As the skies turned crimson, a small grin appeared on my face, as I turned to face someone who I knew all too well. Raising my spear, I used everything I had, and my vision dyed in red faded away.

A strange warmth held me down, wait no. It wasn't strange at all, it was my comfortable bed and blankets weighing down on me.
I softly opened my eyes to the sight of my room. If anyone saw it, they'd surely yell at me to get my act together.
That didn't bother me in the slightest, as if I could care about what they'd say. Gradually waking up (30 minutes later), I woke up to a loud explosion.
Or so I thought, It wasn't a loud explosion, it was many loud explosions.
In disbelief, I had to look outside, however the outside palace was ruined to shreds, buildings falling down as fires burned whatever didn't crumble.
That's when something truly shocking happened, a fairy? No. Too small and devilish, but it certainly didn't look like a demon either, and to top it all off, it was ugly…
I blinked a few times before I spotted a few features that I could associate it with, a tail of a rat, a head of a fish and the body of a plush…
Perhaps I should just go back to sleep as if this never happened and wake up to see if I was still in a dream? But, before my head could wander off anymore, that thing began to speak.
"Kjur waslD 7s n@w 6kne, ho1 will you adapt to this new world I've created?" that thing said, in an otherworldly rasp. It felt wrong. Nothing in this world should speak like that.
Hold on a second… did it just speak in my native tongue? And what was it that it said? It created this world? No, if anything, it RUINED my perfectly enjoyable day off with whatever that hellscape of an outside it turned into.
"I can hear y0u, you know."
I stared at it blankly. Did I accidentally say that out loud?.
"You have 2 options now: adapt to this new world and entertain me, or die."
Excuse me? There's… no way This IS not happening! I'd rather not get thrown into the plot of some weird fantasy novel by… whatever that heartless devil is. My day off can NOT be ruined just like this.
"You have forty-eight hours to decide," said the thing, before waving its tail(?). Suddenly, a scroll appeared in my hand with the following words written upon it.

Ok, what? I don't even know what I'm getting myself into, not that that… thing would have the courtesy to explain it to me just because I said pretty please. And did it just materialize a contract into my hands? At least it was nice enough to ask for my permission, but it did say I would die…
I didn't even know what to say, stupefied, I looked at the outside which seemed to turn back to normal?
Perhaps I got too drunk last night, or a novel I read recently had imprinted itself into my dreams.
Scrambling around my room, I looked for my phone, that thing that almost seemed possible but didn't have sent everything in my room flying around when it left.
Desperate to assure myself that it was fantasy, I quickly rushed to check online, however I couldn't access the internet, with a frustrated sigh, I turned on my data, no signal.
Could it be that thing could shut out even the power grid itself? I had no way to deny myself the harsh reality that was presented before me, perhaps one of the family maids would know perhaps a bit more.
I changed before running outside. Frantically, I searched around the palace and found one of my maids. Out of breath and scared, I jumped into her arms before asking.
"Did a weird rat, fish appear in front of you and give you a weird scroll and threaten you with it before disappearing?"
She had a look on her face that resembled mine, trembling in place before confusion overtook her.
"You're awake?"
"Well, with all the loud explosions, how could I not?"
"Ah yes, sorry for my rudeness, but one of my fellow co-workers declined the weird creature's scroll, and she… she blew up."
So that thing had real magic powers and wasn't bluffing, I really would've died.
"I'm sorry, but I must leave. I do not wish to stay here any longer, perhaps if I run far enough it won't track me. She said before running off.
I returned to my room slowly while trembling. There was so much blood. It seemed to only appear after my conversation with my maid, which in turn made me more determined to dent reality.
I returned to my room, staring at the outside, and it was back to the wasted rubble that woke me up.
I don't have any special talents that could entertain that otherworldly jerk, even if I do sign that scroll, I'm sure I would die sooner or later. In reality, without the support of my maids, I'm practically useless and I would die from something stupid like starvation even though I'm royalty, how laughable is that?
With a sigh, I opened the scroll and began to write my name on it.
Lilith Memoir
I awaited the otherworldly creature to return for a few moments before I had to wonder, something supposed had to have happened. Staring at the scroll in confusion, I blinked, and as if waiting for me, the scroll began to change its contents ever so slightly. My name turned crimson, and a bright light enveloped my room.
But, that was all that happened? Maybe something physical changed?
Rushing to the mirror before looking down at my mirror that was now shattered on the ground.
My hair was still silver, my skin was the same, silky and pale white.
However, my eyes seemed a bit off, it was like my irises had turned into an x shape glowing a crimson red.
Is that all it did? My new irises looked good on me, of course as I am a natural beauty. But, if signing the scroll changed my eyes, shouldn't it also have done something else?

"Looking back, it seems we had a similar start, but your efforts amounted to mere struggles in front of me, a pity you were too dull to see what I was truly after" - ???
A massive sword collided head on with my spear, struggling with all my might, the sword and spear both broke at the same time. However… my grin slowly distorted as I realised what was about to happen.
??? drew his own sword from seemingly nowhere, before pointing it at me.
"Stop [?][?][?][?][?][?][?], you're about to die."
This was something only I could do, and I failed? Tears began streaming down my face, as blood covered my arms and legs.
