Jhoannes held back his laughter at Ellard's behavior. He thought it was funny that Ellard was angry like that. He is very suitable to be his grandson. Ellard was a brave boy. Even he knew that Ellard was afraid of his father. However, it looks like it was just a lie. In fact, now Ellard seemed to dare to speak in a raised tone of voice.
"I bet you know something. What don't I know that you know?" asked Camelia, suddenly making Jhoannes, who was holding back his laughter, now silent, and then turned to his wife, who was looking at him suspiciously.
"He said if I was kidnapped, what were you doing at that time? And I just remembered, every time I wanted to see El while I was still undergoing treatment, you would answer that El was busy working. What are you hiding from me?" asked Camelia, looking seriously at her husband.
"Nothing, dear. I have nothing to hide," Jhoannes said with a smile.
Camelia still looked seriously at her husband, but she did not press him to tell the truth. She would settle this matter when it was possible to get an explanation for the words of the man who claimed to be her son's lover.
On the other hand, Axton was persuading his son not to get angry again. "El, Daddy doesn't lie if Mommy is working. What is happening right now with Mommy is because Mommy fell while working. Daddy didn't tell El because Daddy didn't want El to be sad," said Axton, trying to explain to his son, even though everything he said was a lie. He didn't know what had happened to Elanor to injure and bleed her head.
How would he know if Elanor was hurt if he had lost track of Elanor? He did not expect that his son would find out about this and see his mother, who was currently being treated by a doctor. The information that Axton got from Helio was that Elanor was taken to the hospital because she fell until her head was injured and bleeding. That was all he knew.
Helio also told him about Elanor's last name, and after that, Axton ordered Delano to find out about Gilmer, it turned out that Gilmer was one of his family's business competitors in the property and modeling fields. However, even though Gilmer is a business competitor of his family, Gilmer has never done anything evil to bring down Axton's family business. The only thing he knew was that his father had a problem with Gilmer. He didn't know what the problem was, but his father had also warned him not to deal with the Gilmer family.
Axton asked Delano to find out more about the Gilmer family. He had to know what Gilmer's relationship with Elanor was until he was here, and it was answered that Gilmer was Elanor's father. It's still not very clear that he knows, but from the words of Elanor's mother, if she was taken by her husband, not kidnapped, it indicates that Gilmer is the name of Elanor's father, and the man sitting next to Elanor's mother is Elanor's father.
Ellard said no more, he was still angry with his father until now. He sat with his back to Axton. Axton could only sigh heavily in the face of his angry son. "Dady wants to introduce El to Mommy's parents, does El want to meet them?" Axton asked, and instantly, Ellard turned his body to look at Axton.
Ellard's face looked confused by Axton's words. "Besides the grandmother and grandfather who met El, El has other grandmothers and grandfathers. Would you like to meet them?" asked Axton in a soft tone of voice. His hand now reached out to rub Ellard's head, making Axton now swear because he forgot that his son's hair was falling out."Where's the beanie that Daddy bought for El? Why isn't El wearing it?" asked Axton as he handed the fallen hair to Ellard's babysitter.
What Axton was doing was clearly visible to Camelia, leaving her shocked. It turned out that the little boy in front of her was very sick. It was a disease that she had once suffered from. She had breast cancer, which made her have to undergo chemotherapy, and it made her hair fall out. Was such a small child also suffering from cancer to the point that his hair was falling out like that? That was the question that was now in Camelia's brain.
"It's hot, Dad, El doesn't like it," Ellard replied.
Axton didn't discuss the beanie that Ellard wasn't wearing anymore. "El wants to meet Grandma and Grandpa?" asked Ellard again.
Axton stood up and held out his hand to his son. "El wants to wait for Mommy. El wants to see Mommy," Ellard said, looking at his father.
"Sure, but El wants to meet and get acquainted with El's grandparents, right?" asked Axton, who was still holding out his hand.
Ellard looked at the daddy's hand that was still stretched forward. "El will meet Mommy. El will not go far from Mommy," Axton assured his son.
Ellard accepted his father's hand. He got down from the chair he was sitting on and followed his daddy. When he was invited to walk closer to Jhoannes and Camelia, Ellard slowed down his pace, and then after Axton had stood next to Camelia, Ellard stood behind Axton's feet.
"El, stand next to Daddy," Axton said as he turned to his son, who was standing behind his feet.
"Are you afraid of Grandpa?" asked Camelia in a soft tone of voice and smiled so warmly.
Ellard raised his head slightly so that he could look at Camelia. Ellard nodded his head, making Camelia chuckle with amusement at Ellard's innocence in admitting that he was indeed afraid of Jhoannes. "It's okay, grandpa is fine. It's just his face that's scary," said Camelia, still in a soft tone of voice and not forgetting that warm smile.
Ellard didn't answer but went back to hiding behind Axton's legs when his eyes locked with Jhoannes's. Camelia shot her husband an annoyed look. She then pinched her husband's stomach. "Face, you!" annoyed Camelia.
"My face is like this," said Jhoannes, glaring at his wife.
"Sorry, ma'am," said Axton.
"No need to apologize. I should be the one apologizing because of my husband's face, your son is scared," Camelia said with a smile.
Axton smiled. "El, shake hands with Grandma and Grandpa," Axton said.
"El said he wanted to meet Grandma and Grandpa, this is El's grandma and grandpa," Axton said again, making Camelia frown. There seemed to be something wrong with what the man in front of her was saying at the moment.
