what they had just learned, before gathering themselves and preparing to follow his instruction. The atmosphere remained heavy with the gravity of Raizel's revelation as they made their way back.

But Just as they were preparing to teleport, Raizel's voice softly echoed in their ears, carrying a teasing warmth. "Well, it fills my heart with sweetness to see you concerned about me, Akeno."

The group paused, glancing around in confusion, searching for the source of his voice.

However, Raizel was nowhere to be seen. Despite the suddenness of his words, a faint smile touched Akeno's lips, and the others couldn't help but feel a mixture of amusement and bewilderment.

With no sign of Raizel, they finally activated their teleportation, disappearing from the scene and heading back to the Occult Research Club.
