A chill caressed his skin as Jae-Hyun opened his eyes, his consciousness immediately assaulted by unfamiliar sensations. Polished obsidian stretched beneath his feet, cold and unnervingly detailed, reflecting a throne room he knew intimately. He stood in the grand throne room of The Void's 15th floor, a place he had meticulously designed down to the gold-etched walls and constellation-filled ceilings.
A low rumble drew his gaze. Arrayed in perfect symmetry around the throne were 22 Obsidian Golems, their towering forms exuding menace and strength. Level 100,000 each, these guardians stood as unshakable sentinels of the Chaos Floor.
"Am I dreaming?" Jae-Hyun whispered. His voice echoed through the hall like a ghost.
"Your Majesty," came a familiar voice. Turning, he found himself face-to-face with Melverick, his most loyal NPC and right-hand enforcer. The silver-haired warrior radiated a charisma and intensity he'd never experienced before.
"Melverick? What…" Jae-Hyun started but trailed off. A system panel hovered before him, identical to the interface he'd grown accustomed to. His stats were intact, his gear flawless, yet the realm felt disconcertingly alive—as if Dungeon and Fantasy Online had transformed from game to reality.
