Chapter 48 - MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE

Two days later and after having that talk, the six met again, to sign the paper in which they specified, under what conditions they were getting married.

The conditions that they had set is that, they were married by separation of property, they would live with them for four years and legally married, that they would give them children and finally, for everyone, they would pretend that they loved each other, when in reality they did not.

After carefully reading each point that was on the paper, the six signed, how they had signed on their cédulas and how they should sign on the marriage certificate.

Within two weeks, they were married, without the presence of the family and after that, they registered their marriages.

"With this, we are already legally married; so, we go to the house and pack our things, because we are going to live together, but each in their own houses, "said Nathaniel.

At the Anderson home, Nathaniel, Vanessa, and Megan told their family members that they were already legal.

"Why didn't they tell us they were getting married and that they planned to get married today?" Cody asked them, annoyed to hear that they had gotten married and none of them were present.

"Because we did not want to be bombarded with questions that, for now, we are not going to answer and we will answer them in due course.

Daddy, when you know about our real reasons, why we have decided to marry them, we know that they will support us and without any problem and that is why we ask for your patience and faith in us, okay?" Nathaniel told them, trying to calm the anger of his family; especially his dad's.

"And we will give it to you, count on it. Changing the subject, a bit, where will they live? Will they live together?" Cody asked, curious to know which house they chose, to help them settle in.

"The three of us will live in the country, far from the city and each one in our houses, with our husbands and the houses are ready to be habitable, daddy," Nathaniel replied, having everything ready.

"We are glad that you have everything ready and if you have any problems, let us know or if you need money or if you want us to bring you food, okay?" Cody said, looking at the three of them.

"Okay, daddy. We'll keep it in mind and don't worry we'll be fine," Nathaniel replied, smiling at his dad.

"It is OK son. But we will keep an eye on you and please bring your wives to meet them," his father told him.

"Okay, daddy. Now, we are going home, but we have to pick up our husbands," Nathaniel replied.

As soon as they put their suitcases in the respective cars, they went directly to their house.

"We know that we are married to you and that we have to live where you want to live, but whenever we can, we will come here, to see how things are and so that our family does not think that we are neglecting the house, because we are married to you guys," Tony said.

"And we will continue with our lives, as if nothing, each one, in their things, without disturbing the other at all," Loui replied.

"Do they know that you are married to us?" Vanessa asked.

"Yes, they do, because we can't hide anything from them," Tony replied.

"And what do you think about it?" Megan asked.

"They didn't like it at all, but they support us unconditionally," Loui replied.

"If Loui agrees, we would both live here and there would be no problem; since his family already know the truth and would not object to the fact that we would both be living here, or would they object?" asked Megan.

"They would not object and I have no problem, continuing to live here, after all, this is our family's house and they would feel calm, if one of us, we would be living here, taking care of the house and its surroundings," Loui replied.

"Tony and I, we would live in a house that belongs to my family and is half an hour from this house," answered Vanessa.

"Sookie and I, we would be living two hours away from you, but the six of us would be watching each other and regardless of the time, we would be calling each other, if we are in trouble, okay?" Nathaniel said.

"We think it is a good idea, to be aware of each other; thus, we would feel more protected, because we would be living far from our family," Megan responded.

"We accept everything, with the only condition that we would not be sleeping with you, perfect," Loui replied.

"And we have the same opinion as Loui. We accept absolutely everything, even pretending to love you, but not getting laid," Tony replied.

"Oh by the way! Our family wants to meet them and they asked us to take them home this weekend and we want to know what they think," said Nathaniel.

"We agree. We will bring wine and a sweet," Sookie said.

"It's okay. Now, we go to our respective houses; with the exception of Megan and Loui, who would be living here," Nathaniel said.

When they finished saying goodbye, each married couple went to their respective homes, leaving Megan and Loui, at the Cartwright house, where they would begin to live.

"Instead of living far away, why don't we live together so, in a moment of extreme urgency, we wouldn't have to call each other and together we would get out of any situation?" Tony asked.

"So, you guys would be together and we wouldn't have to hear you cry, because you are far away," Loui said.

"We, we could say the same of you. I agree," Nathaniel said.

 "I agree too," Megan said.

"We all agree; so, to choose our own rooms and with this decision, we would be avoiding answering unnecessary questions and being under the magnifying glass of strangers," said Sookie.

"It's okay. We will start living here, during these three years of marriage. The first thing we're going to do is pick our own rooms" Nathaniel said.

"The three big rooms, we will leave it to you and we, we will continue to sleep in our rooms. Now, we will show them their rooms, so they can unpack and start living in it," said Loui.

"This huge room, which has a huge balcony, with large windows overlooking the sea, lots of ventilation and has enough space, so you don't feel like you're in jail, is for Nathaniel," said Sookie.

"This room, which has the same characteristics as Nathaniel's room and the only difference is that it has a huge exit to an interior dining room, overlooking the sea, is Vanessa's," said Tony.

"This room, which is next to Vanessa's room, is yours Megan and is the same as Vanessa's and with the same characteristics," said Loui.

"Well, now we leave you to unpack and sleep and from tomorrow on, each one makes his life as a single; with the exception that, if there is a family reunion, we will be together, as if we were in love or when they come to visit or fall without warning," said Sookie, when they were leaving the rooms of the three, to go to sleep.

"If you're hungry, just go to the kitchen and make whatever you want," Tony said.

During that week, the six were leading their single lives, living their own lives and unaccountable to anyone for what they do or don't do.

Saturday came and the six of them were getting ready to go to the Anderson house, because Nathaniel's grandmother, Megan and Vanessa, wanted to meet them; like, all the family and friends.

When they arrived, they did not know how they were welcomed at the Anderson house and when they saw too many people, they did not know how to react.

Among the guests were the Bowman family and Cherie Claymon, who is Adaline Van Der Woodsen.

"With that you are innocent and have no relation to the murderers of our family! They were close with the lies, but from this moment on, we will no longer believe their lies. We already want the four years to pass, to divorce you, for separation of property and each one, returns to make their lives as single," said Tony, red with anger.

"Don't even think about lying to us again, because our lives would be a real hell, worse than the one we are already living in," said Loui, red with anger; just like, Tony.

"The three of them won quite a few Oscars, with the lies they told us. Congratulations! They must be celebrating. We already brought them wine, so they can celebrate that they saw our idiotic faces," said Sookie.

For the next two hours, Vanessa, Megan and Nathaniel were introducing them to all the family and friends and showing them around the house.

Tony, Loui and Sookie, they brought Vanessa, Megan and Nathaniel, two glasses of wine, for each one of them and they said the following: "To celebrate that they managed to see our idiotic faces" and they walked away from them and they concentrated on the rest of the family.

While they were moving away from them, Tony, Loui and Sookie, saw something in Adaline, that made them suspect that something in her is not right, but they decided to pretend they had not seen or suspected anything.

Throughout the day into the evening, the six of them pretended to be madly in love with each other, kissing from time to time, so that they would not suspect anything that it was a loveless marriage, holding hands and smiling when they could, albeit from time to time. inside, they were ready to start a fight never seen before.

When it was time for each of them to retire to their homes, the grandmother congratulated her grandchildren on their marriages and for having excellent taste in the selection of husbands.

They arrived at the house, without uttering a syllable and they spent the whole month without speaking and continuing with their single lives.
