Once upon a time, there lived an ordinary and an unknown being: a boy named Itsuki and a girl named Victoria.
Their relationship is hard to determine. They were neither friends nor enemies; even calling them as mere acquaintances is an both an understatement and an overstatement.
They both lived in far parts of a certain town. Itsuki lived in an ordinary home with an ordinary family and an ordinary life, while Victoria lived in a mansion with no one by her side, living a life of solitude.
Itsuki would often visit Victoria's home. Victoria was unwelcoming to him, but even so, he still kept going. As a result of this, a bond formed between the two of them before they even realized it.
But there was one thing Itsuki didn't know about the Victoria.
As the years passed by, Itsuki grew up to be a healthy young man. Victoria, on the other hand, didn't appear to grow as much as Itsuki did. That's when he knew that Victoria was different from other people in a different sense.
A mansion that she only she lived in, an unusual cold body temperature, and an appearance that didn't grow older no matter how much time passed by. When Itsuki pieced it all together, that's when he knew that Victoria wasn't a human.
She was a vampire.
But despite their differences, Itsuki accepted her dearly. He didn't get scared, as he just saw her as a lonely little girl in a big home. He didn't push her away, because he knew that's not what he's supposed to do.
That's when their bond only became stronger.
But because of this, the town in which Victoria and Itsuki lived in wasn't happy. That's when the hunt for the vampire began.
The whole town was after them, and there was nothing they could do. Victoria was eventually caught, and since Itsuki had been helping her, he was caught with her.
That's when their story in this world came to an end.
And that's when their new story began in another world.
