Holding the amulet close to his chest, Subaru quickly rushed through the streets, his hands still gripped firmly onto it, afraid it would fall again.
Kyaaahh!
"You stupid woman, screaming for help won't get you anywhere. The Zeo Clan have absolute power in this land. Look around you, no one's willing to help you. So shut up, and come with me, to 'Dreamy Fairyland', where I will make your wishes come true..." Smiling lecherously, tongue licking his lips, the mohawk man steadily got closer to her, eyes wandering around her body.
Despite her desperate pleas and the ongoing crowd beside her, no one helped her.
The Zeo Clan was too strong.
Subaru, feeling rage coursing through his veins, wanted to help her.
But he couldn't.
Clenching his fists tightly, so tightly that blood seeped from his fingers, Subaru stood confused. Just as he was about to turn around and leave, the woman's eyes fell upon Subaru, pleading for help. He could bear no more.
Turning around the street, he headed toward the nearest dark alley, hoping to use its darkness to cover his face with his jacket. Just as he was about to wrap the jacket around his face, his bloodied palms grabbed the amulet.
A bright light illuminated his palm.
The amulet suddenly illuminated, burrowing into his palms. From there, it started inching towards his chest. Yet, despite all of this, Subaru felt no pain at all, as if it declared him worthy.
Wanting to scream, he discovered that he could not. He could only watch as the amulet nestled itself in the center of his chest, germinating tendrils of metallic thread.
Armor started forming around him, covering his chest in thick metal before spreading across his arms. Thin fabric covered most of his arms, with only thick gauntlets forming at the end of each hand. Thick tubes sprouted, joining the chest plate to the gauntlets, empowering them. A mask covered the lower half of his face, sporting sharp edges at the corners of his cheeks.
""Help! Help me!" Now desperate, the woman screamed at the top of her lungs, hoping for anyone to help rescue her. Despite the ongoing crowd, nobody stopped to help, too scared to do anything. The Zeo Clan held too much power in this region.
Just when she had given up hope, a white, metallic gauntlet held the Zeo Clan member's hand. "Let. Go. Off. That. Woman."
Standing beside him, seemingly out of nowhere, was a young man in white, glimmering armor. "K-Kamen Rider!!!" Both yelled in surprise—one filled with hope, the other with confusion. The gang member, although surprised, sneered. "Boy, stop cosplaying and get lost. The great me will overlook this once and will magnanimously forgive you. Me and her still have some... special 'arrangements' left to—"
Boom!
Ah, the sky looks so blue today...
These were the gangster's final thoughts as he flew toward the building wall ten feet away.
"Thank you, so—" As the woman attempted to thank her savior, she discovered he had left long ago, leaving nothing except the heart of a young maiden.
