Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 5 - New life unfold

In Calonia it's 9 am. Soleil-Anu just come from hospital, into Soleil's parents house.

'Now they seems calm... I should tell them the truth' She thought, her resolve shaky but firm.

"I want to tell you something..." Anu was nervous, as she never encounter situation like this before. They both looked at her, waiting to see what Soleil will say.

"I....I..." Anu trying to tell them the truth.

'Why the hell I am nervous...?' She said to herself.

"If you can't remember anything.... don't force yourself dear..." her mother said with calm voice.

"No...I want say... it's important..."

"What is it... is it about your accident...?" Her mother seems worried as Anu mentioned important .

"Accident? No... I mean. I am not your daughter... I mean this body is your daughter but the soul isn't.... do you understand what I mean?" She herself was confused after saying it. Trying to figure it out that if she say it right or not.

They both were dumbfounded as they are confused.

"What does that mean?" Her mother asked in confusion.

"Maybe she not herself right now because of her Amnesia." Soleil's father said to her.

They both had worried look on their faces.

"No... you got it wrong... I am fine. I am fine with my mental state... this physical body is not mine... but your daughter's." Anu said.

"Ah...." she let out a exasperated sign.

She finally got a idea. She take the telephone from the shelf.

"I will prove you that what I am saying is true." She said with confidence.

She dialed her father's number waiting for him to pick up. But he declined it.

"Why the hell you cut the phone..." she let out her frustration on the telephone. Poor telephone.

Then she dialed her mother number. She takes a deep breath and held the phone on her ears. And yet again her mother cut the phone.

"What's wrong with my family... can't they just pick up the damm phone" she said in angry.

"Soleil... please put the phone back... we truth you whatever you will say to us." Her mother said.

"You saying because you think I have Amnesia... but I will prove it that I don't..." she replied with cold voice.

She again try to call her mother. 'Pick up. Pick up.' She murmured. She was anxious.

"Finally you answered..." she take out a deep breath.

Other side on the phone was her mother. "Who is it?"

"Ma... ye me hu, Anu[Mother it's me. Anu]"

Other side, her mother jaw fell after hearing it.

"Wait... what are you saying... how...[Ye, kya bol rahi ho... kaise?]" Anu mother freaking out.

"Mother I had no idea but my soul come here in Calonia... some girl name Sholay or Shola... whatever...[Maa, mujhe nahin pata hai, lekin meri aatma yahaan Calonia mein aa gayi... kisi ladki ke aundar... naam Sholay ya Shola... Asa kush hai...]"

"How can we believe that you are real Anu...?[Anu, tum sach mein ho, yeh hum kaise maan lein?]" Anu's father asked. The phone was on speaker.

"Ok... before this Soul swapping thing... I had a argument with you... didn't I, Mother[Haan, theek hai... is aatma badalne ki cheez se pehle... maire aur aapaki ladai hoi thi, na Maa?]?"

Other side, mother nodded for her statement.

"How can this happened...?" Both were puzzled.

"Wait... I bring the girl..." Anu's mother said.

She brings Soleil who was in Anu's body.

"Here... please talk to your daughter... the real daughter." Anu said to Soleil's parents.

"Here," Anu's mother said, passing the phone to Soleil. "Please, talk to them. Talk to your… real parents."

Soleil hesitated, then gently took the phone, holding it up to her ear. Anu's parents waited on the other end, their hearts pounding in anticipation.

"Hello?" Soleil said softly, her voice quivering.

What followed was a conversation filled with shock, disbelief, and an overwhelming sense of the surreal. The room buzzed with emotions, Soleil's parents trying to make sense of the impossibility, while Anu's parents, halfway across the world, grappled with the truth.

The only ones who remained composed were Anu and Soleil. For them, this was no longer a mystery—it was their new, bizarre reality. They both tell them whole truth of how things end up here.

After hanging up the phone.

"Phew... what a long day... isn't... uncle...Aunty...?" Anu's asked. Who is inside Soleil's body.

"Yeah... indeed..." Soleil's mother said but she was not focusing on Anu's word. She was still confused whether to believe what she heard ot not. Same with Soleil's father.

"So... what now?" Anu asked.

"Huh?" Father got distracted from his thoughts.

