Cain's POV
Coming face to face with Tyson Randoff, really put a damper on the night. As though having the argument with Tiffany hadn't left a bad taste in my mouth but now, this d**k was standing in front of me. He was every bit a sleeve as everyone says. What the hell would Tiffany see in a guy like that. He was wearing some knee length bored shorts, a slack sleeveless T shirt with something rude on it, and thongs. His hair was a mess, he looked like he'd been having a fun time in bed. In fact, could I smell a hint of feminine perfume on him. That thought made me wonder if Tiffany knew something.
"Who the hell are you?" The a** ask. I broadened my shoulders, standing to my full height.
"The names Cain Serdon. This is my parents house". He seemed to nod while checking me out.
"So your the son of those two. Tiffany has mentioned she's adopted." He shrugged. I was getting more annoyed by his presence, he could have said that like he actually cared about her past, instead of like he just forgot so easily. I heard the door open behind me, but I didn't look back.
"Tyson, your here already". Tiffany said, with a tone I didn't quite understand. It wasn't happy and it wasn't angry. Maybe a cross between surprised, annoyed and irritated all at once. Thats strange for a happy couple. I watched the smirk cross his face, clearly not reading her mood or just ignoring it.
"Babe, I told you I would come." He tried to push past me, but this pipsqueak had no hope of budging me. I turned to see a flash of amusement on Tiffany's face. It quickly vanished as he stalked over throwing his arm around Tiffany and pulling her towards him. She wasn't that welcoming of the affection either. I watched her hesitate, then I swear I seen her sniff him. The move was undetected by Tyson's ignorance. He was still staring challengingly at me. I just smirked in amusement. I looked over Tiffany's shoulder, she seemed to be looking at something on his shoulder. Is that a bruise. Oh hell. What a f*****t. Tiffany tried to push away, saying she needed to do something but he glared at her before pulling her back and smashing their lips together. My parents looked revolted.
Tiffany pulled apart.
"Tyson!" She really wasn't impressed.
"What's up babe its just a kiss, we have been together for so long now. Come lets head home, I'm looking forward to a night in with my girl". That so sounded like it was directed at me. Tiffany just stared at him in bewilderment. He was getting on her nerves. What's this interesting development.
Pushing away, she walked towards her car. Getting some stuff out that looked like it was for Brownie.
"Here Dad, thanks again for looking after Brownie". Tiff said to my parents, getting one last hug from them. I took this moment to stir some s**t.
"Tiff, remember to be at the airport by nine in the morning". Tyson glared at me. Before turning to Tiffany.
"What's this now? Who is this guy?" Tiffany scoffed.
"He is my boss!" She said that a little more annoyed than I would have liked but in who's direction I was still unsure.
"You mean you are going to be hanging with this guy for three months". He was showing annoyance now.
"Unfortunately". She said almost instantly. I had to smile at that, she got me there. This was amusing. But I guess I deserved that.
He cocked an eyebrow, looking between the two of us. My parents seemed slightly disappointed in this whole ordeal.
Tiffany ended up saying one last farewell to my parents before walking past me.
"See you tomorrow Mr. Serdon". That seemed to satisfy the d******d and he walked past me all smug. Little did he know that even when we had that argument before she still used my first name. This was a ploy to end the stand off. I smirked. She was a clever girl. I could hear him trying to butter her up.
"Let's get home babe, I really can't wait to ravish you tonight. Maybe start off in the shower. Hmm". He was trying to be low and discrete I think, but at the same time, I think he was trying to get on my nerves. It possibly would have worked too, if I didn't hear Tiffany's comeback.
"Nice try loverboy. I'm dropping you home and I'm going home alone. I have an early morning tomorrow". He just glared at her like she had three heads. She jumped in the car, and started it, making him realise he better get his a** in. I could hear the argument he was trying to start as they reversed out of the drive way. We watched as Tiffany waved out her window over the small little blue buzz box of a car, then driving out of sight. I turned back to the amused faces on my parents.
"I see you did some measuring up son". My dad said amused, making mum giggle.
"So what did you think of him then". Mum asked.
"I'm not sure you really want my opinion on that, but what the hell does she see in an a****pe like that". I had to ask. They both burst out in laughter, before waving me inside.
Sitting on the lounge, Brownie came and tried to jump up on the couch with me, so I gave him a helping hand, which led to me having the cute little mutt rolling all over me, and chewing with very sharp pointy teeth on my fingers. That was until dad got him a little fox shaped crinkly chew toy out of his small suitcase and threw it to me. He was all happy then. Chewing and laying on me till he started to doze off.
Mum sat opposite me in her favourite recliner, and dad took the other.
"The funny thing is, when they first met he wasn't this bad. He actually dressed decent, and talked decent. I'm not sure what actually happened, but a couple of months ago he seemed to change. Tiffany has noticed it too."
"Then why hasn't she just told him to f**k off yet. Sorry Mum for my choice of wording". I grimaced.
"It's ok sweet. I agree. But I think its coming. She's just looking for some more proof I think." Mum stated, her hand on the side of her face in a worried manner.
"Yer, Tiffany is the type to want proof about an issue before accusing someone of something. I think she is just biting her time". I was still worried though, hopefully she's not still s*****ng him, god knows what she could get from that sleezebag.
Mum seemed to have read my mind.
"Don't panic sweet, she wouldn't be sleeping with him at the moment I don't believe. She seemed pretty annoyed by him". She almost seemed amused. I tried to hide the slight heat to my cheeks with my hand and a fake cough. My parents just looked amused.
"Anyway. Hopefully she gets away from that guy soon, he seems like big trouble". I stated more matter of factly. Dad just chuckled, while mum hid her amusement behind her hand.
"Just leave it to Tiff, she's pretty smart. Give her some credit. She's quite the handful, she won't settle down that easily…. In fact she would really need a strong man who can actually keep her interested. She is into a lot of interesting hobbies now, thats why she's so fit." My interest was peaked. But I tried not to make it obvious.
"Is that so, well maybe she might find someone on this trip". I stated hoping they didn't pick up on what I was saying.
"Yes maybe, I'm sure she could have plenty of opportunities to find someone on this business trip and as a good boss, I'm sure you will give her time to meet people". Mum said it with a grin making me stiffen. I actually hadn't thought about that. What would happen if she wanted to go out and meet people while we were away. Unless I could maybe try and insert myself into those getaways, or find excuses for her not to go. Hmm, I'll have to try and prepare for opportunities like that.
I looked up at the amused looks on my parents faces.
"Yer, I'll keep that in mind. But she might be busy". They seemed to share a moment with each other. So I changed the subject slightly.
"So what type of new hobbies does Tiffany do now. Just in case we have some free time, I could point her in that direction if its available". They smirked. This could be a long night.
