Great, now there was someone else who could remind me of something I have done by accident, many years ago.
"But explain to me, where would a four-year-old see the blood of Wolfsbane?"
"I didn't ask you here to talk about my slave." Alpha Jesse said in disgust. "Or, what happened to my brother then?"
Alpha Anker grabs his jacket from the chair where he sat. Unlike other Alphas, he dresses more casually. A simple plain trousers and tee covers his huge frame. Unlike other Alphas in the pack, his body was void of tattoos, not a single bit of ink poked out anywhere, or at least, on his arms which I could see clearly.
"You're right. Now I have a few things to mull over."
"I thought we had an agreement on this!" My brother exclaims.
"Well, that's I think it's an unsigned agreement you know? Now I will show myself out."
Afterwards, Alpha Anker left the office. Immediately he left the office, both my brother and Beta Clarke round on me. "What the fuck did you discuss or say to him that prompted all the saying of his?" My brother asked, slamming his hands into my stomach.
"N…nothing, he just asked me why I smelled funny."
"Did you tell him?" Beta Clarke demands. He was practically spitting in my face. I hated Beta Clarke. I hated him so much that I vowed to one day get my revenge and rip his stomach out through his mouth.
"O well." My brother yelled and slacks me across the side of my head because 8 didn't immediately respond.
Involuntarily, my head moves up and down. "But I never told him it was you." I said it, trying to sound confident and bold, but my voice was barely above whisper. If they were not wolves, they probably would not have heard me.
Immediately, my brother's hand locked into my black hair as he wanked my head back, sending a horrible shooting pain through my skull. "Listen Emilia, if you ruin this, you will not see the daylight again."
He drags me by my hair from the office through the basement doorway.
"Please, I had no other option than to answer him since he was an Alpha." I beg. My cheeks burn with my tears as he flings the door open.
On the other side of the door was Alpha Anker standing, leaning against the wall with his arms folded and staring at us. My brother's hands fell off my hairs, relieving me of the pressure on the back of my skull.
"Alpha Anker, I did think you left long ago." My brother, Alpha Jesse murmurs angrily.
"I said I would show myself out. I thought I had found the door, instead, I found a basement, riddled with your sister's strange scent. Is this how you treat your own family?"
"As I I said." My brother stands his ground. She is responsible for the death of my brother, so for sure, she deserves this or more.
" You should keep your nose out of other packs' business and stop poke nosing into what doesn't concern you!" Beta Clarke adds.
Alpha Anker burst into laughter. "If I agree to this deal, everything about your business becomes my business. So, telle, what would your punishment be for her? No food, locked up for a week, beatings?"
"We don't…"
"Really?" He cocks a brow. "Do you actually expect me to believe that you would have just let her sleep? I had already hindered you from hitting her once." Alpha Anker's eyes roamed over me. "She is underfed, bags hovering under her tired blue eyes. We know how Alpha's sisters are treated in the pack, but for a sister of an Alpha, she is definitely not being treated as one. Regardless of what she allegedly did when she was a pup."
"She did it for sure." Alpha Jesse seethes. "and she has nothing to do with our deal."
"Well, that's for me to decide." His crimson eyes flickering every corner of the hallway. "Where is your mate? I will be interested to know how she feels about this."
At this point, I closed my eyes, silently begging my brother not to call him Luna. Luna Priscilla is worse than Beta Clarke and Alpha Jesse together.
"On second thoughts, why would you bother her, I'm sure she is as vile as you." He sneers.
I peer through slits to see his crimson eyes. There was no reason for him to defend yet he did. I was actually a nobody, no, not a special one. Just that one person everybody calls a traitor. Only instead of being given a death sentence, my brother chose to make my life miserable by making me suffer throughout my life.
"I have a proposition for you, Alpha Jesse." Alpha Anker is smirking at my brother.
"We have already agreed on terms."
"Well, for your information, I'm actually adding one, and if you don't agree, you will not gety help. Instead of my help for you, you will become my enemy, and we both know that you don't want that."
"I take it that your new terms have something to do with her?" Alpha Jesse mutters through clenched teeth.
"You would be correct. Let me take her away to my pack then you, Trey will have a deal."
But why? Me? Why would he want me?
Asy brother and Beta Clarke discussed me, Alpha Anker kept on studying me. His eyes on me made me nervous. Thoughts began running in my mind. What would someone like him possibly want with me?
"Okay, deal." Alpha Jesse sticks out his hand for Alpha Anker to shake. He doesn't take it, instead, his crimson eyes shifted from me to my brother.
"I will have paperwork drawn, then I will come back tomorrow." He cups my face, "ensure you have everything packed." He drags his thumb across my bottom lips and strides to the opposite end of the hallway and straight to the front door. He definitely knew where the front door was, so what was he up to?
