Imagine, riding in a car in the night with your mom, the atmosphere lively, and the radio playing your fave song. I was so excited to show my dad my reward and to rub it in my brother's face. Lost in my happiness, I didn't notice someone had run into my mom's car. The things that happened next were a blur.
My mom and I were struggling to come out of the flipped car. I noticed I was bleeding. Then three men who looked like they could be in the mafia came out of the car that hit us. They didn't seem to be affected or injured.
The man in the middle who seemed to be the leader took out his phone and dialled a number, "Sir, we've tracked them down, should we bring them back to base?...Okay sir." I couldn't hear the full conversation.
All of a sudden I hear someone screaming, I look up to see it's my mom. The men were dragging her away. I reach out my hand, staggering, trying to grab her, then I hear a gunshot, and everything goes dark.
