Chapter 49 - Open House - 2

The lively atmosphere of the auditorium was interrupted by the sudden burst of the door swinging open. Everyone turned to see Sona, the ever-composed Student Council President, stepping in, her expression a mix of curiosity and mild irritation.

"What's going on here?" Sona asked, her sharp gaze sweeping the room.

Before anyone could respond, Serafall's eyes locked onto her younger sister. In an instant, her demeanor shifted from playful to intensely focused, her Sis-con instincts flaring to life. She practically teleported to Sona, her excitement bubbling over.

"I finally found you, Sona!" Serafall exclaimed, her arms spread wide in dramatic flair.

Sona's usual stoic composure wavered as she froze in place, her eyes widening in a mix of surprise and dread. "S-Serafall..."

Oblivious to Sona's discomfort, Serafall continued her energetic tirade, her words spilling out in one breath, "I am so happy to see you! What's the matter? You look sad? Your face is all red. Aren't you excited to finally be seeing your big sister again? I'm gonna require a lot more happiness from you! Come on! You should run into my arms and tell me how much you missed me! And then I'll say, 'Oh, Sona, I missed you too!' And then I'll give you a big fat kiss and then you'd kiss me back and that would lead to girl-to-girl action, and wouldn't that be hot!"

The room fell into an awkward silence, everyone's eyes now firmly on Sona, who seemed to be turning an even deeper shade of red. The usually composed Sona was clearly struggling to maintain her dignity.

"S-Serafall, please!" Sona stammered, trying to back away from her overly enthusiastic sister.

The rest of the group, including Raizel, could barely contain their reactions. Issei's mouth hung open in shock, while Akeno had to stifle a giggle behind her hand. Rias pinched the bridge of her nose, clearly used to Serafall's antics but still exasperated.

Raizel, ever the observer, raised an eyebrow, his usual calm demeanor slightly amused by the unfolding scene.

---

Serafall's antics continued to captivate everyone in the room. Her boundless energy was both overwhelming and oddly endearing.

"This is the part where you say, 'How long has it been?' and, 'How excited you are to see me,'" Serafall declared dramatically, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Rias stepped forward, her usual composure firmly in place. "It has been a long time, Lady Leviathan."

Serafall beamed at her. "Oh yes, it has, Rias. Now, how excited are you to see me?"

Rias smiled politely. "Very. thank you for asking. Did you come here to visit Sona for the open house?"

Serafall nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! And I had to find out about it on my own. Sona is such a meanie for not telling me! I was so mad when I found out the truth, I almost attacked Heaven out of frustration!"

Sona, standing nearby, kept her head down, clearly overwhelmed by her sister's relentless energy. Her usual calm demeanor was nowhere to be found.

As Serafall scanned the room, her eyes landed on Raizel, standing composed beside Akeno. She tilted her head, curiosity piqued. "Hey, look! Is that the Raizel I'm thinking of? From the Noble?"

Her words drew everyone's attention. The room grew silent as all eyes turned to Raizel.

Raizel, ever the epitome of grace, offered a polite bow. "Yes, I am Cadis Etrama Di Raizel. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Leviathan."

Serafall clapped her hands together, clearly delighted. "Wow, the rumors were true! It's an honor to meet you, Raizel. You're quite famous, you know."

Raizel simply nodded, his expression serene. "The honor is mine."

Before the conversation could continue, Serafall turned her attention back to Sona, her Sis-con instincts flaring once again. "Sona-chan! Don't think you can escape me!"

Sona, now visibly distressed, began backing away. "I can't take this anymore!" she cried out, turning on her heel and running out of the room, tears streaming down her face.

The room was left in stunned silence for a moment before Serafall, completely unfazed, shrugged and giggled. "Ah, she's so cute when she's flustered!"

Rias sighed, shaking her head. "Lady Leviathan, you never change."

Akeno leaned closer to Raizel, whispering with a smirk, "Quite the family reunion, isn't it?"

Raizel nodded slightly, his eyes following Sona's retreating form. "Indeed."

As the crowd dispersed from the auditorium, Raizel and Akeno quietly slipped away, leaving the others behind. The two found solace in a secluded corner of the school grounds, away from the commotion.

Their fingers intertwined naturally as they walked, the bond between them growing stronger with each passing moment.

Meanwhile, back in the main hall, Issei and his friends were caught by surprise when they stumbled upon Issei's father, chatting animatedly with Rias's father, Zeoticus Gremory. The two men appeared to be having a jovial conversation, exchanging stories and laughter.

"Issei!" his father called out, waving him over. "Come here! You have to meet Rias's father. We've been having the most fascinating discussion."

Issei approached, a bit nervous, but his father's cheerful demeanor helped ease his tension. Zeoticus greeted him warmly, clearly pleased to meet the young man who had been such a central figure in his daughter's life.

As the group mingled, Sirzechs descended from above, his regal presence commanding attention. He landed gracefully, a smile on his face as he complimented the gathering. "It's wonderful to see such camaraderie between families. Truly heartwarming."

Rias, noticing the playful glint in her brother's eyes, approached him. "Why are you laughing, Sirzechs? What's so amusing?"

Sirzechs chuckled softly, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Oh, nothing specific, dear sister. It's just… seeing everyone together like this reminds me of how far we've all come. And perhaps, it's also the little moments that bring unexpected joy."

Rias narrowed her eyes, sensing there was more to his amusement than he let on. "You're hiding something," she accused, though her tone was light.

Sirzechs merely smiled, his enigmatic nature leaving her with more questions than answers. "Let's just say, today has been quite entertaining."

As the conversation continued, Issei's father extended an invitation. "Why don't you all come over to our house sometime? We'd love to have you. It's always nice to get to know more about the people around Issei."

Zeoticus nodded in agreement. "That sounds delightful. Family gatherings are important, after all."
