The next day Luci wakes up, he is met with his mother and father's smiles.
His mother and father shouted happy birthday.
Luci is happy that they knew his birthday because he doesn't know it. He gave them kisses on the cheek and told them that he loves them.
His mother and father lifted him towards the kitchen where a spit roasted pork was lay on a long wooden plate, a huge piece of bread and a pot of stew.
Once Luci was placed down on his usual seat on the left side of his mother. He grabs his plate and points it towards his father.
They laugh at his antics. His father then placed some food to his mother's plate first then Luci's before placing some food to his own plate.
They start praying for the seven with more emphasis on the mother.
After the prayer, Luci eats first due to his speed, biting a piece of the roasted pig. It tasted just as good it looked.
Luci finishes his pork first before he starts eating the stew while swiping the bread and eating it. The meal was heavenly and the best part is that his mother made the stew.

After eating their fill, his father calls his attention and tells him that they're going to start his knighthood training.
They are happy for him. Luci on the other hand is fucking terrified. He doesn't want to be sent away to another family just so he can get an internship without pay.
So he cried, his mother and father were surprised by his reaction and immediately tried to soothe him and ask him why he cried with his mother embracing him.
Luci gave them his assumptions but lied that he heard about it from travellers while asking one of them what is the process of becoming a knight.
He describes that he needs to be cleaning someone else's stuff and be abused by other people stronger than himself (exaggerated part), just so he can have a little chance in becoming his awesome father. His parents were shocked about his outburst but continue to hear his cries.
After he calms down after 4 minutes. His father gave him some smooth pats on the chest and tried to get his attention before telling him about his experience. Mostly about the best part of being a knight, wanting his son to be on the brighter side of this world so that he may suffer less compared to those who have little opportunities in their life.
Luci mostly focused his attention to part when his father said about being paid as a page. 15 copper coins per 2 days doesn't sound bad for an entry job.
He calmed down and asked if he could help them with that money. They both nod in approval before his father telling him that he can even earn more for a job well done.
Before he can tell his parents that he agrees. They distract him from sparring with his father. They went out to the front yard.
Luci performed the same as usual. The problem is his father noticed it as well. He is outstandingly doing better than kids of his age. Capable of dodging attacks that splits bandits in half with his wooden sword by staying out of reach while also disappointingly missing his attacks and retaliation.
His father notices that his attacks were garbage at best while his defensive approach is otherworldly. Of course this is him only attacking his son half heartedly though each attack would demolish his son for a day.
His father is glad though that his mother isn't losing her mind from their sparring. Luci witnessed the anger of his mother so clearly that he still remembers every move she gave his father. A combo of punches in the face which his father ate and a full force slam of a wooden chair after his father looks away thinking that she was overreacting. That managed to hurt him. Lastly tripping him on the ground with her hands on his face slamming the back of his head on to the ground.
His mother was losing her temper after that display of carelessness. His father realizes that it is going too far with her that their son is a natural fighter.
That was a scene that he wants to replicate towards a jackass. It was awesome and epic.
After finishing the spar in an hour. His father made him go out of the house and play with himself, to which he agrees because he wants to try and investigate what he can do with his power.
Luci goes towards the nearby river and sits down below a tree's large root before focusing with himself again.

Luci sees the proficiency and is puzzled by it, leaving it there because he has no clue what it is. He instead focuses in the Classes and Subclasses, where he got overwhelmed by the information that he has.
After a while of trying to understand the Classes, he is definitely sure that this power is inspired by D&D 5th edition with a hint of a massive homebrew.
This will definitely make him stronger than everybody else and he accepts it. He dives in the information of the Classes and Subclasses again and searches for anything that is worth it.
He rejects Barbarian & Fighters because of its directiveness, Wizard & Warlocks because he doesn't want to be ostracized and be the main event of a witch hunt, Cleric because he has no clue how Gods work, Rogues & Bards because he needs to be better in combat.
He now is left with Rangers and Paladins. He wanted both, he wanted to multiclass but he doesn't know how.
It ended with a coin toss with heads being Paladin and Tails being Ranger which resulted in Tails. He picks it and is bombarded with more understanding with him needing to pick some of the choices.

Luci looks at the Feats and gets bombarded again. Instead of the usual ability scores that he should get from level 4, 8, 12, 16 and 19. He gets all of them raised every level and can choose a feat.
Feast where he chooses to pick Resilient for a proficiency and expert in Constitution.
Luci then tries to pick a stick and gives it a tree with a series of blows. It was much more effective than before the speed of his swings and how it connects was improved by the courtesy of the Weapon Master. Even a stick is a weapon.
He immediately goes home and Challenges his father again who smiles at his enthusiasm and role played again as a bandit.
His father talked shit to him and playfully mocks him because of him having no weapon. Luci stops for a moment and thought about it and realized how fucked he would be if he had none in a real fight. Next time he wants to have a weapon on him even if it is just a stick.
His father, not knowing his pondering, threw him a wooden sword before approaching him. His father walks towards him menacingly while he catches the weapon in time with an overhead strike which he manages to dodge by jumping back.
His father notices the difference, his became faster and stronger even if it is not by much. Luci's short stature then retaliated by hitting his father's sword away after he shortened the distance and tried to hit his father on the stomach.
His father parries it easily and attacks him again. This went on and on for 10 minutes before his father stops it by yanking Luci by the shirt and praising him as a six years old genius.
Luci smiles even if it isn't really fair. He had help from God. Even then, he is happy that he manages to make his father satisfied.
Luci then goes to his mother where she has prepared snacks and beverages.
