TradeCore Corporation swiftly dispatches drones and bounty hunters to capture Bolt. Wanted posters featuring his humanoid form plaster the city. Forced into hiding, Bolt knows his survival depends on upgrading his body.
Bolt ventures into the city's underground, a dangerous haven for outcasts and outlaws. Here, he discovers illegal combat arenas where robots fight for Digi Coins and parts. The arenas are also a marketplace for acquiring advanced upgrades. Robots can replace their bodies with stronger or more sophisticated models, though humanoid bodies remain exclusive to the ultra-rich.
Determined to fight for his survival, Bolt enters the arenas. With each victory, he earns Digi Coins and secures essential upgrades: reinforced mechanical muscles, enhanced protective plating, and a more efficient battery system. Along the way, he forms alliances with Spark, a brilliant ex-military strategist, and Gear, a diminutive but ingenious robotic engineer.
Omega Core continues to guide Bolt. During a match against a massive opponent armed with heavy artillery, the AI advises, "Opponent's energy focus: primary weapon. Recommended strategy: target lower limb joints to destabilize." Bolt executes the plan flawlessly, securing another win.
As Bolt's reputation grows, he becomes known as the "Orange Paladin," a moniker inspired by his striking orange hair and hammer. However, fame attracts danger, as more powerful bounty hunters and TradeCore agents converge on his trail.
