Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 : Dr. Wong on Stage...

Chapter 36: The Grand Demonstration

The Atlas FIFA Stadium was packed to the brim. The largest venue in the country, now transformed into a stage for the most anticipated tech exhibition in modern history.

The crowd—citizens, scientists, soldiers, government officials, and even presidents from various nations—buzzed with excitement, waiting for the man who had recently become a global sensation.

Dr. Wong.

Cameras rolled, broadcasting live to millions around the world. The jumbotron screens flickered, and suddenly, the man of the hour stepped onto the stage, flanked by his robotic assistants. His silver hair gleamed under the stadium lights, his thick goggles reflecting the sea of eager faces before him.

He raised a hand, and silence fell. Then, with a confident smirk, he spoke:

"Esteemed guests, presidents, commanders of army units, ladies and gentlemen, how are you?"

The stadium erupted into cheers.

Dr. Wong nodded, letting the applause wash over him before continuing, his voice carrying a magnetic charm:

"I have come a long way in the field of science and technology. And today, I will share with you what I have managed to invent. Not just AI weapons, but also groundbreaking technological advancements that revolutionize daily life, security, and healthcare. All that by Dr. Wong aka...the Tech-man.Who is ready?"

Another wave of cheers erupted. People leaned forward in their seats.

He turned slightly, gesturing toward the first invention.

1st Demonstration – Super Glasses

From a metallic case, he pulled out a sleek pair of futuristic glasses. The design alone was mesmerizing—thin, lightweight, and almost transparent, with pulsing blue circuits running through the frame.

"These are not just ordinary glasses," he announced. "These are the Super Glasses—designed to enhance vision beyond human limits. With these, you can zoom in on distant objects, see in the dark, and even have X-ray vision."

A murmur of awe rippled through the audience.

"But why just tell you, when I can show you?" Dr. Wong grinned. "I need a volunteer."

Hands shot up. He pointed at a random man in the front row, an excited journalist.

The man rushed forward, and Wong carefully placed the glasses on him. The moment they activated, his eyes widened in shock.

"I... I can see EVERYTHING!" the journalist gasped. "I can see inside that security guard's jacket! He has a gun!"

Laughter rippled through the crowd, mixed with gasps of amazement.

Dr. Wong chuckled. "Yes, X-ray vision. But it doesn't stop there." He then looked around in a suspenseful silence.

" I'll need another volunteer,a blind one to be specific." He said smiling.

The whole world bursted in a murmur of excitement as a blind man was lead to the stage.

Dr. Wong wore him the Super Glasses. He then pressed a button on a remote, and suddenly, the man stumbled back in shock.

"I… I can see perfectly… I can see everyone, everything... what a miracle!" he shouted in joy, tears forming.

The stadium erupted into applause.

Dr. Wong smiled. Perfect. And let him walk back without an aid with his Super Glasses.

" Congratulations, you have won that for yourself for acknowledging Tech-man's miracle," he said and people laughed.

2nd Demonstration – Nano-Med AI Pods

With a wave of his hand, a small pod-shaped machine rolled onto the stage, hovering slightly above the ground. It looked sleek, metallic, and futuristic, humming with intelligent energy.

"This is the Nano-Med AI Pod," he announced. "A machine that can heal injuries and cure diseases at an unmatched speed. Who here has an injury?"

A young woman with crutches was helped onto the stage.

Dr. Wong motioned toward the pod. "Simply step inside."

She hesitated, then did as instructed. The moment she was fully inside, the pod's doors slid shut. A soft hum filled the air as the machine scanned her.

The suspense was palpable.

Then—the doors opened.

The woman stepped out… without crutches.

She gasped. The crowd exploded.

She took one step. Then another. Then she ran.

She could walk!

People were crying. Some were clapping wildly. The stadium was in absolute awe.

Dr. Wong let them have their moment before raising a hand.

"And now, for my final demonstration…"

3rd Demonstration – Guardian AI Robots

From the tunnel of the stadium, a line of humanoid robots marched in perfect unison, their sleek exteriors gleaming in the floodlights. They were not bulky war machines, but rather sleek, advanced protectors—each one programmed for law enforcement, security, and disaster response.

"These are the Guardian AI Robots," Wong said. "They will assist the police, the military, and rescue teams in dangerous situations. Let's see them in action."

He clapped twice, and the robots sprang to life.

One pulled a lost child from the crowd and returned them safely to their parents.

Another assisted an elderly man who was struggling to walk.

A third neutralized a fake 'hostile' that had been planted for the test, pinning him down without harming him.

The public was stunned.

" It doesn't stop there... These Guardian Bots can also serve as friendly personal assistants under specified programs and instructions. No more loneliness nor insecureness."

Dr. Wong let the roar of applause wash over him before stepping back to the microphone, his expression suddenly serious.

Then, in a low, suspenseful voice, he said:

"For our defensive government… I have a surprise for you."

The entire stadium fell into silence.

A massive screen behind him lit up, displaying several advanced AI weapons—but instead of demonstrating them, he simply smiled mysteriously.

"I've this weapons here, but I'll only mention them for spoilers and bloopers benefits... They include Hyper-Loop Transport Pods,SkyGuard Drones,AI-Integrated Exosuits,AI-Powered Orbital Defense System a.k.a (SkyNet-X) and lastly Goliath AI Powered Combat Mechs."

"If any needs to see their true capabilities," he said smoothly, "the government may contact me privately."

The tension in the air was thick.

The message was clear:

He had something powerful.

He was willing to share it.

But not publicly.

In the VIP section, a high-ranking US official leaned toward another and muttered:

"We need to talk to this guy. If we don't, some other country will. There's a need to remain the superpower."

And just like that—Dr. Wong had them exactly where he wanted them.