"I don't know..." Father looked at the hanging clock. "Let ne open the shop... it already time..." Father went down to open the shop.

"How... will our daughter come back to her body?" Mother asked.

"Actually... I myself have no idea... it's my first time experience something like this..." Anu answered and sit besides Soleil's mother on the sofa.

"What you gonna do now...?" She asked.

"Well, pretend to be Sholay..." Anu said.

"Not Sholay it's Soleil" she said while giving a calm smile.

"Sorry... I got pronouncing problem..." she said while scratching her back of her neck.

"Tell me about Soleil's lifestyle..." Anu asked.

Soleil's mother after taking a deep breath, "Soleil is a ordinary girl, but she is a diamond to us. Her intelligence opened the door we never dreamed of. Which let her in the top school, 'Aurum Academy' the elite, the high class, high status children study there. We were happy that she also get a chance to enroll into that school. We remember that day." Her voice was calm as she remembered that happy moments.

"She is a brilliant student. At first month when there was a exam she scored 1st in her class." Soleil's mother said with proudly .

"First place?" Anu's eyes widened in disbelief. She slumped back against the sofa, rubbing the back of her neck. "I can't even dream of that. I barely scraped by in school. Just passing my exams was enough to make my family happy."

Soleil's mother gave her a look of gentle encouragement, though there was an undercurrent of worry in her tone. "I don't know if you'll be able to keep up with her standards, but… please try your best. Her grades mean a lot, not just to her, but to us as well."

"Tell me about her friends.... maybe they will help me" she said to change subject. As feel guilty for not being good in studies.

"Her friends, she dies have but... I don't know their names. Soleil told me that they eat together and spend time... do projects. They treat each other..." As she telling Anu about Soleil's friends, from down a voice echoed calling Soleil's mother.

"I think... he (Soleil's father) is calling me... maybe customers are more than expected." She said and gets up from sofa. "I will tell you about her school life..." she added and then she wore her apron and went down to handle shop.

'I think maybe I should now focus on studying... what a disaster.' Anu said to herself.

It's lunch time in Canada. And in India it's bed time.

Soleil's parents still working in their own small restaurant. (Their restaurant is on the ground floor and they live on the 1st floor.)

Anu heard a phone ring. She picked it up.

"Who?" She asked.

"Sorry I called you... I want to tell you something important... but at first what did you plan to do till you are inside my body?" Soleil on the other side of the call.

"To live life of yours..."

"Don't" Soleil panicked.

"What happened, why suddenly?"

"I have a request... please whatever I tell you don't tell my parents about it... I don't want them to worry about me." Soleil started sobbing.

"Is something happened?"

"I... when you entered the school gate... just pretend you never existed. This is the only way to survive in that place...it looks like a luxury, fancy at top but when you get in it turns out to be your worst decision."

"Did you get bullied?" Aun asked.

"Bullying is such a small word for what they did to me... just do what I say..."

"Ok... tell me..."

"Pretend you are a dead person when you enter in the school. And let me tell you I HAVE NO FRIENDS. No one is there to help you, every one will watch your miserable life. Not even teachers....—"

"I know you are worried... and your worrying is right. But what do teachers do of they turn blind eyes..."

"Aurum academy, is own by big businessman... and his own son known as 'Crown prince' . And his two other friends who are known as 'prince charming' and 'prince dreamy. The whole group is called 'Royal highness'. Careful, Don't ever try to get near them... or your life will...—"

Anu started laughing, "sorry... sorry... I couldn't stop my laugh... but what did you say... Royal highness.... crown prince... dreamy... charming..." she couldn't stop her laughing.

"Anu, I am serious...believe me."

"I do... but... charming... dreamy. Seriously."

"Anu..." Soleil said in commended voice.

"Sorry...please continue."

"The person you have to stay away is Kaia Kennedy."

"Kay candy...?"

"No... Kaia Kennedy. She is the one who... made my life hell in school."

"Okay understood... you really don't have to worry about yourself... just pretend to be me... or just pretend to be yourself I don't care. My parents knows everything about my life, so they will guide you."

"Thanks... but still please... be careful..." Soleil said in worried voice.

"Don't worry, sis... everything will be under control..." Anu gave a smirk smile on her face. And hung up the call.

'Let's see, how dangerous can a school be...'
