Chapter 8 - Agriculture

As Amarasinghe Arjun Reddy returned to Amarasinghe Estate after a day of intense discussions, his mind brimmed with possibilities. With his assets secured and his grandfathers backing him with their wealth and networks, Arjun felt it was time to make strategic moves. His focus now turned toward the immediate challenges—completing his 10th grade and laying the groundwork for his financial empire.

The day began with an early breakfast in the sunlit dining hall of Amarasinghe Estate. Ananya, dressed in a soft peach saree, radiated a calm confidence as she joined Arjun. Ravi Chowdary, the head butler, placed a neatly folded newspaper on the table alongside the morning coffee.

Back at the estate, Arjun met with his grandfathers and trusted advisors. The topic for the day: agriculture.

Rajendra Reddy unfurled a large map onto the table. "These lands," he said, pointing to fertile areas near Godavari and Krishna deltas, "can yield significant profits if we modernize irrigation and introduce mechanized farming."

Ramachandra Chowdary chimed in, "And the turmeric fields in Kadapa—export them directly to Middle Eastern markets. The margins are immense."

Arjun listened intently, his sharp mind calculating every detail. "We'll do both. Ravi, set up a meeting with agricultural consultants. I want a five-year plan for revenue maximization. Also, let's allocate funds for direct-to-export channels."

Rajashekar Reddy, who had joined as a political advisor, nodded approvingly. "Impressive, Arjun. Your grasp of economics is sharper than most adults."

Arjun smiled faintly. "It's about vision, uncle. We have the resources; now we need execution."

Later that evening, Arjun sat by the massive library in the estate. Ananya joined him, carrying a tray with two cups of hot chocolate.

"You've been working nonstop," she said, placing the tray down. "Take a break."

Arjun leaned back, sighing. "I can't afford breaks, Ananya. Every decision I make today determines our future."

Ananya smiled, brushing back a stray lock of hair. "You're doing great, Arjun. But don't forget—you're not alone in this."

Their bond grew stronger with each passing day. Ananya's unwavering support and the confidence of his grandfathers fueled Arjun's resolve to conquer every challenge that lay ahead.
